스가랴

  본서는 스가랴 선지자가 주변 사람들과 사마리아인들의 방해로 성전 재건이 중단됨으로 인해 좌절한 백성들에게 용기를 주어 성전을 재건하게 하고, 메시아 도래의 영광을 바라보게 하기 위해 기록하였다.

  성전 건축을 완성하도록 격려하는 동안 스가랴는 여덟 가지의 환상을 보게 된다. 이 환상들은 유다와 예루살렘에 있는 유대인들을 하나님께서 보살피시며 통치하신다는 것과 이스라엘의 회심과 회복을 상징하는 것이었다. 한편 성전이 재건되고 있는데도 금식을 하는 것에 대해 의문을 제기하는 백성들에게 스가랴는 형식적인 금식보다는 순종과 회개를 강조한다. 성전이 재건된 후 스가랴는 메시아의 초림과 재림 및 통치에 대해서 예언한다.

 

 

스가랴 1:1-3:10

 열조의 악한 행실에서 떠나 야웨 앞으로 돌아오라는 하나님의 말씀을 선포한 스가랴는 여덟 가지의 환상을 보았다. 첫번째는 홍마 탄 자의 환상, 두번째는 네 뿔과 네 공장(工匠)의 환상, 세 번째는 척량줄을 잡은 자의 환상, 그리고 네번째는 야웨 앞에 선 대제사장 여호수아의 환상이었다.
  
  환상들(1:1-3:10)    
 
  1. In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo saying,
  2. "The LORD was very angry with your fathers.
  3. "Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Return to Me," declares the LORD of hosts, "that I may return to you," says the LORD of hosts.
  4. "Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds "' But they did not listen or give heed to Me," declares the LORD.
  5. "Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?
  1. 페르시아의 다리우스황제 2년 8월에 여호와께서 잇도의 손자이며 베레갸의 아들인 예언자 스가랴에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '나 여호와는 너희 조상들에게 대단히 분노하였다.
  3. 그러므로 너는 백성들에게 전능한 나 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '너희는 나에게 돌아오라. 그러면 내가 너희에게 돌아가겠다. 이것은 전능한 나 여호와의 말이다.
  4. 너희는 너희 조상들과 같이 되지 말아라. 오래 전에 예언자들이 그들에게 악하고 죄된 생활을 하지 말라는 나 여호와의 말을 전하였으나 그들은 듣지 않고 내 말에 순종하지 않았다.
  5. 너희 조상들과 예언자들은 지금 살아 있지 않지만
  1. "But did not My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, overtake your fathers? Then they repented and said, 'As the LORD of hosts purposed to do to us in accordance with our ways and our deeds, so He has dealt with us.'"'"
  2. On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, as follows:
  3. I saw at night, and behold, a man was riding on a red horse, and he was standing among the myrtle trees which were in the ravine, with red, sorrel and white horses behind him.
  4. Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" And the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "I will show you what these are."
  5. And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are those whom the LORD has sent to patrol the earth."
  1. 나는 그들에게 내 종 예언자들을 통하여 명령하고 경고하였다. 그러나 그들이 그것을 무시하다가 형벌을 받은 다음에야 뉘우치고, 전능한 나 여호와가 작정한 대로 그들이 당연히 받아야 할 형벌을 내린 것을 인정하였다.'
  2. 다리우스황제 2년 11월 24일에 잇도의 손자이며 베레갸의 아들인 예언자 스가랴에게 여호와께서 말씀을 주셨다.
  3. '내가 밤에 환상을 보니 한 사람이 붉은 말을 타고 골짜기의 도금양 사이에 섰고 그 뒤에는 붉은 말과 밤색 말과 백마가 있었다.
  4. 그때 내가 '내 주여, 이것들이 무엇입니까?' 하고 묻자 나에게 말하는 천사가 '이것들이 무엇을 뜻하는지 내가 너에게 보여 주겠다.' 하고 대답하였다.
  5. 그러자 도금양 사이에 선 그 사람이 '그들은 온 땅을 순찰하라고 여호와께서 보내신 자들이다.' 라고 설명하였다.
  1. So they answered the angel of the LORD who was standing among the myrtle trees and said, "We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is peaceful and quiet."
  2. Then the angel of the LORD said, "O LORD of hosts, how long will You have no compassion for Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, with which You have been indignant these seventy years?"
  3. The LORD answered the angel who was speaking with me with gracious words, comforting words.
  4. So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion.
  5. "But I am very angry with the nations who are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they furthered the disaster."
  1. 그들이 도금양 사이에 선 여호와의 사자에게 '우리가 땅을 두루 다녀 보았는데 온 세상이 평화롭고 고요했습니다.'하고 보고하였다.
  2. 그때 여호와의 사자가 말하였다. '전능하신 여호와여, 주께서는 70년 동안 예루살렘과 유다 성들에게 분노하셨습니다. 주께서 언제나 저들에게 자비를 베푸시겠습니까?'
  3. 그러자 여호와께서 나에게 말하는 천사에게 너그럽고 위로하는 말씀으로 대답하셨다.
  4. 그때 그 천사가 나에게 말하였다. '너는 전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다고 선포하라. '내가 나의 거룩한 성, 예루살렘에 대해서는 깊은 사랑과 관심을 갖고 있지만
  5. 안일하게 살고 있는 이방 나라에 대해서는 분노를 금치 못하고 있다. 나는 내 백성에게 화를 조금밖에 내지 않았으나 그들은 내 백성에게 내가 생각한 그 이상으로 많은 고통을 주었다.
  1. 'Therefore thus says the LORD, "I will return to Jerusalem with compassion; My house will be built in it," declares the LORD of hosts, "and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem."'
  2. "Again, proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem."'"
  3. Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there were four horns.
  4. So I said to the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these?" And he answered me, "These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem."
  5. Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen.
  1. 그러므로 나 여호와가 말한다. 내가 자비를 베풀려고 예루살렘에 돌아왔으니 여기에 내 집이 세워질 것이며 예루살렘이 재건될 것이다.
  2. 너는 전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다고 다시 선포하라. 나의 성들이 다시 번영할 것이다. 나 여호와가 다시 시온을 위로하고 축복하며 그 가운데 살겠다.'
  3. 내가 다시 살펴보니 내 앞에 네 뿔이 있었다.
  4. 그래서 나는 나에게 말하던 천사에게 '이것들이 무엇입니까?' 하고 물었다. 그러자 그는 나에게 '이것들은 유다와 이스라엘과 예루살렘 백성을 흩어 버린 뿔들이다.' 하고 대답하였다.
  5. 그때 여호와께서 나에게 네 명의 기능공을 보여 주셨다.
  1. I said, "What are these coming to do?" And he said, "These are the horns which have scattered Judah so that no man lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it."
  1. 그래서 내가 '이들이 무엇을 하러 왔습니까?' 하고 묻자 여호와께서 나에게 이렇게 대답하셨다. '그들은 유다를 짓밟고 그 백성을 흩어 버린 이방 나라의 이 뿔들을 두렵게 하고 꺾어 버리려고 온 자들이다.'
 
 
  1. Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand.
  2. So I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is."
  3. And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him,
  4. and said to him, "Run, speak to that young man, saying, 'Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the multitude of men and cattle within it.
  5. 'For I,' declares the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'"
  1. 내가 다시 살펴보니 한 사람이 손에 측량줄을 잡고 있었다.
  2. 그래서 내가 '당신은 어디로 가십니까?' 하고 묻자 그는 나에게 '예루살렘을 측량하여 그 폭과 길이가 얼마나 되는지 알아보려고 하오.' 하고 대답하였다.
  3. 그때 나에게 말하던 천사가 나가자 다른 천사가 와서 그를 만나
  4. 이렇게 말하였다. '너는 측량줄을 잡고 있는 청년에게 달려가서 앞으로 예루살렘은 사람과 짐승이 너무 많아서 성벽 없는 촌락과 같을 것이라고 말하라.
  5. 여호와께서는 '내가 그 사면에 불담이 되며 그 성의 영광이 되겠다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.'
  1. "Ho there! Flee from the land of the north," declares the LORD, "for I have dispersed you as the four winds of the heavens," declares the LORD.
  2. "Ho, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon."
  3. For thus says the LORD of hosts, "After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.
  4. "For behold, I will wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me.
  5. "Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," declares the LORD.
  1. 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 말씀하셨다. '내가 너희를 하늘의 바람처럼 사방 흩어 버렸으나 이제 너희는 북쪽 땅에서 도망하라. 나 여호와가 말한다.
  2. 바빌로니아에 사는 시온의 백성들아, 이제 너희는 피하라.
  3. 너희를 치는 자는 나의 눈동자를 치는 자이다.' 그래서 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내시며 자기 백성을 약탈한 나라에 대하여 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
  4. '내가 손을 들어 그들을 치겠다. 그들은 자기들을 섬기던 종들에게 약탈을 당할 것이다.' 이런 일이 일어나면 모든 사람이 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄 알게 될 것이다.
  5. 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. '예루살렘 백성들아, 너희는 노래하며 기뻐하라. 내가 가서 너희 가운데 살겠다.'
  1. "Many nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My people Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.
  2. "The LORD will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
  3. "Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD; for He is aroused from His holy habitation."
  1. 그 때에 많은 나라가 여호와께 돌아와 그의 백성이 될 것이며 그는 그들 가운데 살 것이다. 그러면 그들이 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄 알 것이다.
  2. 여호와께서 앞으로 거룩한 땅에서 유다를 자기 소유로 삼으시고 예루살렘을 다시 택할 것이다.
  3. 모든 사람들아, 여호와 앞에서 잠잠하라. 여호와께서 그의 거룩한 처소에서 일어나신다.
 
 
  1. Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
  2. The LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"
  3. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel.
  4. He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, "Remove the filthy garments from him " Again he said to him, "See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes."
  5. Then I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the LORD was standing by.
  1. 여호와께서는 대제사장 여호수아가 그의 사자 앞에 섰고 사탄은 그 오른편에 서서 여호수아를 고발하고 있는 환상을 나에게 보여 주셨다.
  2. 여호와께서 사탄에게 말씀하셨다. '사탄아, 나 여호와가 너를 책망한다. 예루살렘을 택한 나 여호와가 너를 책망한다. 이 사람은 불에서 끄집어낸 타다 남은 나무 막대기가 아니냐?'
  3. 여호수아는 더러운 옷을 입고 천사 앞에 서 있었다.
  4. 그때 여호와께서 자기 앞에 선 천사들에게 그 더러운 옷을 벗기라고 명령하시고 또 여호수아에게 '내가 네 죄를 없애 버렸으므로 너에게 아름다운 옷을 입혀 주겠다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  5. 그때 내가 '그 머리에 깨끗한 관을 씌우소서.' 하자 천사들이 그 머리에 깨끗한 관을 씌우고 옷을 입혔으며 여호와의 사자는 그 곁에 서 있었다.
  1. And the angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying,
  2. "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.
  3. 'Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you--indeed they are men who are a symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch.
  4. 'For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,' declares the LORD of hosts, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
  5. 'In that day,' declares the LORD of hosts, 'every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.'"
  1. 여호와의 사자가 여호수아에게 엄숙히 말하였다.
  2. '전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다. 만일 네가 내 법을 지키고 내 명령을 잘 수행하면 네가 내 집을 다스리고 내 뜰을 지킬 것이며 또 내가 너를 여기 서 있는 천사들 가운데 마음대로 왕래할 수 있게 하겠다.
  3. 대제사장 여호수아야, 너는 네 앞에 앉아 있는 동료들과 함께 내 말을 들어라. 너희는 앞으로 올 좋은 일에 대한 상징이다. 내가 '가지'라고 부르는 내 종을 일으킬 것이다.
  4. 내가 너 여호수아 앞에 세운 돌을 보아라. 돌 하나에 면이 일곱 개이다. 내가 거기에 새길 것을 새기고 단 하루 만에 이 땅의 죄를 다 없애 버리겠다.
  5. 전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 그 날에는 너희가 모두 자기 이웃을 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래로 초대할 것이다.'
