이사야 51:1-52:15

 이사야는 하나님께서 불의한 세상을 심판하시고 시온을 회복시키실 것을 예언하였다. 또한 하나님의 위로와 구원을 불신하고 세상 권세를 두려워하는 이스라엘 백성들을 질책하면서 백성들의 영적 각성을 촉구하였다. 그리고 사랑의 하나님께서 때가 이르면 이스라엘을 포로에서 해방시켜 구원을 베푸실 것이라는 소망의 말씀을 선포하였다.
  
  시온을 위한 구원(51:1-51:16)    
 
  1. "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn And to the quarry from which you were dug.
  2. "Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; When he was but one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him."
  3. Indeed, the LORD will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places And her wilderness He will make like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.
  4. "Pay attention to Me, O My people, And give ear to Me, O My nation; For a law will go forth from Me, And I will set My justice for a light of the peoples.
  5. "My righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth, And My arms will judge the peoples; The coastlands will wait for Me, And for My arm they will wait expectantly.
  1. "나의 말을 들어라. 정의를 추구하고 야훼를 찾는 자들아. 너희를 떼어낸 바위를 우러러보고 너희를 파낸 동굴을 쳐다보아라.
  2. 너희 조상 아브라함을 우러러보고 너희를 낳아준 사라를 쳐다보아라. 내가 부를 때 그는 혼자였으나 나는 그에게 복을 내려 자손이 번성하게 하였다.
  3. 그렇다, 야훼가 시온을 불쌍하게 보고 다 허물어진 그 모습을 가엾게 여기리라. 그리하여 그 황무지를 에덴처럼 만들고 그 벌판을 야훼의 동산처럼 만들어 흥겨움과 즐거움이 넘치고 감사의 노랫가락이 울려 퍼지게 하리라.
  4. 뭇 백성들아, 똑바로 나를 쳐다보아라. 부족들아, 내 말에 귀를 기울여라. 훈계가 나에게서 나간다. 나의 법이 뭇 백성의 빛이 되리라.
  5. 내가 세울 정의가 홀연히 닥쳐오고 내가 베풀 구원이 빛처럼 쏟아져 오리라. 내가 팔을 휘둘러 뭇 백성을 재판하면, 바닷가 주민이 나에게 희망을 두고 나의 팔에 기대를 걸리라.
  1. "Lift up your eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not wane.
  2. "Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, A people in whose heart is My law; Do not fear the reproach of man, Nor be dismayed at their revilings.
  3. "For the moth will eat them like a garment, And the grub will eat them like wool But My righteousness will be forever, And My salvation to all generations."
  4. Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; Awake as in the days of old, the generations of long ago Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces, Who pierced the dragon?
  5. Was it not You who dried up the sea, The waters of the great deep; Who made the depths of the sea a pathway For the redeemed to cross over?
  1. 눈을 들어 하늘을 바라보아라. 땅을 굽어보아라. 하늘은 연기처럼 스러지고, 땅은 옷처럼 해어져 주민이 하루살이처럼 꺼지리라. 그러나 내가 베풀 구원은 영원하고 내가 세울 정의는 넘어지지 않는다.
  2. 나의 말을 들어라. 정의를 익히 아는 자들아, 나의 훈계를 마음속 깊이 간직하는 자들아. 사람들의 욕설을 두려워하지 마라. 비방을 받더라도 낙담하지 마라.
  3. 그들은 좀에 쓸려 떨어지는 옷이요, 빈대좀에 먹혀 삭아지는 양털이다. 내가 세울 정의는 영원하고 내가 베풀 구원은 대대에 미친다."
  4. 야훼여, 당신의 팔을 벌떡 일으키십시오. 그 팔에 힘을 내십시오. 옛날 옛적에 하셨듯이 팔을 일으키십시오. 라합을 찢던 그 팔을, 용을 찔러 죽이던 그 팔을 일으키십시오.
  5. 바다 깊은 물구렁을 말리던 그 팔을, 깊은 바다에 길을 내어 구원받은 백성을 건너게 하던 그 팔을 일으키십시오.
  1. So the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, And everlasting joy will be on their heads They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
  2. "I, even I, am He who comforts you Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies And of the son of man who is made like grass,
  3. That you have forgotten the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? But where is the fury of the oppressor?
  4. "The exile will soon be set free, and will not die in the dungeon, nor will his bread be lacking.
  5. "For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea and its waves roar (the LORD of hosts is His name).
  1. 야훼께서 구해 내신 백성이 돌아올 것입니다. 환성을 올리며 시온으로 돌아올 것입니다. 즐거움이 길이 머리 위를 감돌고, 흥겨움과 즐거움을 주체할 수 없으리니 걱정과 한숨은 이내 스러질 것입니다.
  2. "너희를 위로할 자, 나밖에 또 누가 있으랴? 어찌하여 너희는 죽을 인생을 겁내느냐? 말라버릴 풀 같은 인생을 겁내느냐?
  3. 너희가 잊었구나, 너희를 지은 이, 하늘을 펼치고 땅을 세운 야훼를. 때려부술 듯이 화를 내며 너희를 괴롭히던 자들이 두려워 너희는 부들부들 떨고만 있었지. 그런데 그 화를 내며 너희를 괴롭히던 자들이 지금은 모두 어디 있느냐?
  4. 사슬에 묶인 자들이 곧 풀려나고 땅굴에서 살아 나오며 양식도 떨어지지 아니하리라.
  5. 나 야훼가 너희 하느님이다. 파도 소리도 요란하게 바다를 뒤흔드는, 나의 이름은 만군의 야훼이다.
  1. "I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, 'You are My people.'"
  1. 나는 너희 입에 나의 말을 담아주고 나의 손그늘에 너희를 숨겨준다. 하늘을 펴고 땅을 세우면서 시온을 향해 선포한다. '너는 나의 백성이다.'"
 
  회개 촉구와 구원 선포(51:17-52:15)    
 
  1. Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the LORD'S hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.
  2. There is none to guide her among all the sons she has borne, Nor is there one to take her by the hand among all the sons she has reared.
  3. These two things have befallen you; Who will mourn for you? The devastation and destruction, famine and sword; How shall I comfort you?
  4. Your sons have fainted, They lie helpless at the head of every street, Like an antelope in a net, Full of the wrath of the LORD, The rebuke of your God.
  5. Therefore, please hear this, you afflicted, Who are drunk, but not with wine:
  1. 깨어라, 깨어라. 너 야훼의 손에서 진노의 잔을 받아 마신 예루살렘아, 일어나거라. 네가 그 어지럽게 하는 술잔을 들이켰구나.
  2. 제가 낳은 모든 자식들 중에 저를 인도해 줄 자가 하나도 없고 제 손으로 길러낸 자식들 중에 손으로 잡아주는 자 하나도 없는 신세,
  3. 네가 이 두 가지 봉변을 당하였건만 누가 있어 너를 동정하더냐? 침략과 파괴, 기근과 전쟁을 겪었지만 누가 있어 너를 위로하더냐?
  4. 너의 자식들은 야훼의 크신 노여움을 사, 네 하느님의 책망을 듣고, 마치 그물에 걸린 노루처럼 거리의 모퉁이마다 맥없이 쓰러져 있구나.
  5. 그러니, 내 말을 들어라. 이 불쌍한 것아. 네가 술도 먹지 아니하고 비틀거리는구나.
  1. Thus says your Lord, the LORD, even your God Who contends for His people, "Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of reeling, The chalice of My anger; You will never drink it again.
  2. "I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, Who have said to you, 'Lie down that we may walk over you.' You have even made your back like the ground And like the street for those who walk over it."
  1. 당신의 백성을 감싸주시는, 너희 하느님, 너의 주, 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "보아라, 내가 네 손에서 어지럽게 하는 그 술잔을 거두리라. 나의 진노의 잔을 거두리니 네가 다시는 마시지 아니하리라.
  2. 내가 그 잔을 너를 괴롭히던 자들의 손에 넘겨주리라. '땅에 엎드려라. 우리가 디디고 지나가겠다.' 너에게 이렇게 기막힌 소리를 하며 너의 등을 땅바닥 밟듯 밟고 길바닥처럼 디디고 지나가던 자들의 손에 그 잔을 넘겨주리라."
 
 
  1. Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you.
  2. Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
  3. For thus says the LORD, "You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money."
  4. For thus says the Lord GOD, "My people went down at the first into Egypt to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
  5. "Now therefore, what do I have here," declares the LORD, "seeing that My people have been taken away without cause?" Again the LORD declares, "Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long.
  1. 깨어라, 깨어라. 너 시온아, 힘을 내어라. 찬란하게 몸을 단장하여라. 거룩한 도성, 예루살렘아! 할례받지 않은 자와 부정한 자가 다시는 너에게 들지 못하리라.
  2. 먼지를 털고 일어나거라. 포로가 되었던 예루살렘아! 너의 목에서 쇠사슬을 끌러버려라. 포로가 되었던 내 딸 시온아!
  3. 그렇다, 야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희가 값없이 팔려갔으니, 너희를 물러내는 데 돈을 내야 할 까닭이 없다."
  4. 그렇다, 주 야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "나의 백성이 처음에는 이집트로 몸붙일 곳을 찾아 내려갔었고, 나중에는 아시리아한테 억눌려 큰 고생을 하였다.
  5. 그런데 내가 이러고만 있을 때가 아니지." 야훼의 말씀이시다. "나의 백성은 억울하게 붙들려가 고생하고, 그들을 마구 부려먹는 자들은 개가를 부르는데," 야훼의 말씀이시다. "나의 이름은 날이면 날마다 멸시당하고 있구나.
  1. "Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, 'Here I am.'"
  2. How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
  3. Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, They shout joyfully together; For they will see with their own eyes When the LORD restores Zion.
  4. Break forth, shout joyfully together, You waste places of Jerusalem; For the LORD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.
  5. The LORD has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.
  1. 이제 나의 이름을 내 백성에게 알려주리라. 그 날 그들은 깨달으리라. '나 여기 있다.' 하고 말한 것이 바로 나임을."
  2. 반가워라, 기쁜 소식을 안고 산등성이를 달려오는 저 발길이여. 평화가 왔다고 외치며, 희소식을 전하는구나. 구원이 이르렀다고 외치며 "너희 하느님께서 왕권을 잡으셨다."고 시온을 향해 이르는구나.
  3. 들어라, 저 소리, 보초의 외치는 소리. 시온으로 돌아오시는 야훼와 눈이 마주쳐 모두 함께 환성을 올리는구나.
  4. 예루살렘의 무너진 집터들아, 기쁜 소리로 함께 외쳐라. 야훼께서 당신의 백성을 위로하시고 예루살렘을 도로 찾으신다.
  5. 야훼께서 만국 앞에서 그 무서운 팔을 걷어붙이시니, 세상 구석구석이 우리 하느님의 승리를 보리라.
  1. Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD.
  2. But you will not go out in haste, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
  3. Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.
  4. Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.
  5. Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand.
  1. 어서 떠나거라. 어서 빠져 나가거라. 부정한 것은 아예 건드리지도 마라. 야훼의 그릇들을 받들고 갈 자들아, 부정을 탈까 두렵다, 어서 나가거라.
  2. 그러나 너희는 쫓기듯 나가지도 말고 도망치듯 달아나지도 마라. 야훼께서 앞장서신다. 이스라엘의 하느님께서 너희를 호위하신다.
  3. "이제 나의 종은 할 일을 다 하였으니, 높이높이 솟아오르리라.
  4. 무리가 그를 보고 기막혀 했었지. 그의 몰골은 망가져 사람이라고 할 수가 없었고 인간의 모습은 찾아볼 수가 없었다.
  5. 이제 만방은 그를 보고 놀라지 않을 수 없고 제왕들조차 그 앞에서 입을 가리리라. 이런 일은 일찍이 눈으로 본 사람도 없고 귀로 들어본 사람도 없다."
 
  라합( 51:9)  하나님께 대적하는 세력을 상징함. 여기서는 애굽을 가리킴
