이사야 23:1-25:12

 이사야는 교만한 두로와 시돈이 하나님의 심판으로 멸망받게 되는데, 두로는 하나님의 권고로 70년 만에 회복되지만 여전히 죄악의 도성으로 남게 될 것이라고 예언하였다. 그리고 최후의 심판의 날에 하나님의 백성들은 구원을 받지만 하나님을 대적하는 교만한 모압은 멸망을 받을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  두로의 심판(23:1-23:18)    
 
  1. The oracle concerning Tyre Wail, O ships of Tarshish, For Tyre is destroyed, without house or harbor; It is reported to them from the land of Cyprus.
  2. Be silent, you inhabitants of the coastland, You merchants of Sidon; Your messengers crossed the sea
  3. And were on many waters. The grain of the Nile, the harvest of the River was her revenue; And she was the market of nations.
  4. Be ashamed, O Sidon; For the sea speaks, the stronghold of the sea, saying, "I have neither travailed nor given birth, I have neither brought up young men nor reared virgins."
  5. When the report reaches Egypt, They will be in anguish at the report of Tyre.
  1. 띠로에 이런 선언이 내려졌다. 다르싯의 배들아, 통곡하여라. 너희가 닻을 내릴 도피항은 이미 헐렸다. 키프로스에서 오는 길에 이 소식을 들어야 하다니.
  2. 바다를 끼고 사는 사람들, 많은 상품을 바다로 실어 나르는 시돈의 무역업자들은 어안이 벙벙해졌구나.
  3. 큰 강 나일 가에서 거둔 곡식으로 돈을 벌어 국제 시장을 이루었던 자들은 어안이 벙벙해졌구나.
  4. 시돈아, 부끄러운 줄이나 알아라. 바다는 말한다. "나는 산고를 겪어 아기를 낳지도 않았으며 총각을 기른 일도, 처녀를 키운 일도 없다."
  5. 띠로가 망했다는 소식을 전해 듣고 이집트는 낙담하리라.
  1. Pass over to Tarshish; Wail, O inhabitants of the coastland.
  2. Is this your jubilant city, Whose origin is from antiquity, Whose feet used to carry her to colonize distant places?
  3. Who has planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, Whose merchants were princes, whose traders were the honored of the earth?
  4. The LORD of hosts has planned it, to defile the pride of all beauty, To despise all the honored of the earth.
  5. Overflow your land like the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish, There is no more restraint.
  1. 바다를 끼고 사는 사람들아, 통곡하며 다르싯으로 건너가거라.
  2. 이것이 너희가 뽐내던 도시더냐! 아득한 옛날에 건설된 유래깊은 도시, 멀리 흩어져 가서 식민지를 세우던 도시더냐!
  3. 누가 이런 결정을 내렸는가? 왕관이 빛나던 여왕 띠로에게 그 상인들은 귀공자요, 무역업자들은 세상이 우러르던 자들이었는데......
  4. 이 결정을 내리신 분은 만군의 야훼, 뽐내던 온갖 사치를 짓밟으시고 세상이 우러르던 자들을 천대받게 하셨다.
  5. 다르싯의 딸이여, 흙이나 파거라. 항구는 이미 없어졌다.
  1. He has stretched His hand out over the sea, He has made the kingdoms tremble; The LORD has given a command concerning Canaan to demolish its strongholds.
  2. He has said, "You shall exult no more, O crushed virgin daughter of Sidon Arise, pass over to Cyprus; even there you will find no rest."
  3. Behold, the land of the Chaldeans--this is the people which was not; Assyria appointed it for desert creatures--they erected their siege towers, they stripped its palaces, they made it a ruin.
  4. Wail, O ships of Tarshish, For your stronghold is destroyed.
  5. Now in that day Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years like the days of one king. At the end of seventy years it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the harlot:
  1. 야훼께서 나라들을 뒤엎으시려고 팔을 바다 위에 뻗치셨고 가나안의 요새들을 허물라고 명령하셨다.
  2. 그리고 이르셨다. "다시는 뽐내지 마라. 짓밟힌 처녀, 시돈의 딸아, 일어나 키프로스로 가보아라. 그러나 거기에서도 마음놓고 살 수 없으리라."
  3. 키프로스로 가보아야, 그 곳에 있는 백성은 이미 나라를 이룰 수조차 없게 되었다. 아시리아가 그 곳을 들귀신들이 들끓는 곳으로 만들었다. 그들은 공격진을 펴고, 치솟은 궁궐을 헐어 쑥밭으로 만들었다.
  4. 다르싯의 배들아, 통곡하여라. 너희가 닻을 내릴 도피항은 이미 헐렸다.
  5. 그 날 이후로 띠로는 한 왕의 수명인 칠십 년 동안 기억하는 사람이 없으리라. 칠십 년이 지난 후에는 노랫가락에 나오는 창녀처럼 되리라.
  1. Take your harp, walk about the city, O forgotten harlot; Pluck the strings skillfully, sing many songs, That you may be remembered.
  2. It will come about at the end of seventy years that the LORD will visit Tyre Then she will go back to her harlot's wages and will play the harlot with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.
  3. Her gain and her harlot's wages will be set apart to the LORD; it will not be stored up or hoarded, but her gain will become sufficient food and choice attire for those who dwell in the presence of the LORD.
  1. 기억에서 사라졌던 창녀야, 수금을 들고 거리를 쏘다녀라. 수금을 멋지게 뜯으며 마냥 노래를 불러라. 그리하여 네 생각이 다시 나게 하여라.
  2. 칠십 년이 지난 후, 야훼께서 띠로를 찾아오시리라. 그 때 띠로는 다시 화대를 받고 땅 위에 있는 모든 나라들에게 몸을 팔 것이다.
  3. 그러나 화대로 번 돈은 쌓아두거나 저축하지 아니하고 야훼께 드려 거룩한 돈이 되리라. 그 번 돈은 야훼 앞에서 사는 사람들이 넉넉한 음식과 훌륭한 옷감을 장만하는 데 쓰이리라.
 
  땅의 심판(24:1-24:23)    
 
  1. Behold, the LORD lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.
  2. And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor.
  3. The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for the LORD has spoken this word.
  4. The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.
  5. The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant.
  1. 보아라. 야훼께서 온 땅을 황야로 만드신다. 땅바닥을 말끔히 쓰시고 주민을 흩으신다.
  2. 서민도 사제도, 종도 상전도 똑같다. 하녀도 주부도, 파는 이도 사는 이도 똑같다. 빌리는 이도 빌려주는 이도, 빚 준 이도 빚 얻은 이도 똑같다.
  3. 온 땅을 말끔히 쓸어가시어 남은 것은 돌더미뿐이리라. 야훼께서 이렇게 선고하셨다.
  4. 산천은 메마르고 세상은 파리해지니 하늘도 땅과 함께 슬퍼한다.
  5. 주민의 발에 밟혀 땅은 더러워졌다. 그들이 법을 어기고 명을 거슬러 영원한 계약을 깨뜨렸기 때문이다.
  1. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.
  2. The new wine mourns, The vine decays, All the merry-hearted sigh.
  3. The gaiety of tambourines ceases, The noise of revelers stops, The gaiety of the harp ceases.
  4. They do not drink wine with song; Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
  5. The city of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up so that none may enter.
  1. 그리하여, 온 땅은 저주를 받고, 주민은 처형된다. 세상의 주민은 거의 다 불에 타 죽는다.
  2. 술은 마르고, 포도덩굴은 시든다. 기뻐 가슴 뛰던 이들도 한숨만 짓는다.
  3. 흥겨운 소구 소리도 그치고 흥청대는 고함 소리도 멎는다. 멋진 수금 가락도 다시는 울리지 않는다.
  4. 노래도 없이 퍼마시는 술, 그 독한 술맛은 입에 쓰기만 하다.
  5. 도시는 무너져 온통 혼란에 빠지고 집집마다 문을 단단히 닫아걸어 드나드는 자도 없다.
  1. There is an outcry in the streets concerning the wine; All joy turns to gloom. The gaiety of the earth is banished.
  2. Desolation is left in the city And the gate is battered to ruins.
  3. For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.
  4. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the LORD.
  5. Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, The name of the LORD, the God of Israel, In the coastlands of the sea.
  1. 술이 떨어져 거리는 비탄에 빠지고 취흥은 자취를 감추고 흥겨운 노래도 사라진다.
  2. 거리에 남은 것은 잿더미뿐 성문은 산산이 부서졌다.
  3. 이런 변을 겪고 난 백성들은 올리브를 떨고 몇 알 남는 것이 없듯이, 포도를 거두고 몇 송이 남는 것이 없듯이 되리라.
  4. 목청도 우렁차게 외치는 저 즐거운 소리, 야훼께 영광을 돌리는 저 소리가 바다에서 울려오는구나.
  5. "해 뜨는 쪽에서도 야훼께 영광을 돌려라. 바다 쪽에서도 이스라엘의 하느님 야훼의 이름을 찬양하여라."
  1. From the ends of the earth we hear songs, "Glory to the Righteous One," But I say, "Woe to me! Woe to me! Alas for me! The treacherous deal treacherously, And the treacherous deal very treacherously."
  2. Terror and pit and snare Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth.
  3. Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit, And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.
  4. The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently.
  5. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard And it totters like a shack, For its transgression is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.
  1. 땅 끝에서 노래가 울려 퍼진다. "정의로 사는 나라에 영광 있어라." 그러나 나는 외쳤다. "큰일났다! 큰일났다! 이 일을 어쩌나? 배반자들이 끝내 배신하였구나. 배반자들이 음모를 꾸며 배신하였구나."
  2. 땅에 사는 사람들아! 무서운 일이 네 위에 떨어진다. 함정과 올가미가 너를 노린다.
  3. 무서워 지르는 비명에 도망치는 자는 함정에 빠지리라. 함정에서 올라오는 자는 올가미에 걸리리라.
  4. 땅이 마구 무너진다. 땅이 마구 갈라진다. 땅이 마구 뒤흔들린다.
  5. 땅이 주정꾼처럼 비틀거린다. 원두막처럼 흔들린다. 제가 지은 죄에 눌려 쓰러진다. 쓰러져서는 다시 일어나지 못한다.
  1. So it will happen in that day, That the LORD will punish the host of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.
  2. They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.
  3. Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed, For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders.
  1. 그 날 야훼께서 저 높은 곳에 있는 하늘의 군대를 벌하시리라. 이 땅에 있는 세상의 제왕들을 처벌하시리라.
  2. 모두 끌어다가 땅굴 속에 가두시고 오래 감금해 두셨다가 처벌하시리라.
  3. 만군의 야훼께서 시온 산, 예루살렘에서 왕이 되시고 당신의 장로들 앞에서 영광을 받으실 때에 달은 창백해지고 해는 부끄러워 얼굴을 붉히리라.
 
  감사의 찬양(25:1-25:12)    
 
  1. O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.
  2. For You have made a city into a heap, A fortified city into a ruin; A palace of strangers is a city no more, It will never be rebuilt.
  3. Therefore a strong people will glorify You; Cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
  4. For You have been a defense for the helpless, A defense for the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless Is like a rain storm against a wall.
  5. Like heat in drought, You subdue the uproar of aliens; Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is silenced.
  1. 당신은 야훼, 나의 하느님, 내가 당신을 우러러 받드옵니다. 내가 당신의 이름을 기리옵니다. 당신은 예전에 정하신 놀라운 뜻을 이루셨습니다. 신실하게 변함없이 그 뜻을 이루셨습니다.
  2. 거만한 자들의 도시를 돌무더기로 만드셨습니다. 그 요새화된 도읍은 이제 터만 남았습니다. 그들의 성루는 도시라고 할 수도 없이 허물어져 영원히 재건되지 아니할 것입니다.
  3. 그리하여 강한 백성이 당신께 영광을 돌리고 포악한 민족들의 도시가 당신을 두려워하게 되었습니다.
  4. 당신은 영세민에게 도움이 되어주시고 고생하는 빈민에게 힘이 되어주십니다. 소나기를 피할 곳, 더위를 막는 그늘이 되어주십니다. 포악한 자들의 화풀이는 겨울 폭우와 같으나
  5. 마른 땅을 햇볕이 마구 태우듯이, 그 거만한 자들의 소란을 당신께서는 억누르십니다. 구름이 더위를 가려 스러지게 하듯이, 그 포악한 자들의 노래를 당신께서는 막으십니다.
  1. The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.
  2. And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.
  3. He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.
  4. And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us This is the LORD for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation."
  5. For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain, And Moab will be trodden down in his place As straw is trodden down in the water of a manure pile.
  1. 이 산 위에서 만군의 야훼, 모든 민족에게 잔치를 차려주시리라. 살진 고기를 굽고 술을 잘 익히고 연한 살코기를 볶고 술을 맑게 걸러 잔치를 차려주시리라.
  2. 이 산 위에서 모든 백성들의 얼굴을 가리던 너울을 찢으시리라. 모든 민족들을 덮었던 보자기를 찢으시리라.
  3. 그리고 죽음을 영원히 없애버리시리라. 야훼, 나의 주께서 모든 사람의 얼굴에서 눈물을 닦아주시고, 당신 백성의 수치를 온 세상에서 벗겨주시리라. 이것은 야훼께서 하신 약속이다.
  4. 그 날 이렇게들 말하리라. "이분이 우리 하느님이시다. 구원해 주시리라 믿고 기다리던 우리 하느님이시다. 이분이 야훼시다. 우리가 믿고 기다리던 야훼시다. 기뻐하고 노래하며 즐거워하자. 그가 우리를 구원하셨다.
  5. 야훼께서 몸소 이 산을 지켜주신다." 검불이 거름 구덩이에서 짓밟히듯이 모압은 제가 서 있는 자리에서 짓밟힌다.
  1. And he will spread out his hands in the middle of it As a swimmer spreads out his hands to swim, But the Lord will lay low his pride together with the trickery of his hands.
  2. The unassailable fortifications of your walls He will bring down, Lay low and cast to the ground, even to the dust.
  1. 헤엄치는 자가 손을 내뻗듯이 그 속에서 손을 내뻗는다. 그러나 야훼께서 그 거만을 억누르신다. 허우적거리는 그 손을 짓누르신다.
  2. 높고 튼튼한 그 성벽을 무너뜨리신다. 헐어내려 먼지 바닥에 던지신다.
