	스가랴 4:1-7:14 스가랴는 여덟 가지 환상 중 다섯번째로 두 감람나무 사이의 순금 등대 환상, 여섯번째로 날아가는 두루마리 환상, 일곱번째로 에바 안의 여인 환상, 그리고 마지막으로 네 병거 환상을 보았다. 이어 대제사장 여호수아의 대관식을 거행하라는 하나님의 명령이 임했는데, 이는 여덟 가지 환상 중에 예표된 ‘순’과 마찬가지로 메시아를 상징하는 것이었다. 금식 제도가 계속 시행되어야 하는지의 여부를 묻는 벧엘 사람들의 질문에 대해 스가랴는 하나님의 답변을 전하였다.

	환상들과 금식(4:1-7:14)

Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep.

He said to me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;

also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side."

Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me saying, "What are these, my lord?"

So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord."

나에게 말하던 천사가 다시 와서 나를 깨웠다. 마치 자다가 일어난 기분이었다.

그가 나에게 이렇게 물었다. '네가 무엇을 보느냐?' '내가 보니 순금 등대가 있고 그 꼭대기에는 주발 하나가 있으며 또 그 등대에는 일곱 등잔이 있고 등대 꼭대기에서 일곱 개의 관이 각 등잔으로 연결되어 있으며

그 등대 곁에는 두 감람나무가 있는데 하나는 주발 오른편에 있고 하나는 그 왼편에 있습니다.

그런데 내 주여, 이것이 무엇입니까?'

'이것들이 무엇인지 네가 모르느냐?' '내 주여, 모르겠습니다.'

Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.

'What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"

Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

"The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

"For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel--these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth."

여호와께서는 스룹바벨에게 '힘으로도 되지 않고 능력으로도 되지 않으며 오직 내 영으로 된다.'고 말씀하신다.

그러므로 산이 아무리 높아도 스룹바벨 앞에서 평지가 될 것이며 그가 성전 건축을 마칠 때에는 모든 것이 하나님의 은혜로 되었다고 사람들이 외칠 것이다.'

여호와께서 또 나에게 말씀하셨다.

'스룹바벨이 이 성전의 기초를 놓았으므로 그가 그것을 완성할 것이다. 이런 일이 일어나면 이것이 전능한 나 여호와의 말임을 네가 알게 될 것이다.

보잘것 없는 일이라고 멸시하는 자가 누구냐? 그 일곱 등잔은 온 세상을 살피는 나 여호와의 눈이다. 스룹바벨의 손에 다림줄이 있는 것을 보면 사람들이 기뻐할 것이다.'

Then I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?"

And I answered the second time and said to him, "What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?"

So he answered me, saying, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord."

Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth."

그때 나는 천사에게 다시 물었다. '등대 좌우에 있는 이 두 감람나무는 무슨 뜻입니까?

감람기름이 흘러내리는 두 금관 옆에 있는 이 두 감람나무 가지는 무슨 뜻입니까?'

'네가 이것이 무엇인지 모르느냐?' '내 주여, 모르겠습니다.'

'이것들은 기름 부음을 받아 온 세상의 주를 섬기는 두 사람을 가리킨다.'

Then I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, there was a flying scroll.

And he said to me, "What do you see?" And I answered, "I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits."

Then he said to me, "This is the curse that is going forth over the face of the whole land; surely everyone who steals will be purged away according to the writing on one side, and everyone who swears will be purged away according to the writing on the other side.

"I will make it go forth," declares the LORD of hosts, "and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and consume it with its timber and stones."

Then the angel who was speaking with me went out and said to me, "Lift up now your eyes and see what this is going forth."

내가 다시 살펴보니 두루마리 하나가 날아가고 있었다.

그때 그 천사가 나에게 물었다. '네가 무엇을 보느냐?' '날아가는 두루마리가 보입니다. 그 길이는 10미터 정도 되고 그 폭은 5미터정도 되는 것 같습니다.'

'여기에는 온 세상을 휩쓸 저주가 기록되어 있다. 한쪽에는 도둑질하는 자들이 모두 제거될 것이라고 기록되어 있고 또 한쪽에는 모든 거짓 맹세하는 자들이 제거될 것이라고 기록되어 있다.

전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 이 저주를 보내겠다. 그것이 도둑의 집과 내 이름으로 거짓 맹세하는 자의 집에 들어가 그 집에 머물며 그 집을 나무와 돌까지 모조리 소멸할 것이다.'

나에게 말하던 천사가 잠시 나를 떠났다가 다시 와서 '너는 눈을 들고 나타나는 것이 무엇인지 보아라.' 하였다.

I said, "What is it?" And he said, "This is the ephah going forth." Again he said, "This is their appearance in all the land

(and behold, a lead cover was lifted up); and this is a woman sitting inside the ephah."

Then he said, "This is Wickedness!" And he threw her down into the middle of the ephah and cast the lead weight on its opening.

Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and there two women were coming out with the wind in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.

I said to the angel who was speaking with me, "Where are they taking the ephah?"

그래서 내가 '그것이 무엇입니까?' 하고 묻자 '이것은 바구니인데 온 세상의 죄를 상징한다.' 하고 그가 대답하였다.

그 바구니는 뚜껑이 납으로 되어 있었다. 갑자기 그 뚜껑이 들려서 보니 그 속에 한 여자가 앉아 있었다.

그 천사는 이 여자가 악의 상징이라고 말하면서 그녀를 바구니 속으로 밀어 넣고 그 납뚜껑을 눌러 닫아 버렸다.

그때 내가 살펴보니 두 여자가 학의 날개와 같은 날개를 달고 내 쪽으로 날아오다가 그 바구니를 집어 하늘 높이 날아가 버렸다.

내가 그 천사에게 '그들이 바구니를 어디로 가져가는 겁니까?' 하고 묻자

Then he said to me, "To build a temple for her in the land of Shinar; and when it is prepared, she will be set there on her own pedestal."

그는 나에게 이렇게 대답하였다. '그들이 바빌로니아로 가서 그 바구니를 넣어 둘 집을 짓고 그것이 완성되면 그 바구니는 그 곳의 제자리에 놓여질 것이다.'

Now I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains.

With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses,

with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong dappled horses.

Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these, my lord?"

The angel replied to me, "These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth,

내가 다시 살펴보니 네 대의 전차가 놋으로 된 두 산 사이에서 나오고 있었다.

그 첫번째 전차는 붉은 말들이 끌고 두 번째 전차는 검은 말들이,

세번째 전차는 백마들이, 네 번째 전차는 얼룩말들이 끌었다.

내가 나에게 말하던 천사에게 '내 주여, 이것들이 무엇입니까?' 하고 묻자

그가 나에게 '이것들은 하늘의 네 영인데 온 세상의 주 앞에 섰다가 나가는 것이다.'하고 대답해 주었다.

with one of which the black horses are going forth to the north country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the dappled ones go forth to the south country.

"When the strong ones went out, they were eager to go to patrol the earth." And He said, "Go, patrol the earth." So they patrolled the earth.

Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, "See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north."

The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,

"Take an offering from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon.

검은 말들이 끄는 전차가 북쪽으로 나가자 백마들은 서쪽으로, 얼룩말들은 남쪽으로 갔다.

그 건장한 말들이 다 나가서 땅에 두루 돌아다니려 하므로 여호와께서 '너희는 가서 땅에 두루 돌아다녀라' 하고 말씀하셨다. 그래서 그들은 곧 나가서 땅을 순회하였다.

그때 여호와께서 나를 부르시며 '북쪽으로 간 자들이 내 노여움을 가라앉혔다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.

여호와께서 또 나에게 말씀하셨다.

'너는 바빌로니아의 포로 생활에서 돌아온 헬대와 도비야와 여다야에게 예물을 받고 곧장 스바냐의 아들 요시야의 집으로 가서

"Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

"Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD.

"Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices."'

"Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen the son of Zephaniah.

"Those who are far off will come and build the temple of the LORD " Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you And it will take place if you completely obey the LORD your God.

그들에게서 받은 은과 금으로 면류관을 만들어 여호사닥의 아들인 대제사장 여호수아의 머리에 씌우고

그에게 전능한 나 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '가지'라고 부르는 사람이 자기가 있는 곳에서 나와 나 여호와의 성전을 건축할 것이다.

그가 성전을 짓고 영광을 얻을 것이며 왕위에 앉아 왕으로서, 제사장으로서 자기 백성을 다스릴 것이니 그 둘 사이에 완전한 조화가 있을 것이다.'

그리고 그 면류관은 헬대와 도비야와 여다야와 스바냐의 아들인 요시야를 기념하는 뜻으로 성전에 두도록 하라.

너는 또 그들에게 이렇게 말하라. '멀리 있는 사람들이 와서 여호와의 성전 건축을 도울 것이다. 그러면 너희가 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄 알게 될 것이다. 너희가 만일 너희 하나님 여호와의 명령에 전적으로 순종하면 이 모든 일이 그대로 이루어질 것이다.'

In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, which is Chislev.

Now the town of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech and their men to seek the favor of the LORD,

speaking to the priests who belong to the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, "Shall I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?"

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

"Say to all the people of the land and to the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted?

다리우스황제 4년 9월 4일에 여호와께서 스가랴에게 말씀을 주셨다.

벧엘 사람들이 사레셀과 레겜-멜렉과 그들의 하인들을 보내 여호와께 은혜를 구하고

전능하신 여호와의 성전에 있는 제사장들과 예언자들에게 '우리가 여러 해 동안 해 온 대로 5월에 울며 금식해야 합니까?' 하고 물었다.

그때 전능하신 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.

'너는 이 땅의 모든 백성들과 제사장들에게 나 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '너희가 지난 70년동안 5월과 7월에 금식하며 슬퍼하였는데 그 금식이 진정으로 나를 위한 것이었느냐?

'When you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and do you not drink for yourselves?

'Are not these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous along with its cities around it, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?'"

Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah saying,

"Thus has the LORD of hosts said, 'Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;

and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.'

너희가 먹고 마실 때에도 전적으로 너희 자신을 위해서 먹고 마신 것이 아니냐?

나는 예루살렘과 그 주변 부락들이 번성하여 사람들로 붐비고 네겝 지방과 저지대에 사람들이 살고 있던 그 때에도 이전의 예언자들을 통해서 이런 말을 하였다.'

여호와께서 스가랴에게 다시 말씀하셨다.

'오래 전에 나는 내 백성에게 이렇게 말하였다. '너희는 공정한 재판을 하고 서로서로 자비와 온정을 베풀며

과부와 고아와 외국인과 가난한 자를 억압하지 말고 남을 해칠 계획을 꾸미지 말아라.'

"But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing.

"They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the LORD of hosts.

"And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen," says the LORD of hosts;

"but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known Thus the land is desolated behind them so that no one went back and forth, for they made the pleasant land desolate."

그러나 그들이 듣기를 거절하며 완고하게 등을 돌려 귀를 막고

그 마음을 돌처럼 굳게 하여 내가 옛날의 예언자들을 통해 내 영으로 전한 율법과 말을 듣지 않으므로 내가 대단히 화가 났었다.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 내가 불러도 그들이 듣지 않았기 때문에 나도 그들이 부를 때 듣지 않고

그들을 회오리바람처럼 온 세상에 흩어 외국 땅에서 살게 하였다. 그 후로 이 땅은 황폐하여 왕래하는 자가 없었으니 이것은 그들이 이 좋은 땅을 황무지로 만들었기 때문이다.'
