- While they were eating, He took some bread, and after a blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is My body."
- And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
- And He said to them, "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
- "Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."
- After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

- 그들이 먹고 있을 때에, 예수께서 빵을 들어서 축복하신 다음에, 떼어서 그들에게 주시고 말씀하셨다. "받아라. 이것은 내 몸이다."
- 또 잔을 들어서 감사를 드리신 다음에, 그들에게 주시니, 그들은 모두 그 잔을 마셨다.
- 그리고 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "이것은 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 나의 피, 곧 언약의 피다.
- 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 이제부터 내가 하나님의 나라에서 새것을 마실 그 날까지, 나는 포도나무 열매로 빚은 것을 다시는 마시지 않을 것이다."
- 그들은 찬송을 부르고서, 올리브 산으로 갔다.

- And Jesus said to them, "You will all fall away, because it is written, 'I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP SHALL BE SCATTERED.'
- "But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee."
- But Peter said to Him, "Even though all may fall away, yet I will not."
- And Jesus said to him, "Truly I say to you, that this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times."
- But Peter kept saying insistently, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!" And they all were saying the same thing also.

- 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희가 모두 걸려서 넘어질 것이다. 성경에 기록하기를 '내가 목자를 칠 것이니, 양 떼가 흩어질 것이다' 하였기 때문이다.
- 그러나 내가 살아난 뒤에, 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 갈 것이다."
- 베드로가 예수께 말하였다. "모두가 걸려 넘어질지라도, 나는 그렇지 않을 것입니다."
- 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 너에게 말한다. 오늘 밤에 닭이 두 번 울기 전에, 네가 세 번 나를 모른다고 할 것이다."
- 그러나 베드로는 힘주어서 말하였다. "내가 선생님과 함께 죽는 한이 있을지라도, 절대로 선생님을 모른다고 하지 않겠습니다." 나머지 모두도 그렇게 말하였다.

- They came to a place named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here until I have prayed."
- And He took with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be very distressed and troubled.
- And He said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death; remain here and keep watch."
- And He went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by.
- And He was saying, "Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will."

- 그들은 겟세마네라고 하는 곳에 이르렀다. 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하시기를 "내가 기도하는 동안에, 너희는 여기에 앉아 있어라" 하시고,
- 베드로와 야고보와 요한을 데리고 가셨다. 예수께서는 매우 놀라며 괴로워하기 시작하셨다.
- 그래서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내 마음이 근심에 싸여 죽을 지경이다. 너희는 여기에 머물러서 깨어 있어라."
- 그리고서 조금 나아가서 땅에 엎드려 기도하시기를, 될 수만 있으면 이 시간이 자기에게서 비껴가게 해 달라고 하셨다.
- 예수께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "아빠, 아버지, 아버지께서는 모든 일을 하실 수 있으시니, 내게서 이 잔을 거두어 주십시오. 그러나 내 뜻대로 하지 마시고, 아버지의 뜻대로 하여 주십시오."

- And He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?
- "Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
- Again He went away and prayed, saying the same words.
- And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.
- And He came the third time, and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough; the hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

- 그런 다음에 돌아와서 보시니, 제자들은 자고 있었다. 그래서 베드로에게 말씀하셨다. "시몬아, 자고 있느냐? 한 시간도 깨어 있을 수 없느냐?
- 너희는 유혹에 빠지지 않도록, 깨어서 기도하여라. 마음은 원하지만, 육신이 약하구나!"
- 예수께서 다시 떠나가서, 같은 말씀으로 기도하시고,
- 다시 와서 보시니, 그들은 자고 있었다. 그들은 졸려서 눈을 뜰 수 없었던 것이다. 그들은 예수께 무슨 말로 대답해야 할지를 몰랐다.
- 예수께서 세 번째 와서, 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "남은 시간을 자고 쉬어라. 그 정도면 넉넉하다. 때가 왔다. 보아라, 인자는 죄인들의 손에 넘어간다.

- "Get up, let us be going; behold, the one who betrays Me is at hand!"
- Immediately while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came up accompanied by a crowd with swords and clubs, who were from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
- Now he who was betraying Him had given them a signal, saying, "Whomever I kiss, He is the one; seize Him and lead Him away under guard."
- After coming, Judas immediately went to Him, saying, "Rabbi!" and kissed Him.
- They laid hands on Him and seized Him.

- 일어나서 가자. 보아라, 나를 넘겨줄 자가 가까이 왔다."
- 그런데 예수께서 아직 말씀하고 계실 때에, 열두 제자 가운데 하나인 유다가 곧 왔다. 대제사장들과 율법학자들과 장로들이 보낸 무리가 칼과 몽둥이를 들고 그와 함께 왔다.
- 그런데, 예수를 넘겨줄 자가 그들에게 신호를 짜주기를 "내가 입을 맞추는 사람이 바로 그 사람이니, 그를 잡아서 단단히 끌고 가시오" 하고 말해 놓았다.
- 유다가 와서, 예수께로 곧 다가가서 "랍비님!" 하고 말하고서, 입을 맞추었다.
- 그러자 그들은 예수께 손을 대어 잡았다.

- But one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his ear.
- And Jesus said to them, "Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me, as you would against a robber?
- "Every day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me; but this has taken place to fulfill the Scriptures."
- And they all left Him and fled.
- A young man was following Him, wearing nothing but a linen sheet over his naked body; and they seized him.

- 그런데 곁에 서 있던 이들 가운데서 어느 한 사람이, 칼을 빼어 대제사장의 종을 내리쳐서, 그 귀를 잘라 버렸다.
- 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 강도에게 하듯이, 칼과 몽둥이를 들고 나를 잡으러 나왔느냐?
- 내가 날마다 성전에 너희와 함께 있으면서 가르치고 있었건만 너희는 잡지 않았다. 그러나 이것은 성경 말씀을 이루려는 것이다."
- 제자들은 모두 예수를 버리고 달아났다.
- 그런데 어떤 젊은이가 맨몸에 홑이불을 두르고, 예수를 따라가고 있었다. 그들이 그를 잡으려고 하니,

- But he pulled free of the linen sheet and escaped naked.
