에스겔 36:16-37:28

 하나님께서는 이스라엘이 우상 숭배 죄로 인해 징계를 받아 여러 나라에 흩어져 비참한 생활을 하게 되었지만 하나님의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 그들을 회복시키시겠다고 약속하셨다. 하나님께서는 마른 뼈들이 부활되는 환상을 통해 이스라엘의 회복을 확증하셨고, 두 막대기를 하나로 연합시키는 상징적 행위를 통해 이스라엘과 유다가 연합될 것을 보여 주셨다. 다윗의 왕국이 영원할 것과 그들이 야웨의 백성이 될 것도 약속하셨다.
  
  이스라엘의 회복(36:16-36:38)    
 
  1. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, when the house of Israel was living in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
  3. "Therefore I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols.
  4. "Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
  5. "When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD; yet they have come out of His land.'
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 이스라엘 족속은 고국에 살고 있을 때, 고약한 짓들을 해서 그 땅을 부정하게 만들었다. 내가 보기에 그 하는 짓이 월경하는 여인처럼 부정하였다.
  3. 땅에 피를 흘리고 우상을 섬기느라고 땅을 부정하게 만들어 나의 울화를 터뜨렸다.
  4. 그래서 그들을 뭇 민족들 가운데 흐트러뜨려 여러 나라에 쫓아보냈다. 못된 짓을 한 만큼 그들을 벌한 것이다.
  5. 그들은 가는 곳곳에서 뭇 민족들에게 욕을 먹었다. '이것이 야훼의 백성이란 것들인가, 그에게 받은 땅에서 쫓겨났구나.' 이런 말을 듣게끔 행동하여 거룩한 나의 이름을 욕되게 만들었다.
  1. "But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
  2. "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
  3. "I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst Then the nations will know that I am the LORD," declares the Lord GOD, "when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.
  4. "For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land.
  5. "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
  1. 이스라엘 족속은 가는 곳곳에서 나의 거룩한 이름이 뭇 민족에게 멸시를 받게 했지만 그러나 나는 내 명예를 회복하고야 말리라.
  2. 그러니 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 일러라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 이스라엘 족속아, 나는 너희 때문이 아니라 너희가 가는 곳곳에서 뭇 민족에게 멸시를 받게 한 거룩한 내 이름 때문에 행동할 것이다.
  3. 너희는 내 이름을 뭇 민족에게 멸시받게 했지만 나는 야훼다. 내 이름이 다시는 멸시를 받지 않고 오히려 들날리게 하리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다. 너희에게서 나의 거룩함을 드러내면, 뭇 민족은 이를 보고 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라.
  4. 내가 너희를 뭇 민족 가운데서 데려내오고 모든 나라에서 모아 고국으로 데려다가
  5. 정화수를 끼얹어 너희의 모든 부정을 깨끗이 씻어주리라. 온갖 우상을 섬기는 중에 묻었던 때를 깨끗이 씻어주고
  1. "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
  2. "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
  3. "You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.
  4. "Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not bring a famine on you.
  5. "I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations.
  1. 새 마음을 넣어주며 새 기운을 불어넣어 주리라. 너희 몸에서 돌처럼 굳은 마음을 도려내고 살처럼 부드러운 마음을 넣어주리라.
  2. 나의 기운을 너희 속에 넣어주리니, 그리 되면 너희는 내가 세워준 규정을 따라 살 수 있고 나에게서 받은 법도를 실천할 수 있게 되리라.
  3. 너희는 내가 너희 조상들에게 준 땅에서 살면서 나의 백성이 될 것이요 나는 너희의 하느님이 될 것이다.
  4. 더러운 짓을 하다가 망할 수밖에 없이 된 너희를 나는 건져내겠다. 내가 곡식을 불러오리니, 풍년이 들어 다시는 굶주리는 일이 없으리라.
  5. 그래서 나무에는 열매가 주렁주렁 열리고 밭에서는 소출이 많이 나리라. 그리하면 기근 때문에 뭇 민족들에게 수치를 받는 일이 없으리라.
  1. "Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and your abominations.
  2. "I am not doing this for your sake," declares the Lord GOD, "let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!"
  3. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places will be rebuilt.
  4. "The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by.
  5. "They will say, 'This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.'
  1. 그제야 너희는 못된 짓을 하고 좋지 못한 일을 했던 것이 기억되어, 왜 그런 못된 짓을 하고 역겨운 짓을 했던가 싶어 얼굴을 붉히게 될 것이다.
  2. 내가 너희를 잘 대접해 주겠지만, 그것은 너희가 훌륭하기 때문이거니 생각하지 마라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다. 이스라엘 족속아, 너희의 행실을 부끄러워하고 수치스러이 여겨라.
  3. 주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 너희의 모든 죄악을 씻어 너희를 깨끗하게 해주는 날, 그 날에 폐허가 되었던 성읍들을 재건하게 하리라.
  4. 황폐한 쑥밭이 된 것을 오가는 사람마다 보았으나, 그 곳이 다시 경작될 것이다.
  5. 사람들이 말하기를, 그렇게 털렸지만 에덴 동산처럼 되었구나, 털리고 헐려 폐허가 되었지만 그 성읍들이 수축되어 다시 사람이 살게 되었구나, 할 것이다.
  1. "Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I, the LORD, have spoken and will do it."
  2. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock.
  3. "Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so will the waste cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the LORD."'"
  1. 너희 주위에 남아 있던 민족들은 그 헐린 곳을 다시 세우고 그 쑥밭에 과수를 심는 것이 바로 나 야훼임을 알게 되리라. 나 야훼가 선언하였다. 반드시 그대로 하리라.
  2. 주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 이스라엘 족속의 청을 받아들여, 그들을 양떼처럼 불어나게 하리라.
  3. 축제일에 제물로 바칠 양떼가 예루살렘에 몰려들 듯이 폐허가 되었던 성읍들이 사람들로 가득 차게 하리라. 그제야 사람들은 내가 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다.'"
 
  마른 뼈들의 부활(37:1-37:14)    
 
  1. The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.
  2. He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry.
  3. He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know."
  4. Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.'
  5. "Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.
  1. 야훼께서 손으로 나를 잡으시자 야훼의 기운이 나를 밖으로 이끌어내셨다. 그래서 들 한가운데 이끌려 나가보니 거기에 뼈들이 가득히 널려 있는 것이었다.
  2. 그분이 나를 그리로 두루 돌아다니게 하셨다. 그 들바닥에는 뼈들이 굉장히 많았는데 그것들은 모두 말라 있었다.
  3. 그분이 나에게 말씀하셨다. "너 사람아, 이 뼈들이 살아날 것 같으냐?" 내가 "주 야훼여, 당신께서 아시옵니다." 하고 아뢰니,
  4. 그분이 또 나에게 말씀하셨다. "이 뼈들에게 내 말을 전하여라. '마른 뼈들아, 이 야훼의 말을 들어라.
  5. 뼈들에게 주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 너희 속에 숨을 불어넣어 너희를 살리리라.
  1. 'I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the LORD.'"
  2. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
  3. And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
  4. Then He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life."'"
  5. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
  1. 너희에게 힘줄을 이어놓고 살을 붙이고 가죽을 씌우고 숨을 불어넣어 너희를 살리면, 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라.'"
  2. 나는 분부하신 대로 말씀을 전하였다. 내가 말씀을 전하는 동안 뼈들이 움직이며 서로 붙는 소리가 났다.
  3. 내가 바라보고 있는 가운데 뼈들에게 힘줄이 이어졌고 살이 붙었으며 가죽이 씌워졌다. 그러나 아직 숨쉬는 기척은 없었다.
  4. 야훼께서 나에게 또 말씀하셨다. "숨을 향해 내 말을 전하여라. 너 사람아, 숨을 향해 내 말을 전하여라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 숨아, 사방에서 불어와서 이 죽은 자들을 스쳐 살아나게 하여라.'"
  5. 나는 분부하신 대로 말씀을 전하였다. 숨이 불어왔다. 그러자 모두들 살아나 제 발로 일어서서 굉장히 큰 무리를 이루었다.
  1. Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished We are completely cut off.'
  2. "Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.
  3. "Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people.
  4. "I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it," declares the LORD.'"
  1. 그러자 그분은 나에게 말씀하셨다. "너 사람아, 이 뼈들은 이스라엘의 온 족속이다. 뼈는 마르고, 희망은 사라져 끝장이 났다고 넋두리하던 것들이다.
  2. 이제 너는 이들에게 나의 말을 전하여라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 나 이제 무덤을 열고 내 백성이었던 너희를 그 무덤에서 끌어올려 이스라엘 고국 땅으로 데리고 가리라.
  3. 내가 이렇게 무덤을 열고 내 백성이었던 너희를 무덤에서 끌어올리면, 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라.
  4. 내가 너희에게 나의 기운을 불어넣어 살려내어 너희로 하여금 고국에 가서 살게 하리라. 그제야 너희는 나 야훼가 한번 선언한 것을 그대로 이루고야 만다는 사실을 알 것이다. 야훼가 하는 말이다.'"
 
  이스라엘의 통치(37:15-37:28)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came again to me saying,
  2. "And you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it, 'For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions'; then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.'
  3. "Then join them for yourself one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
  4. "When the sons of your people speak to you saying, 'Will you not declare to us what you mean by these?'
  5. say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand."'
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 나무 막대기 하나를 취하여 그 위에 '유다와 그와 한편이 된 이스라엘 백성'이라고 써라. 또 다른 나무 막대기 하나를 취하여 그 위에 '요셉, 에브라임의 막대기와 그와 한편이 된 이스라엘의 온 족속'이라고 써라.
  3. 그리고 이 둘을 붙여서 한 막대기로 만들어라. 둘이 하나가 되게 잡고 있어라.
  4. 네 겨레가 너에게 막대기가 저희와 무슨 관계가 있는지 알려달라고 묻거든
  5. 이렇게 일러주어라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 나 이제 에브라임 수중에 있는 요셉과 그와 한편이 된 이스라엘 지파의 이름을 쓴 나무 막대기를 유다의 이름을 쓴 나무 막대기에 붙여 한 막대기로 만들리라. 둘이 하나가 되게 내가 잡고 있으리라.'
  1. "The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.
  2. "Say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;
  3. and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
  4. "They will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people, and I will be their God.
  5. "My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them.
  1. 네 손으로 이름을 쓴 그 나무 막대기들을 사람들 보는 앞에서 들고,
  2. 사람들에게 일러주어라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 여기저기 흩어져 있는 이스라엘 백성을 나 이제 뭇 민족들 가운데서 이끌어내리라. 사방에서 모아 고국으로 데려오리라.
  3. 그들을 나의 땅 이스라엘 산악 지대에서 한 민족으로 묶고 한 임금을 세워 다스리게 하리니, 다시는 두 민족으로 갈리지 않을 것이다. 다시는 반으로 갈라져 두 나라가 되지 않을 것이다.
  4. 그리고 나를 거역하여 온갖 죄를 지으며 보기에도 역겨운 우상들을 섬겨 몸을 더럽히는 일이 다시는 없을 것이다. 배신하여 온갖 탈선 행위에 빠졌던 그들을 건져 정하게 해주리니, 그들은 다시 나의 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 하느님이 되리라.
  5. 그들을 낱낱이 보살필 목자는 하나뿐, 그들의 임금은 나의 종 다윗이 있을 뿐이다. 사람들은 모두 내가 내린 법도를 따라 걷고 내가 정해 준 규정을 따라 살 것이다.
  1. "They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons' sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever.
  2. "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.
  3. "My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.
  4. "And the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever."'"
  1. 내가 나의 종 야곱에게 준 땅, 조상들이 살던 땅에서 그들이 살게 될 것이다. 자자손손, 길이 그 땅에 사는데 나의 종 다윗이 길이 그들의 수령이 될 것이다.
  2. 나는 그들과 평화의 계약을 맺을 것이다. 그들과 맺은 이 계약은 영원히 깨지지 아니하리라. 나는 그들을 불어나게 하고 나의 성소를 영원히 그들 가운데 둘 것이다.
  3. 나는 나의 집을 그들 가운데 둘 것이다. 나는 그들의 하느님이 되고 그들은 나의 백성이 되리라.
  4. 내가 이스라엘 가운데 영원히 나의 성소를 두면 그제야 이스라엘을 세상에서 구별해 낸 것이 나 야훼임을 뭇 민족은 알게 되리라.'"
