- How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
- But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
- He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.
- The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
- Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

- 복 있는 사람은 악한 자들의 말을 듣지 않고 죄인들을 본받지 않으며 하나님을 조롱하는 자들과 어울리지 않고
- 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하며 그 율법을 밤낮 묵상하는 자이다.
- 그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 철을 따라 과실을 맺고 그 잎이 마르지 않는 것처럼 하는 일마다 다 잘 될 것이다.
- 그러나 악인들은 그렇지 않으니 그들은 바람에 나는 겨와 같을 뿐이다.
- 그러므로 악인들이 심판 날에 무사하지 못하고 죄인들이 의로운 자들 가운데 서지 못할 것이다.
