- Do you indeed speak righteousness, O gods? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men?
- No, in heart you work unrighteousness; On earth you weigh out the violence of your hands.
- The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.
- They have venom like the venom of a serpent; Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
- So that it does not hear the voice of charmers, Or a skillful caster of spells.

- (다윗의 시. 성가대 지휘자를 따라 '멸하지 말라.'는 곡조에 맞춰 부른 노래) 너희 통치자들아, 너희가 바른 말을 하고 있느냐? 너희가 사람들을 공정하게 재판하고 있느냐?
- 아니다. 오히려 너희는 악한 일을 생각하며 온 땅에 폭력을 휘두르고 있다.
- 악인들은 뱃속에 있을 때부터 잘못되었으며 태어날 때부터 곁길로 나아가 거짓말을 하는구나.
- 그들은 뱀처럼 독살스럽고 귀먹은 독사 같으니
- 아무리 훌륭한 마법사가 마술을 걸어도 그 소리를 듣지 않는 독사이다.

- O God, shatter their teeth in their mouth; Break out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD.
- Let them flow away like water that runs off; When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.
- Let them be as a snail which melts away as it goes along, Like the miscarriages of a woman which never see the sun.
- Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
- The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

- 하나님이시여, 그들의 이빨을 꺾으소서. 여호와여, 이 젊은 사자들의 어금니를 부러뜨리소서.
- 그들을 흘러가는 물처럼 사라지게 하시며 그들이 화살을 당길 때 부러지게 하소서.
- 그들을 움직이기만 하면 점점 녹아 없어지는 달팽이 같게 하시고 햇빛을 보지 못하고 죽어서 나오는 사산아 같게 하소서.
- 하나님은 늙은 자나 젊은 자나 악인들을 모조리 쓸어 버리실 것이다. 솥이 그 아래 있는 가시나무 불길을 느끼는 것보다 더 빨리 하나님이 그들을 소멸하시리라.
- 의로운 자들은 악인들이 보복당하는 것을 보고 기뻐할 것이니 그들이 악인들의 피에 그 발을 씻을 것이다.

- And men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely there is a God who judges on earth!"

- 그때 비로소 사람들은 '의로운 자들이 상을 받고 세상을 심판하시는 하나님이 계신다.' 하리라.
