- Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Or crush the afflicted at the gate;
- For the LORD will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them.
- Do not associate with a man given to anger; Or go with a hot-tempered man,
- Or you will learn his ways And find a snare for yourself.
- Do not be among those who give pledges, Among those who become guarantors for debts.

- 가난한 사람의 약점을 이용하려 들지 말며 법정에서 무력한 자를 억누르지 말아라.
- 여호와께서 그들의 대변자가 되셔서 그들을 해치는 자를 벌하실 것이다.
- 성질이 과격한 사람과 성 잘 내는 사람을 사귀지 말아라.
- 그렇지 않으면 너도 그들을 닮아 네 영혼이 덫에 걸리고 말 것이다.
- 너는 남의 빚 보증을 서지 말아라.
