여호수아 17:1-19:16

 므낫세 반 지파가 영토를 분배받았다. 요셉 자손이 두 지파이면서도 한 지파 몫을 분배받은 것에 항의하자 여호수아는 스스로 개척하라고 권면했다. 실로에 회막을 세운 이스라엘 자손들에게 여호수아는 아직 기업을 분배받지 못한 일곱 지파를 위해 미정복 지역을 답사하게 하고 베냐민, 시므온, 스불론 지파에게 영토를 할당했다.
  
  므낫세 지파의 땅(17:1-17:18)    
 
  1. Now this was the lot for the tribe of Manasseh, for he was the firstborn of Joseph. To Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, were allotted Gilead and Bashan, because he was a man of war.
  2. So the lot was made for the rest of the sons of Manasseh according to their families: for the sons of Abiezer and for the sons of Helek and for the sons of Asriel and for the sons of Shechem and for the sons of Hepher and for the sons of Shemida; these were the male descendants of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.
  3. However, Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, only daughters; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
  4. They came near before Eleazar the priest and before Joshua the son of Nun and before the leaders, saying, "The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers." So according to the command of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among their father's brothers.
  5. Thus there fell ten portions to Manasseh, besides the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is beyond the Jordan,
  1. 요단 강 서쪽 땅 일부는 요셉의 맏아들인 므낫세 지파가 제비를 뽑아서 나누어 가졌다. 길르앗의 아버지 마길은 므낫세의 맏아들이며 전쟁 영웅이었으므로, 요단 강 동쪽에 있는 길르앗과 바산을 이미 자기의 몫으로 차지하였다.

  3. 므낫세 자손 가운데 슬로브핫이라는 사람이 있었다. 므낫세의 아들 마길은 길르앗을 낳았고, 길르앗의 아들 헤벨은 슬로브핫을 낳았는데, 슬로브핫은 딸만 낳았으며, 아들이 없었다. 그 딸들의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사이다.
  4. 그들이 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 지도자들 앞에 나아와서 말하였다. "주님께서 모세에게, 우리 남자 친족이 유산을 받을 때에, 우리도 그 가운데 끼워 주라고 명령하셨습니다." 그래서 여호수아는 주님의 명대로, 그들의 아버지의 남자 친족들이 유산을 받을 때에 그들을 그 가운데 끼워 주었다.

  1. because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons. And the land of Gilead belonged to the rest of the sons of Manasseh.
  2. The border of Manasseh ran from Asher to Michmethath which was east of Shechem; then the border went southward to the inhabitants of En-tappuah.
  3. The land of Tappuah belonged to Manasseh, but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the sons of Ephraim.
  4. The border went down to the brook of Kanah, southward of the brook (these cities belonged to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh), and the border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook and it ended at the sea.
  5. The south side belonged to Ephraim and the north side to Manasseh, and the sea was their border; and they reached to Asher on the north and to Issachar on the east.
  1. 므낫세 지파의 딸들이 아들들 가운데 끼어 유산을 받았기 때문이다. 길르앗 땅은 므낫세의 남은 자손들의 몫이 되었다.
  2. 므낫세의 경계선은, 아셀에서부터 세겜의 동쪽에 있는 믹므닷에 이르고, 남쪽으로 가서 엔답부아 주민이 살고 있는 땅에까지 미친다.
  3. 답부아 주변의 땅은 므낫세의 소유이나, 경계선에 있는 답부아 성읍은 에브라임 자손의 소유이다.
  4. 또 그 경계선은 가나 개울로 내려간다. 그 개울 남쪽으로 성읍들이 있는데, 이것들은 므낫세의 지역 가운데 있지만, 에브라임에 딸린 것이다. 므낫세의 경계선은 그 개울의 북쪽으로부터 시작하여 지중해에 이르러 끝난다.
  5. 그 남쪽은 에브라임의 소유이고, 북쪽은 므낫세의 소유인데, 지중해가 그들의 서쪽 경계이다. 그 땅이 북서쪽으로는 아셀에 맞닿고, 북동쪽으로는 잇사갈에 맞닿았다.
  1. In Issachar and in Asher, Manasseh had Beth-shean and its towns and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns, the third is Napheth.
  2. But the sons of Manasseh could not take possession of these cities, because the Canaanites persisted in living in that land.
  3. It came about when the sons of Israel became strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but they did not drive them out completely.
  4. Then the sons of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, "Why have you given me only one lot and one portion for an inheritance, since I am a numerous people whom the LORD has thus far blessed?"
  5. Joshua said to them, "If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest and clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you."

  5. 여호수아가 그들에게 말하였다. "당신들이 큰 무리이어서 에브라임 산간지방이 당신들에게 작다면, 거기에서 브리스 사람과 르바임 사람의 땅인 삼림지대로 올라가서 그 곳을 개간하시오."
  1. The sons of Joseph said, "The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Canaanites who live in the valley land have chariots of iron, both those who are in Beth-shean and its towns and those who are in the valley of Jezreel."
  2. Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, saying, "You are a numerous people and have great power; you shall not have one lot only,
  3. but the hill country shall be yours. For though it is a forest, you shall clear it, and to its farthest borders it shall be yours; for you shall drive out the Canaanites, even though they have chariots of iron and though they are strong."
  1. 요셉 자손이 말하였다. "그 산간지방은 우리에게 넉넉하지 못하고, 그 골짜기 땅 곧 벳산과 그 변두리 마을과 이스르엘 골짜기에 사는 가나안 사람들에게는 다 철 병거가 있습니다."

  3. 산간지방도 당신들의 것이 될 것이오. 산간지방이라 하더라도, 그 곳을 개간하여 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 차지하시오. 가나안 사람들이 철 병거를 가져서 강하다 하더라도, 당신들은 그들을 쫓아낼 수 있소."
 
  베냐민 지파의 땅(18:1-18:28)    
 
  1. Then the whole congregation of the sons of Israel assembled themselves at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there; and the land was subdued before them.
  2. There remained among the sons of Israel seven tribes who had not divided their inheritance.
  3. So Joshua said to the sons of Israel, "How long will you put off entering to take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?
  4. "Provide for yourselves three men from each tribe that I may send them, and that they may arise and walk through the land and write a description of it according to their inheritance; then they shall return to me.
  5. "They shall divide it into seven portions; Judah shall stay in its territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall stay in their territory on the north.
  1. 이스라엘 자손이 그 땅을 정복한 뒤의 일이다. 이스라엘 자손 온 회중이 실로에 모여서, 거기에 회막을 세웠다.
  2. 그러나 이스라엘 자손 가운데 유산을 아직도 받지 못한 지파가 일곱이나 남아 있었다.
  3. 그래서 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 이렇게 말하였다. "당신들은 어느 때까지 주 당신들 조상의 하나님이 당신들에게 주신 땅을 차지하러 가기를 미루겠소?
  4. 당신들은 각 지파에서 세 사람씩을 선출하시오. 내가 그들을 그리로 보내겠소. 그들이 가서 그 땅을 두루 다닌 뒤에, 자기 지파가 유산으로 받을 땅의 모양을 그려서 내게로 가져 오도록 하겠소.
  5. 그 땅은 일곱 몫으로 나눌 것이오. 유다는 남쪽의 자기 영토에 머물고, 요셉 족속은 북쪽의 자기 영토에 머물도록 하시오.
  1. "You shall describe the land in seven divisions, and bring the description here to me. I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
  2. "For the Levites have no portion among you, because the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance. Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh also have received their inheritance eastward beyond the Jordan, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them."
  3. Then the men arose and went, and Joshua commanded those who went to describe the land, saying, "Go and walk through the land and describe it, and return to me; then I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh."
  4. So the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities in seven divisions in a book; and they came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
  5. And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD, and there Joshua divided the land to the sons of Israel according to their divisions.
  1. 당신들은 그 땅을 일곱 몫으로 나누어서 지도를 그리고, 그것을 여기 나에게로 가져 오시오. 그러면 내가 여기 주 우리 하나님 앞에서 제비를 뽑아서, 당신들의 몫을 결정하겠소.
  2. 그러나 당신들 가운데서 레위 사람은 받을 몫이 없소. 주님의 제사장이라는 직분이 곧 그들의 유산이기 때문이오. 또한 갓과 르우벤과 므낫세 반쪽 지파는, 주님의 종 모세가 요단 강 건너 동쪽에서 그들에게 준 유산을 이미 받았소."
  3. 그 땅의 모양을 그리러 가는 사람들이 떠나려 할 때에, 여호수아가 그들에게 지시하였다. "가서 그 땅을 두루 다녀 보고, 그 지도를 그려서 내게로 돌아오시오. 내가 여기 실로에서 주님 앞에서 제비를 뽑아서 당신들의 몫을 결정하겠소."
  4. 그 사람들이 가서 그 땅을 두루 다니며 성읍의 명단을 작성하여, 책에 일곱 몫으로 그려서, 실로의 진에 있는 여호수아에게 돌아왔다.
  5. 실로에서 여호수아는 주님 앞에서 제비를 뽑고, 거기에서 그는 이스라엘 자손의 각 지파에게 그 땅을 나누어 주었다.
  1. Now the lot of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin came up according to their families, and the territory of their lot lay between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.
  2. Their border on the north side was from the Jordan, then the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward, and it ended at the wilderness of Beth-aven.
  3. From there the border continued to Luz, to the side of Luz (that is, Bethel) southward; and the border went down to Ataroth-addar, near the hill which lies on the south of lower Beth-horon.
  4. The border extended from there and turned round on the west side southward, from the hill which lies before Beth-horon southward; and it ended at Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), a city of the sons of Judah. This was the west side.
  5. Then the south side was from the edge of Kiriath-jearim, and the border went westward and went to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah.
  1. 첫 번째로 베냐민 자손 지파의 각 가문의 몫을 결정할 제비를 뽑았다. 제비로 뽑은 땅의 경계선은 유다 자손과 요셉 자손의 중간이었다.
  2. 그들의 북쪽 경계선은 요단 강에서부터 여리고 북쪽 비탈로 올라가서, 서쪽 산간지방을 지나 벳아웬 광야에 이르고,

  1. The border went down to the edge of the hill which is in the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward; and it went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the slope of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En-rogel.
  2. It extended northward and went to En-shemesh and went to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, and it went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
  3. It continued to the side in front of the Arabah northward and went down to the Arabah.
  4. The border continued to the side of Beth-hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.
  5. Moreover, the Jordan was its border on the east side. This was the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, according to their families and according to its borders all around.
  1. 르바임 골짜기 북쪽에 있는 힌놈의 아들 골짜기 맞은쪽 산기슭으로 내려가고, 다시 힌놈 골짜기로 내려가서는, 여부스 남쪽 비탈을 지나서 엔로겔로 내려간다.
  2. 그 경계선은 다시 북쪽으로 나아가 엔세메스에 이르고, 아둠밈 비탈 맞은편의 글릴롯으로 나간 다음에, 르우벤의 아들 보한의 돌까지 내려간다.

  1. Now the cities of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho and Beth-hoglah and Emek-keziz,
  2. and Beth-arabah and Zemaraim and Bethel,
  3. and Avvim and Parah and Ophrah,
  4. and Chephar-ammoni and Ophni and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.
  5. Gibeon and Ramah and Beeroth,
  1. 베냐민 자손의 지파가 그들의 가문을 따라 차지한 성읍은, 여리고와 벳호글라와 에멕그시스와
  2. 벳아라바와 스마라임과 베델과
  3. 아윔과 바라와 오브라와
  4. 그발암모니와 오브니와 게바, 이렇게 열두 성읍과 그 주변 마을들,
  5. 또 기브온과 라마와 브에롯과
  1. and Mizpeh and Chephirah and Mozah,
  2. and Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah,
  3. and Zelah, Haeleph and the Jebusite (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah, Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages This is the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin according to their families.
  1. 미스바와 그비라와 모사와
  2. 레겜과 이르브엘과 다랄라와
  3. 셀라와 엘렙과 여부스 곧 예루살렘과 기부앗과 기럇, 이렇게 열네 성읍과 그 주변 마을들이다. 이것이 베냐민 자손이 그 가문을 따라 얻은 유산이다.
 
  시므온·스블론 지파의 땅(19:1-19:16)    
 
  1. Then the second lot fell to Simeon, to the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families, and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
  2. So they had as their inheritance Beersheba or Sheba and Moladah,
  3. and Hazar-shual and Balah and Ezem,
  4. and Eltolad and Bethul and Hormah,
  5. and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth and Hazar-susah,
  1. 두 번째로 시므온 곧 시므온 자손 지파의 각 가문의 몫을 결정할 제비를 뽑았다. 그들의 유산은 유다 자손의 몫 가운데서 차지하였다.
  2. 다음은 그들이 차지한 유산이다. 브엘세바 곧 세바와 몰라다와
  3. 하살수알과 발라와 에셈과
  4. 엘돌랏과 브둘과 호르마와
  5. 시글락과 벳말가봇과 하살수사와
  1. and Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;
  2. Ain, Rimmon and Ether and Ashan; four cities with their villages;
  3. and all the villages which were around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the Negev. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families.
  4. The inheritance of the sons of Simeon was taken from the portion of the sons of Judah, for the share of the sons of Judah was too large for them; so the sons of Simeon received an inheritance in the midst of Judah's inheritance.
  5. Now the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families. And the territory of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
  1. 벳르바옷과 사루헨, 이렇게 열세 성읍과 그 주변 마을들,
  2. 또 아인과 림몬과 에델과 아산, 이렇게 네 성읍과 그 주변 마을들,
  3. 또 남쪽 라마 곧 바알랏브엘까지, 이 성읍들을 둘러 있는 모든 마을이 시므온 자손의 지파가 그 가문을 따라 받은 유산이다.
  4. 시므온 자손은 유다 자손의 몫 가운데서 그들의 유산을 받았다. 유다 자손의 몫이 필요 이상으로 크기 때문에, 시므온 자손이 그들의 몫을 유다 지파의 유산 가운데서 받은 것이다.
  5. 세 번째로 스불론 자손의 각 가문의 몫을 결정할 제비를 뽑았다. 그들이 받은 유산의 경계선은 사릿까지 미치고,
  1. Then their border went up to the west and to Maralah, it then touched Dabbesheth and reached to the brook that is before Jokneam.
  2. Then it turned from Sarid to the east toward the sunrise as far as the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it proceeded to Daberath and up to Japhia.
  3. From there it continued eastward toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and it proceeded to Rimmon which stretches to Neah.
  4. The border circled around it on the north to Hannathon, and it ended at the valley of Iphtahel.
  5. Included also were Kattah and Nahalal and Shimron and Idalah and Bethlehem; twelve cities with their villages.
  1. 거기서 서쪽으로 올라가서 마랄라에 이르고, 답베셋을 만나서 욕느암 맞은쪽 개울에 미친다.
  2. 그 경계선이 사릿에서부터는 동쪽으로 돌아서 해 뜨는 쪽으로 기슬롯다볼의 경계선에 이르고, 다브랏까지 나아가서 야비아로 올라간다.
  3. 거기에서부터 동쪽으로 가드헤벨을 지나서 엣가신에 이르고, 림몬으로 나와서 네아 쪽으로 구부러진다.
  4. 거기에서 경계선은 북쪽으로 돌아서 한나돈까지 가고, 입다엘 골짜기에 이르러서 그 끝이 된다.
  5. 또 갓닷과 나할랄과 시므론과 이달라와 베들레헴, 이렇게 열두 성읍과 그 주변 마을들이 여기에 포함된다.
  1. This was the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
  1. 이 성읍들과 그 주변 마을은, 스불론 자손이 그 가문을 따라 얻은 유산이다.
