아모스 7:1-8:14

 아모스는 황충, 불, 다림줄 환상에 이어 여름 실과의 환상을 보았다. 황충과 불의 환상은 북이스라엘의 멸망과 하나님의 심판에 대한 경고를, 다림줄과 여름 실과의 환상은 회개치 않은 북이스라엘에 대한 하나님의 심판이 확정되었음을 보여 주는 것이었다. 아모스는 심판의 날에는 절망적인 애곡과 하나님의 말씀에 대한 극심한 영적 기갈이 있을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  아모스의 환상(7:1-8:14)    
 
  1. Thus the Lord GOD showed me, and behold, He was forming a locust-swarm when the spring crop began to sprout. And behold, the spring crop was after the king's mowing.
  2. And it came about, when it had finished eating the vegetation of the land, that I said, "Lord GOD, please pardon! How can Jacob stand, For he is small?"
  3. The LORD changed His mind about this. "It shall not be," said the LORD.
  4. Thus the Lord GOD showed me, and behold, the Lord GOD was calling to contend with them by fire, and it consumed the great deep and began to consume the farm land.
  5. Then I said, "Lord GOD, please stop! How can Jacob stand, for he is small?"
  1. 이것은 주 여호와께서 나에게 환상으로 보여 주신 것이다. 왕에게 돌아갈 몫의 풀을 베고 난 후 다시 움이 돋기 시작할 무렵 주께서 메뚜기 떼를 일으키시자
  2. 그 메뚜기 떼가 그 땅의 푸른 것을 모조리 먹어 버렸다 그래서 내가 '주 여호와여, 주의 백성을 용서하소서. 그들이 어떻게 살아 남을 수 있겠습니까? 그들은 아주 미약합니다.' 하고 부르짖었다.
  3. 그러자 여호와께서는 마음을 돌리시고 '이런 일이 일어나지 않을 것이다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  4. 주 여호와께서 나에게 또 다른 환상을 보여 주셨는데 그가 불의 심판을 명령하시자 그 불이 큰 바다를 태워 말리고 육지까지 삼키기 시작하였다.
  5. 그때 내가 '주 여호와여. 그치소서! 주의 백성이 어떻게 살아 남을 수 있겠습니까? 그들은 아주 미약합니다.' 하고 부르짖자
  1. The LORD changed His mind about this. "This too shall not be," said the Lord GOD.
  2. Thus He showed me, and behold, the Lord was standing by a vertical wall with a plumb line in His hand.
  3. The LORD said to me, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A plumb line " Then the Lord said, "Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel I will spare them no longer.
  4. "The high places of Isaac will be desolated And the sanctuaries of Israel laid waste Then I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with the sword."
  5. Then Amaziah, the priest of Bethel, sent word to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, "Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel; the land is unable to endure all his words.
  1. 여호와께서 마음을 돌이키시고 '이것도 일어나지 않을 것이다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  2. 여호와께서 다시 나에게 이런 환상을 보여 주셨다. : 추를 이용하여 쌓은 담곁에 여호와께서 손에 다림줄을 잡고 서서
  3. 아모스야, 네가 무엇을 보느냐?' 하고 물으셨다. 그래서 내가 '다림줄입니다.' 하고 대답하자 주께서 이렇게 대답하셨다. '내가 다림줄로 내 백성을 시험하고 다시는 그들을 용서하지 않겠다.
  4. 이삭의 산당들이 황폐할 것이며 이스라엘의 성소들이 폐허가 될 것이다. 내가 일어나 칼로 여로보암의 집을 치겠다.'
  5. 그때 벧엘의 제사장 아마샤가 이스라엘의 여로보암왕에게 이런 전갈을 보냈다. '이스라엘 백성 가운데 아모스가 왕을 해칠 음모를 꾸미고 있습니다. 그의 선동으로 이 땅에 감당할 수 없는 반란이 일어날지도 모릅니다.
  1. "For thus Amos says, 'Jeroboam will die by the sword and Israel will certainly go from its land into exile.'"
  2. Then Amaziah said to Amos, "Go, you seer, flee away to the land of Judah and there eat bread and there do your prophesying!
  3. "But no longer prophesy at Bethel, for it is a sanctuary of the king and a royal residence."
  4. Then Amos replied to Amaziah, "I am not a prophet, nor am I the son of a prophet; for I am a herdsman and a grower of sycamore figs.
  5. "But the LORD took me from following the flock and the LORD said to me, 'Go prophesy to My people Israel.'
  1. 아모스는 왕이 칼날에 죽을 것이며 이스라엘 백성은 포로가 되어 이 땅을 떠날 것이라고 말하고 있습니다.'
  2. 그런 다음 아마샤는 아모스에게 이렇게 말하였다. '예언자야, 너는 이 곳에서 떠나라. 너는 유다 땅으로 도망가서 거기서 예언하여 밥벌이를 하고
  3. 다시는 벧엘에서 예언하지 말아라. 이 곳은 왕의 성소이며 왕의 궁전이다.'
  4. 그때 아모스가 아마샤에게 대답하였다. '나는 예언자도 아니고 예언자의 아들도 아니며 다만 목자요 뽕나무를 재배하는 사람에 불과하다.
  5. 그러나 여호와께서 양떼를 치는 나를 불러 '너는 가서 내 백성 이스라엘에게 예언하라.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  1. "Now hear the word of the LORD: you are saying, 'You shall not prophesy against Israel nor shall you speak against the house of Isaac.'
  2. "Therefore, thus says the LORD, 'Your wife will become a harlot in the city, your sons and your daughters will fall by the sword, your land will be parceled up by a measuring line and you yourself will die upon unclean soil. Moreover, Israel will certainly go from its land into exile.'"
  1. 그러므로 이제 너는 여호와의 말씀을 들어라. 너는 나에게 예언하지 말고 이스라엘 백성에게 외치지 말라고 하였다.
  2. 그러므로 여호와께서 너에게 이렇게 말씀하신다. '네 아내는 성에서 창녀가 될 것이며 네 자녀들은 칼날에 쓰러지고 네 땅은 측량되어 나누일 것이며 너는 이방 나라에서 죽을 것이다. 그리고 이스라엘은 포로가 되어 본토에서 떠날 것이다.'
 
 
  1. Thus the Lord GOD showed me, and behold, there was a basket of summer fruit.
  2. He said, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit " Then the LORD said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel I will spare them no longer.
  3. "The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day," declares the Lord GOD "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence."
  4. Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land,
  5. saying, "When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales,
  1. 주 여호와께서 또 나에게 익은 과일 한 광주리를 보이시며
  2. '아모스야, 네가 무엇을 보느냐?' 하고 물으셨다. 그래서 내가 '익은 과일 한 광주리입니다.' 하고 대답하자 여호와께서 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '내 백성 이스라엘이 망할 때가 무르익었으니 내가 그들을 살려 두지 않을 것이다.
  3. 그 날에 궁전의 노래가 슬픈 통곡으로 변할 것이며 시체가 너무 많아 사람들이 말없이 시체를 아무 곳이나 마구 내어버릴 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
  4. 가난한 자를 짓밟고 이 땅의 힘없는 자들을 못 살게 구는 자들아, 이 말을 들어라.
  5. 너희는 이렇게 말하고 있다. '언제나 초하루가 지나가고 우리가 곡식을 팔며 언제나 안식일이 지나가고 우리가 장사를 할 수 있을까? 물건은 적게 주면서 값은 올려 받고 저울을 속여 팔며
  1. So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?"
  2. The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds.
  3. "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt.
  4. "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord GOD, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight.
  5. "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day.
  1. 은으로 가난한 자를 사고 신 한 켤레로 빈곤한 자를 사며 찌꺼기 밀을 팔자'
  2. 이스라엘의 자랑이신 여호와께서 맹세하며 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '그들이 행한 일을 내가 절대로 잊지 않을 것이다.
  3. 그러므로 땅이 떨 것이며 그 가운데 사는 모든 사람이 슬퍼할 것이다. 나일강이 범람할 때처럼 온 땅이 솟아올라 진동하다가 다시 낮아질 것이다.'
  4. 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '그 날에 내가 해를 정오에 지게 하여 대낮에 땅을 캄캄하게 하며
  5. 너희 명절을 슬픔으로, 너희 모든 노래를 울음으로 바꾸고 너희 모든 사람에게 굵은 삼베 옷을 입게 하고 머리를 밀게 하여 외아들이 죽어서 통곡할 때처럼 하겠다. 그 날이 쓰라린 고난의 날이 될 것이다.'
  1. "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD.
  2. "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, But they will not find it.
  3. "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst.
  4. "As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan,' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives,' They will fall and not rise again."
  1. 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 기근을 땅에 보낼 날이 올 것이다. 양식이 없어 굶주리거나 물이 없어 갈증을 느끼는 기근이 아니라 여호와의 말씀을 듣지 못해 굶주리고 목말라하는 기근이다.
  2. 사람들이 이 바다에서 저 바다로, 북에서 동으로 사방 비틀거리며 여호와의 말씀을 찾아다녀도 얻지 못할 것이다.
  3. 그 날에는 아름다운 처녀와 건장한 청년이 다 목말라 기절할 것이며
  4. 사마리아의 우상으로 맹세하거나 단의 신이나 브엘세바의 신으로 맹세하는 자들은 쓰러져서 다시 일어나지 못할 것이다.'
 
  훼파(毁破, 7:9)  헐어서 깨뜨림  
  잿밀( 8:6)  밀이 땅에 떨어진 것, 또는 체에서 떨어진 쭉정이
