- A worthless person, a wicked man, Is the one who walks with a perverse mouth,
- Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, Who points with his fingers;
- Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil, Who spreads strife.
- Therefore his calamity will come suddenly; Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.
- There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:

- 불량하고 악한 자는 거짓말만 하고 돌아다니며
- 남을 속이려고 눈짓, 손짓, 발짓을 하고
- 그 마음은 비뚤어지고 잘못되어 항상 악한 음모를 꾸미며 어디를 가나 말썽만 일으킨다.
- 그래서 이런 자는 재난이 갑자기 밀어닥치면 피하지 못하고 망하고 말 것이다.
- 여호와께서 미워하고 싫어하는 것이 일곱 가지가 있는데 그것은

- Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood,
- A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil,
- A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

- 교만한 눈과, 거짓말하는 혀와, 죄 없는 자를 죽이는 손과,
- 악한 계획을 세우는 마음과, 악을 행하려고 빨리 달려가는 발과,
- 거짓말을 토하는 거짓 증인과, 형제 사이를 이간하는 자이다.
