- 사람이 많은 계획을 세워도 성사는 야훼의 뜻에 달렸다.
- 돈 싫다는 사람 있으랴만 거짓말쟁이 되는 것보다 가난한 편이 낫다.
- 야훼를 경외해야 살 길이 열려, 먹고 쉬는 데 아쉬움 없고 재앙을 면한다.
