	역대상 15:1-16:43 다윗은 웃사의 사건을 교훈삼아 하나님의 규례를 엄격히 준수하여 언약궤를 성공적으로 운반함으로써 예루살렘에 안치하였다. 감사 제사를 드린 다윗은 찬양대를 조직하여 하나님을 송축했으며, 언약궤를 섬길 봉사자들을 선정하여 직무를 배정했다.

	언약궤의 예루살렘 안치(15:1-15:29)

Now David built houses for himself in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.

Then David said, "No one is to carry the ark of God but the Levites; for the LORD chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever."

And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place which he had prepared for it.

David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:

of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and 120 of his relatives;

다윗은 예루살렘에 자기를 위하여 여러 궁을 세우고 또 하나님의 궤를 모실 새 성막을 세운 다음

이렇게 말하였다. '레위 사람 외에는 아무도 하나님의 궤를 멜 수 없다. 이것은 여호와께서 그들만이 하나님의 궤를 메고 그를 영원히 섬길 수 있도록 하셨기 때문이다.'

그리고서 다윗은 여호와의 궤를 새 성막으로 옮기기 위해 모든 이스라엘 백성을 예루살렘으로 불러 모으고

또 아론과 레위 자손들도 불러 모았는데 이들 레위인들은 다음과 같다.

고핫 자손 중에서 족장 우리엘과 그의 친척 120명,

of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and 220 of his relatives;

of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and 130 of his relatives;

of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and 200 of his relatives;

of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and 80 of his relatives;

of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and 112 of his relatives.

므라리 자손 중에서 족장 아사야와 그의 친척 220명,

게르손 자손 중에서 족장 요엘과 그의 친척 130명,

엘리사반 자손 중에서 족장 스마야와 그의 친척 200명,

헤브론 자손 중에서 족장 엘리엘과 그의 친척 80명,

그리고 웃시엘 자손 중에서 족장 암미나답과 그의 친척 112명이었다.

Then David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel and Amminadab,

and said to them, "You are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves both you and your relatives, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.

"Because you did not carry it at the first, the LORD our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance."

So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

The sons of the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles thereon, as Moses had commanded according to the word of the LORD.

그런 다음 다윗은 제사장 사독과 아비아달을 부르고 또 레위 사람 우리엘, 아사야, 요엘, 스마야, 엘리엘, 암미나답을 불러 놓고

그들에게 이렇게 말하였다. '여러분은 레위 집안의 족장들입니다. 여러분은 여러분의 모든 형제들과 함께 여러분 자신을 성결하게 하고 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 궤를 내가 준비한 곳으로 옮기십시오.

지난번에는 여러분이 이 궤를 메지 않고 우리가 이것을 함부로 취급했기 때문에 여호와께서 우리를 벌하셨습니다.'

그래서 제사장들과 레위 사람들은 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 궤를 옮겨 오기 위해서 그들의 몸을 성결하게 하고

레위인들은 여호와께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 운반채를 하나님의 궤에 꿰어 어깨에 메었다.

Then David spoke to the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their relatives the singers, with instruments of music, harps, lyres, loud-sounding cymbals, to raise sounds of joy.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel, and from his relatives, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and from the sons of Merari their relatives, Ethan the son of Kushaiah,

and with them their relatives of the second rank, Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom and Jeiel, the gatekeepers.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph and Ethan were appointed to sound aloud cymbals of bronze;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah and Benaiah, with harps tuned to alamoth;

다윗은 또 레위 사람의 지도자들에게 노래하는 자들을 모아 성가대를 조직하고 비파와 수금과 제금을 큰 소리로 즐겁게 연주하도록 하라고 지시하였다.

그래서 레위 사람들은 성가대 중심 구성원으로 요엘의 아들 헤만, 베레야의 아들 아삽, 므라리 자손인 구사야의 아들 에단을 세웠다.

그리고 이들을 도울 성가대원들은 스가랴, 야아시엘, 스미라못, 여히엘, 운니, 엘리압, 브나야, 마아세야, 맛디디야, 엘리블레후, 믹네야, 문지기인 오벧-에돔과 여이엘이었다.

그리고 헤만과 아삽과 에단은 놋제금을 쳤고

스가랴, 아시엘, 스미라못, 여히엘, 운니, 엘리압, 마아세야, 브나야는 비파를 타고 노래하였으며

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom, Jeiel and Azaziah, to lead with lyres tuned to the sheminith.

Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was in charge of the singing; he gave instruction in singing because he was skillful.

Berechiah and Elkanah were gatekeepers for the ark.

Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah also were gatekeepers for the ark.

So it was David, with the elders of Israel and the captains over thousands, who went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom with joy.

맛디디야, 엘리블레후, 믹네야, 오벧-에돔, 여이엘, 아사시야는 수금을 탔다

또 음악적인 소질이 다분한 레위 집안의 족장인 그나냐는 성가대 지휘자였고

베레갸와 엘가나는 하나님의 궤를 지키는 자였으며

제사장인 스바냐, 요사밧, 느다넬, 아마새, 스가랴, 브나야, 엘리에셀은 하나님의 궤를 메고 가는 행렬 선두에 서서 나팔을 부는 자들이었고 오벧-에돔과 여히야도 그 궤를 지키는 자들이었다.

다윗과 이스라엘 지도자들과 군지휘관들은 오벧-에돔의 집으로 가서 기쁜 마음으로 여호와의 궤를 메어 왔는데

Because God was helping the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

Now David was clothed with a robe of fine linen with all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and the singers and Chenaniah the leader of the singing with the singers. David also wore an ephod of linen.

Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the horn, with trumpets, with loud-sounding cymbals, with harps and lyres.

It happened when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and celebrating; and she despised him in her heart.

그들은 하나님이 그 궤를 멘 레위 사람들을 치지 않으시고 도우셨으므로 수송아지 일곱 마리와 수양 일곱 마리로 제사를 드렸다.

이때 다윗과 궤를 멘 레위 사람들과 노래하는 자들과 성가대 지휘자인 그나냐는 고운 모시 옷을 입었으며 또 다윗도 고운 모시 에봇을 입었다.

이렇게 해서 이스라엘 백성들은 기쁨의 함성을 지르고 양각과 나팔을 불며 제금을 치고 비파와 수금을 힘 있게 타면서 여호와의 궤를 예루살렘으로 옮겨왔다.

그러나 여호와의 궤가 다윗성으로 들어올 때 사울의 딸이며 다윗의 아내인 미갈이 창 밖을 내다보다가 다윗왕이 뛰고 춤추는 것을 보고 속으로 그를 업신여겼다.

	다윗과 백성들의 감사 제사(16:1-16:43)

And they brought in the ark of God and placed it inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

He distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a raisin cake.

He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, even to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom and Jeiel, with musical instruments, harps, lyres; also Asaph played loud-sounding cymbals,

그들은 하나님의 궤를 다윗이 미리 마련해 놓은 성막 안에 안치하고 하나님께 불로 태워 바치는 번제와 화목제를 드렸다.

제사가 끝났을 때 다윗은 여호와의 이름으로 백성들을 축복하고

남녀 모든 사람에게 빵 하나와 고기 한 조각과 건포도빵 한 개씩 나누어 주었다.

다윗은 일부 레위 사람들을 뽑아 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 노래하고 찬양하며 여호와의 궤 앞에서 섬기도록 하였다.

이 직무를 맡은 책임자는 제금을 치는 아삽이었으며 그를 돕는 자들은 스가랴, 여이엘, 스미라못, 여히엘, 맛디디아, 엘리압, 브나야, 오벧-에돔, 그리고 또 다른 여이엘이었는데 이들은 모두 비파와 수금을 타는 자들이었다.

and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests blew trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

Then on that day David first assigned Asaph and his relatives to give thanks to the LORD.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.

Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.

또 브나야와 야하시엘 두 제사장은 하나님의 궤 앞에서 정규적으로 나팔을 불었다.

그 날 다윗은 아삽과 그 동료들에게 먼저 이런 감사의 찬송을 여호와께 부르도록 하였다.

너희는 여호와께 감사하고 그의 이름을 선포하며 그가 행하신 일을 온 세상에 알게 하라.

그에게 노래하고 그를 찬양하며 그의 신기한 일을 말하라.

그의 거룩한 이름을 자랑하라. 여호와를 찾는 자에게는 즐거움이 있으리라.

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.

Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,

O seed of Israel His servant, Sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,

너희는 여호와를 찾고 그의 능력을 구하며 항상 그를 바라보아라.

여호와의 종, 야곱의 후손들아,

하나님이 택하신 이스라엘의 자손들아, 너희는 그가 행하신 놀랍고 신기한 일과 그가 내린 심판을 기억하라.

그는 여호와 우리 하나님이시다! 그가 온 세상을 심판하신다.

너희는 그의 영원한 계약 - 천 대에까지 명령하신 그의 말씀을 기억하라.

The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.

He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, As the portion of your inheritance."

When they were only a few in number, Very few, and strangers in it,

And they wandered about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people,

이것은 그가 아브라함과 맺은 계약이며 이삭에게 하신 맹세요

야곱에게 하신 약속이며 이스라엘과 맺은 영원한 계약이니

이것이 바로 '내가 가나안 땅을 너에게 주어 네 소유가 되게 하겠다.' 고 하신 말씀이다.

이스라엘 백성의 수가 매우 적고 가나안 땅에서 그들이 나그네가 되어

이 민족 저 민족, 이 나라 저 나라로 방황할 때에도

He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,

"Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.

하나님은 아무도 그들을 괴롭히지 못하게 하시고 그들을 위해 모든 왕들에게 경고하셨다.

나의 택한 종들에게 손대지 말고 나의 예언자들을 해하지 말아라.

온 땅이여, 여호와께 노래하며 그의 구원의 기쁜 소식을 날마다 전파하라.

그의 영광을 온 세계에 선포하고 그가 행하시는 놀라운 일을 모든 민족에게 말하라.

여호와는 위대하시고 높이 찬양을 받으실 분이시니 모든 신보다 두려워해야 하리라.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and joy are in His place.

Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him; Worship the LORD in holy array.

Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

세상의 모든 신들이 다 우상에 불과하나 여호와는 하늘을 만드셨다.

영광과 위엄이 그 앞에 있고 능력과 즐거움이 그의 처소에 있구나.

세상의 모든 민족들아, 영광과 능력을 여호와께 돌려라.

여호와의 이름에 합당한 영광을 그에게 돌리고 예물을 가지고 그의 성전에 들어가며 거룩한 옷을 입고 여호와께 경배하라.

온 땅이여, 그 앞에서 떨어라. 세계가 굳게 서서 움직이지 않는구나!

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."

Let the sea roar, and all it contains; Let the field exult, and all that is in it.

Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD; For He is coming to judge the earth.

O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise."

하늘이여, 기뻐하라! 땅이여, 즐거워하라! 너희는 여호와가 왕이심을 온 세계에 선포하라.

바다와 그 안에 있는 모든 생물아, 외쳐라. 밭과 그 가운데 있는 모든 것들아, 즐거워하라!

그때 숲속에 나무들이 여호와 앞에서 즐겁게 노래하리니 주께서 땅을 심판하러 오실 것임이라.

여호와께 감사하라. 그는 선하시며 그의 사랑은 영원하다

너희는 부르짖어라. '우리 구원의 하나님이시여, 우리를 구원하소서. 여러 나라에서 우리를 모으고 구출하셔서 우리가 주께 감사하고 주의 거룩한 이름을 찬양하게 하소서.'

Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting Then all the people said, "Amen," and praised the LORD.

So he left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;

and Obed-edom with his 68 relatives; Obed-edom, also the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah as gatekeepers.

He left Zadok the priest and his relatives the priests before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place which was at Gibeon,

to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which He commanded Israel.

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찬양하라! 지금부터 영원히 그를 찬양하라!' 그러자 모든 백성들은 '아멘!' 하고 여호와를 찬양하였다.

다윗은 아삽과 그의 동료 레위인들이 여호와의 법궤 앞에서 항상 섬기며 매일 정규적인 일을 맡아 하게 하였다.

오벧-에돔과 그의 집안 사람 68명은 아삽과 그의 동료들을 돕도록 하였고 여두둔의 아들 오벧-에돔과 호사는 문지기로 일하게 하였다.

한편 다윗은 제사장 사독과 그의 동료 제사장들에게 기브온 언덕에 있는 여호와의 옛 성막에서 계속 여호와를 섬기도록 하였다.

그래서 그들은 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성에게 명령하신 대로 매일 아침 저녁으로 번제단에서 여호와께 제사를 드렸다.

With them were Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were designated by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His lovingkindness is everlasting.

And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun for the gate.

Then all the people departed each to his house, and David returned to bless his household.

다윗은 또 헤만과 여두둔과 그리고 다른 몇 사람을 뽑아 특별히 여호와의 한결같은 사랑과 자비에 대하여 감사의 찬송을 부르도록 했는데

헤만과 여두둔은 다른 이들의 찬송에 맞추어 나팔과 제금과 다른 악기들을 연주하였다. 그리고 여두둔의 아들들은 문을 지키는 책임을 맡았다.

그리고서 모든 사람들은 각자 자기 집으로 돌아갔고 다윗도 자기 가족을 축복하려고 집으로 돌아갔다.
