마태복음 25:31-26:13

 예수님께서는 양과 염소의 비유를 통해 최후의 심판을 경고하셨다. 이 때 대제사장들과 장로들은 예수님을 잡아 죽이기 위해 한창 의논하고 있었다. 한편 베다니에 오신 예수님에게 마리아는 향유를 부어 메시아의 장사를 예비하였다.
  
  심판의 경고(25:31-25:46)    
 
  1. "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.
  2. "All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;
  3. and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
  4. "Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
  5. 'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
  1. "인자가 모든 천사와 더불어 영광에 둘러싸여서 올 때에, 그는 자기의 영광의 보좌에 앉을 것이다.
  2. 그는 모든 민족을 그의 앞에 불러모아, 목자가 양과 염소를 가르듯이 그들을 갈라서,
  3. 양은 그의 오른쪽에, 염소는 그의 왼쪽에 세울 것이다.
  4. 그 때에 임금은 자기 오른쪽에 있는 사람들에게 말하기를 '내 아버지께 복을 받은 사람들아, 와서, 창세 때로부터 너희를 위하여 준비한 이 나라를 차지하여라.
  5. 너희는, 내가 주릴 때에 내게 먹을 것을 주었고, 목마를 때에 마실 것을 주었으며, 나그네로 있을 때에 영접하였고,
  1. naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'
  2. "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?
  3. 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?
  4. 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'
  5. "The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'
  1. 헐벗을 때에 입을 것을 주었고, 병들어 있을 때에 돌보아 주었고, 감옥에 갇혀 있을 때에 찾아 주었다' 할 것이다.
  2. 그 때에 의인들은 그에게 대답하기를 '주님, 우리가 언제, 주님께서 주리신 것을 보고 잡수실 것을 드리고, 목마르신 것을 보고 마실 것을 드리고,
  3. 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하고, 헐벗으신 것을 보고 입을 것을 드리고,
  4. 언제 병드시거나 감옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 찾아갔습니까?' 하고 말할 것이다.
  5. 임금이 그들에게 말하기를 '내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 너희가 여기 내 형제자매 가운데, 지극히 보잘 것 없는 사람 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이다' 할 것이다.
  1. "Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;
  2. for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;
  3. I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.'
  4. "Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'
  5. "Then He will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
  1. 그 때에 임금은 왼쪽에 있는 사람들에게도 말할 것이다. '저주받은 자들아, 내게서 떠나서, 악마와 그 졸개들을 가두려고 준비한 영원한 불 속으로 들어가라.
  2. 너희는 내가 주릴 때에 내게 먹을 것을 주지 않았고, 목마를 때에 마실 것을 주지 않았고,
  3. 나그네로 있을 때에 영접하지 않았고, 헐벗었을 때에 입을 것을 주지 않았고, 병들어 있을 때나 감옥에 갇혀 있을 때에 찾아 주지 않았다.'
  4. 그 때에 그들도 이렇게 말할 것이다. '주님, 우리가 언제 주님께서 굶주리신 것이나, 목마르신 것이나, 나그네 되신 것이나, 헐벗으신 것이나, 병드신 것이나, 감옥에 갇히신 것을 보고도 돌보아 드리지 않았다는 것입니까?'
  5. 그 때에 임금이 그들에게 대답하기를 '내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 여기 이 사람들 가운데서 지극히 보잘 것 없는 사람 하나에게 하지 않은 것이 곧 내게 하지 않은 것이다' 하고 말할 것이다.
  1. "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
  1. 그리하여, 그들은 영원한 형벌로 들어가고, 의인들은 영원한 생명으로 들어갈 것이다."
 
  향유 사건(26:1-26:13)    
 
  1. When Jesus had finished all these words, He said to His disciples,
  2. "You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion."
  3. Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, named Caiaphas;
  4. and they plotted together to seize Jesus by stealth and kill Him.
  5. But they were saying, "Not during the festival, otherwise a riot might occur among the people."
  1. 예수께서 이 모든 말씀을 마치셨을 때에, 자기 제자들에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너희가 아는 대로, 이틀이 지나면 유월절인데, 인자가 넘겨져서 십자가에 달릴 것이다."
  3. 그 즈음에 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 가야바라는 대제사장의 관저에 모여서,
  4. 예수를 속임수로 잡아서 죽이려고 모의하였다.
  5. 그러나 그들은 "백성 가운데서 소동이 일어날지도 모르니, 명절에는 하지 맙시다" 하고 말하였다.
  1. Now when Jesus was in Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper,
  2. a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume, and she poured it on His head as He reclined at the table.
  3. But the disciples were indignant when they saw this, and said, "Why this waste?
  4. "For this perfume might have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor."
  5. But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you bother the woman? For she has done a good deed to Me.
  1. 그런데 예수께서 베다니에서 나병환자 시몬의 집에 계실 때에,
  2. 한 여자가 매우 값진 향유 한 옥합을 가지고 와서는, 음식을 잡수시고 계시는 예수의 머리에 부었다.
  3. 그런데 제자들이 이것을 보고 분개하여 말하였다. "왜 이렇게 낭비하는 거요?
  4. 이 향유를 비싼 값에 팔아서, 가난한 사람들에게 줄 수 있었을 텐데요!"
  5. 예수께서 이것을 보시고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "왜 이 여자를 괴롭히느냐? 그는 내게 아름다운 일을 하였다.
  1. "For you always have the poor with you; but you do not always have Me.
  2. "For when she poured this perfume on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial.
  3. "Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of in memory of her."
  1. 가난한 사람들은 늘 너희와 함께 있지만, 나는 늘 너희와 함께 있는 것이 아니다.
  2. 이 여자가 내 몸에 향유를 부은 것은, 내 장례를 치르려고 한 것이다.
  3. 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 온 세상 어디서든지, 이 복음이 전파되는 곳에서는, 이 여자가 한 일도 전해져서, 그를 기억하게 될 것이다."
