신명기 11:1-12:28

 모세는 하나님의 규례와 법도를 지키는 자가 받을 복과 거역하는 자가 받을 저주에 대해 말하고 이것을 가나안 땅의 그리심 산과 에발 산에서 선포할 것을 명했다. 또한 그는 백성들에게 가나안에 정착한 후 우상을 타파하고, 오직 하나님이 택하신 곳에서 제물을 드리며, 그 곳에서 제물을 먹되 피는 먹지 말 것을 명령했다.
  
  말씀 순종에 따른 복과 저주(11:1-11:32)    
 
  1. "You shall therefore love the LORD your God, and always keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.
  2. "Know this day that I am not speaking with your sons who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God--His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm,
  3. and His signs and His works which He did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt and to all his land;
  4. and what He did to Egypt's army, to its horses and its chariots, when He made the water of the Red Sea to engulf them while they were pursuing you, and the LORD completely destroyed them;
  5. and what He did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;
  1. '그러므로 여러분은 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그분이 명령하시는 모든 법과 규정을 언제나 잘 지켜야 합니다.
  2. 여러분은 지금까지의 경험으로 얻은 교훈을 기억하십시오. 나는 여러분이 겪은 것을 보지도 못했고 알지도 못하는 여러분의 자녀들에게 말하는 것이 아닙니다. 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 위대하심과 그분의 힘과 능력과
  3. 기적을 직접 목격한 것은 바로 여러분입니다. 여러분은 여호와께서 이집트의 바로 왕과 그 모든 백성에게 행하신 것을 보았으며
  4. 또 이집트 군대가 여러분을 추격할 때 여호와께서 그들을 홍해물로 덮어 말과 전차와 함께 그들을 전멸시킨 일도 보았습니다.
  5. 그리고 여러분이 이 곳에 오기 전까지 여호와께서 광야에서 하신 일을 여러분은 알고 있으며
  1. and what He did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, among all Israel--
  2. but your own eyes have seen all the great work of the LORD which He did.
  3. "You shall therefore keep every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land into which you are about to cross to possess it;
  4. so that you may prolong your days on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
  5. "For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden.
  1. 르우벤의 후손인 엘리압의 아들 다단과 아비람에게 행하신 일도 여러분은 잘 기억하고 있습니다. 그때 모든 사람들이 보는 앞에서 땅이 입을 벌려 그들과 그 가족과 그들의 천막과 그들의 종들과 짐승들을 모조리 삼켜 버렸습니다.
  2. 여러분은 여호와께서 행하신 이 모든 일을 직접 목격한 자들입니다.
  3. 그러므로 여러분은 오늘 내가 여러분에게 명령하는 모든 것을 지키십시오. 그러면 여러분이 힘을 얻어 요단강을 건너가서 여러분이 들어갈 땅을 점령하게 될 것입니다.
  4. 그리고 여호와께서 여러분의 조상들에게 약속하신 기름지고 비옥한 땅에서 여러분이 길이길이 복을 누리며 살게 될 것입니다.
  5. 여러분이 들어가서 점령할 땅은 여러분이 전에 살던 이집트 땅과 같은 것이 아닙니다. 거기서는 여러분이 밭에 물을 대느라고 많은 고생을 하였습니다.
  1. "But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,
  2. a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
  3. "It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul,
  4. that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil.
  5. "He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.
  1. 그러나 여러분이 들어가 차지할 땅은 빗물을 흡수할 수 있는 산과 계곡이 많은 땅이며
  2. 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 일년 내내 보살피고 지켜 주시는 땅입니다.
  3. 오늘 내가 여러분에게 명령하는 모든 것을 충실히 지키고 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하며 마음을 다하고 정성을 다하여 그분을 섬기면
  4. 여호와께서 여러분의 땅에 철을 따라 적당한 비를 내려 곡식과 포도주와 감람기름이 풍족하게 하시고
  5. 여러분의 가축을 위해 풀을 자라게 하실 것입니다. 그리고 여러분에게는 먹을 것이 풍부할 것입니다.
  1. "Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away and serve other gods and worship them.
  2. "Or the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you.
  3. "You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
  4. "You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.
  5. "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
  1. 여러분은 여호와를 떠나 다른 신들을 섬기지 않도록 조심하십시오.
  2. 그렇지 않으면 여호와께서 여러분에게 분노하여 하늘에서 비를 내리지 않으시고 농작물이 자라지 않게 하실 것입니다. 그러면 여러분은 여호와께서 주신 좋은 땅에서 속히 망하게 될 것입니다.
  3. 그러므로 여러분은 이 명령들을 마음에 소중히 간직하고 또 이것을 여러분의 손과 이마에 매달아 항상 기억하십시오.
  4. 그리고 여러분은 이것을 여러분의 자녀들에게 가르치고 집에 있을 때나 길을 갈 때나 잠자리에 들 때나 아침에 일어날 때나 이것에 대하여 항상 이야기하고
  5. 또 여러분의 집 문기둥과 문에 이 말씀을 기록해 두십시오.
  1. so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.
  2. "For if you are careful to keep all this commandment which I am commanding you to do, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and hold fast to Him,
  3. then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess nations greater and mightier than you.
  4. "Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; your border will be from the wilderness to Lebanon, and from the river, the river Euphrates, as far as the western sea.
  5. "No man will be able to stand before you; the LORD your God will lay the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land on which you set foot, as He has spoken to you.
  1. 그러면 천지가 없어지지 않는 한 여러분과 여러분의 자손들은 여호와께서 여러분의 조상들에게 약속하신 땅에서 길이길이 복을 누리며 살게 될 것입니다.
  2. 여러분이 만일 내가 명령하는 모든 것을 충실히 지키고 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하며 그분의 뜻대로 살고 그분에게 충성하면
  3. 여호와께서 모든 이방 민족을 여러분 앞에서 다 쫓아내실 것이며 여러분은 여러분보다 훨씬 크고 강한 민족의 땅을 점령하게 될 것입니다.
  4. 여러분이 밟는 곳마다 다 여러분의 땅이 될 것이며 여러분의 영토는 남쪽 광야에서부터 북쪽 레바논까지와 동쪽 유프라테스강에서부터 서쪽 지중해까지입니다.
  5. 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서는 약속하신 대로 여러분이 어디로 가든지 모든 사람들이 여러분을 두려워하고 무서워하게 하실 것입니다. 그러므로 아무도 여러분을 대항할 수 없을 것입니다.
  1. "See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:
  2. the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I am commanding you today;
  3. and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I am commanding you today, by following other gods which you have not known.
  4. "It shall come about, when the LORD your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it, that you shall place the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
  5. "Are they not across the Jordan, west of the way toward the sunset, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?
  1. 나는 오늘 여러분이 선택할 복과 저주를 제시합니다.
  2. 만일 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 명령에 순종하면 복을 받을 것이지만
  3. 여러분이 이 명령을 거역하고 여러분이 알지 못하는 다른 신을 섬기면 저주를 받을 것입니다.
  4. 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분을 인도하여 약속의 땅으로 들어가게 하실 때 여러분은 그리심산에서 축복을 선포하고 에발산에서 저주를 선포하시오.
  5. 이 두 산은 아라바에 살고 있는 가나안 사람의 영토인 요단강 서쪽에 있는데 그 곳은 길갈 부근의 모레 상수나무에서 멀지 않은 도로 서쪽에 위치해 있습니다.
  1. "For you are about to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you, and you shall possess it and live in it,
  2. and you shall be careful to do all the statutes and the judgments which I am setting before you today.
  1. 이제 여러분은 곧 요단강을 건너가서 여호와께서 여러분에게 주시는 땅을 점령하게 될 것입니다. 여러분이 그 땅에 들어가 살게 될 때
  2. 여러분은 오늘 내가 여러분에게 전하는 모든 법과 규정을 반드시 지켜야 합니다.'
 
  하나님께 예배드릴 처소(12:1-12:28)    
 
  1. "These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully observe in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess as long as you live on the earth.
  2. "You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree.
  3. "You shall tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place.
  4. "You shall not act like this toward the LORD your God.
  5. "But you shall seek the LORD at the place which the LORD your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and there you shall come.
  1. '여러분 조상의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 주신 땅에서 여러분이 사는 동안 지켜야 할 법과 규정은 다음과 같습니다.
  2. 여러분이 쫓아낼 민족들이 우상을 섬기는 곳은 높은 산이건 야산이건 푸른 나무 아래건 어느 곳이든지 다 없애 버리십시오.
  3. 여러분은 그들의 제단을 헐고 돌기둥의 상을 부숴 버리며 아세라 여신상을 불태우고 그 밖의 우상들을 찍어 없애 버리십시오. 그래서 그 우상들의 이름조차 기억하는 자가 없게 하십시오.
  4. 여러분은 그들이 우상을 섬기는 방법으로 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 섬겨서는 안 됩니다.
  5. 여호와께서는 여러분의 모든 지파 땅 중에서 여러분이 그분을 섬길 수 있는 한 곳을 택하실 것입니다.
  1. "There you shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the contribution of your hand, your votive offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.
  2. "There also you and your households shall eat before the LORD your God, and rejoice in all your undertakings in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
  3. "You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes;
  4. for you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the LORD your God is giving you.
  5. "When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security,
  1. 여러분은 그 곳으로 찾아가서 불로 태워 바치는 번제와 그 밖의 다른 번제와 십일조와 특별 예물과 서약을 지키는 서원제와 자발적으로 드리는 낙헌제와 소나 양의 첫태생을 가져가서 드리십시오.
  2. 그리고 거기서 여러분은 여러분의 하나님 여호와 앞에서 가족들과 함께 음식을 먹고 모든 일에 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 축복하신 것을 기뻐하십시오.
  3. 여러분이 지금까지는 모든 일을 마음대로 하였으나 거기 가서는 그렇게 하지 마십시오.
  4. 여러분이 아직 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 안식할 땅에 들어가지 않았지만
  5. 여호와께서는 앞으로 여러분이 요단강을 건너가 약속의 땅에서 모든 원수들을 물리치고 편안히 살 수 있게 하실 것입니다.
  1. then it shall come about that the place in which the LORD your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice votive offerings which you will vow to the LORD.
  2. "And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance with you.
  3. "Be careful that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every cultic place you see,
  4. but in the place which the LORD chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
  5. "However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, whatever you desire, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.
  1. 그때 여러분은 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 예배처로 선정한 곳으로 내가 명령한 번제와 그 밖에 다른 희생제물과 십일조와 특별 예물과 서약을 지키는 서원 예물을 가져가십시오.
  2. 거기서 여러분은 여호와 하나님 앞에서 여러분의 자녀와 종들과 땅을 분배받지 못하고 여러분의 성에서 사는 레위인들과 함께 다 같이 즐거워하십시오.
  3. 여러분은 아무데서나 마음대로 번제를 드리지 말고
  4. 여러분의 지파들이 소유한 땅 가운데 여호와께서 지정하신 곳에서만 번제를 드리십시오. 거기서 여러분은 내가 명령하는 이 모든 것을 준수해야 합니다.
  5. 여러분은 노루나 사슴을 잡아먹을 때와 마찬가지로 부정한 자나 깨끗한 자나 누구든지 여러분의 성 내에서는 여러분의 짐승을 마음대로 잡아먹을 수 있습니다.
  1. "Only you shall not eat the blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water.
  2. "You are not allowed to eat within your gates the tithe of your grain or new wine or oil, or the firstborn of your herd or flock, or any of your votive offerings which you vow, or your freewill offerings, or the contribution of your hand.
  3. "But you shall eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all your undertakings.
  4. "Be careful that you do not forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
  5. "When the LORD your God extends your border as He has promised you, and you say, 'I will eat meat,' because you desire to eat meat, then you may eat meat, whatever you desire.
  1. 그러나 그 피는 먹지 말고 물처럼 땅에 쏟아 버리십시오.
  2. 여러분은 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조와 그리고 소나 양의 첫태생과 서약을 지키기 위해 드리는 예물과 자발적으로 드리는 낙헌 예물과 그 밖의 특별 예물은 여러분의 성 안에서 먹어서는 안 됩니다.
  3. 여러분은 이 모든 것을 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 지정하신 곳으로 가지고 가서 여러분의 자녀들과 종들과 여러분의 성에 사는 레위인들과 함께 여호와 앞에서 먹고 여러분이 행한 모든 일에 대하여 여러분의 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워하십시오.
  4. 그리고 여러분은 그 땅에 사는 동안 레위인을 보살피는 일을 소홀히 해서는 안 됩니다.
  5. 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 약속하신 대로 여러분의 영토를 넓히실 때는 여러분이 먹고 싶은 고기를 마음대로 먹을 수 있습니다.
  1. "If the place which the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, then you may slaughter of your herd and flock which the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates whatever you desire.
  2. "Just as a gazelle or a deer is eaten, so you will eat it; the unclean and the clean alike may eat of it.
  3. "Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.
  4. "You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the ground like water.
  5. "You shall not eat it, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you, for you will be doing what is right in the sight of the LORD.
  1. 만일 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 지정하신 예배처가 여러분이 있는 곳에서 멀리 떨어져 있으면 내가 여러분에게 말한 대로 여호와께서 여러분에게 주신 소와 양을 잡아 여러분의 성 안에서 마음대로 먹어도 됩니다.
  2. 물론 노루나 사슴을 먹을 때와 마찬가지로 깨끗한 자나 부정한 자가 다같이 그 고기를 먹을 수 있습니다.
  3. 그러나 그 피는 먹지 마십시오. 피는 그 짐승의 생명이므로 여러분이 그 생명을 고기와 함께 먹어서는 안 됩니다.
  4. 여러분은 그 피를 먹지 말고 물처럼 땅에 쏟아 버리십시오.
  5. 여러분이 그렇게 하면 여호와께서 기뻐하실 것이며 여러분과 여러분의 후손이 복을 누리게 될 것입니다.
  1. "Only your holy things which you may have and your votive offerings, you shall take and go to the place which the LORD chooses.
  2. "And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of the LORD your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the LORD your God, and you shall eat the flesh.
  3. "Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
  1. 그러나 거룩한 예물과 서약의 예물은 여호와께서 지정하신 곳으로 가지고 가야 합니다.
  2. 여러분이 번제를 드릴 때는 고기와 피를 모두 여호와의 제단에 드리십시오. 그리고 다른 희생제물을 드릴 때는 피만 여호와의 제단에 붓고 그 고기는 여러분이 먹어도 좋습니다.
  3. 그가 여러분에게 명령한 이 모든 것을 여러분은 충실히 지켜야 합니다. 만일 여러분이 여호와께서 보시기에 옳은 일을 행하면 여러분과 여러분의 후손이 길이길이 복을 받게 될 것입니다.'
