	누가복음 22:54-23:12 체포되어 끌려가시는 예수님의 뒤를 따라가서 대제사장의 집 뜰에 들어간 베드로는 예수님의 예언대로 세 번 주님을 부인하고 말았다. 예수님은 대제사장의 집에서 모욕당하신 후, 산헤드린에서 신성 모독죄로 정죄받으셨다. 그 후 예수님은 로마 총독 빌라도와 갈릴리의 분봉왕 헤롯에게 심문을 받으셨다.

	베드로의 부인(22:54-22:71)

Having arrested Him, they led Him away and brought Him to the house of the high priest; but Peter was following at a distance.

After they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.

And a servant-girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight and looking intently at him, said, "This man was with Him too."

But he denied it, saying, "Woman, I do not know Him."

A little later, another saw him and said, "You are one of them too!" But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"

그들은 예수를 붙잡아서, 끌고 대제사장의 집으로 데리고 갔다. 그런데 베드로는 멀찍이 떨어져서 뒤따라갔다.

사람들이 뜰 한가운데 불을 피워놓고 둘러앉아 있는데, 베드로도 그들 가운데 끼여 앉아 있었다.

그 때에 한 하녀가 베드로가 불빛을 안고 앉아 있는 것을 보고, 그를 빤히 노려보고 말하였다. "이 사람도 그와 함께 있었어요."

그러나 베드로는 그것을 부인하여 이렇게 말하였다. "여보시오, 나는 그를 모르오."

조금 뒤에 다른 사람이 베드로를 보고서 말했다. "당신도 그들과 한패요." 그러나 베드로는 "이 사람아, 나는 아니란 말이오" 하고 말하였다.

After about an hour had passed, another man began to insist, saying, "Certainly this man also was with Him, for he is a Galilean too."

But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about." Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

The Lord turned and looked at Peter And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had told him, "Before a rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times."

And he went out and wept bitterly.

Now the men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking Him and beating Him,

그리고 한 시간쯤 지났을 때에, 또 다른 사람이 강경하게 주장하였다. "틀림없이, 이 사람도 그와 함께 있었소. 이 사람은 갈릴리 사람이니까요."

그러나 베드로는 이렇게 말하였다. "여보시오, 나는 당신이 무슨 소리를 하는지 모르겠소." 베드로가 아직 말을 채 끝내기도 전에, 곧 닭이 울었다.

주님께서 돌아서서 베드로를 똑바로 보셨다. 베드로는, 주님께서 자기에게 "오늘 닭이 울기 전에, 네가 세 번 나를 모른다고 할 것이다" 하신 그 말씀이 생각났다.

그리하여 그는 바깥으로 나가서 비통하게 울었다.

예수를 지키는 사람들이 예수를 때리면서 모욕하였다.

and they blindfolded Him and were asking Him, saying, "Prophesy, who is the one who hit You?"

And they were saying many other things against Him, blaspheming.

When it was day, the Council of elders of the people assembled, both chief priests and scribes, and they led Him away to their council chamber, saying,

"If You are the Christ, tell us." But He said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe;

and if I ask a question, you will not answer.

또 그들은 예수의 눈을 가리고 말하였다. "너를 때린 사람이 누구인지 알아맞추어 보아라."

그들은 그 밖에도 온갖 말로 모욕하면서 예수에게 욕설을 퍼부었다.

날이 밝으니, 백성의 장로회, 곧 대제사장들과 율법학자들이 모여서, 예수를 그들의 공의회로 끌고 가서,

이렇게 말하였다. "그대가 그리스도이면, 그렇다고 우리에게 말해 주시오." 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 그렇다고 여러분에게 말하더라도, 여러분은 믿지 않을 것이요,

내가 물어보아도, 여러분은 대답하지 않을 것이오.

"But from now on THE SON OF MAN WILL BE SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND of the power OF GOD."

And they all said, "Are You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am."

Then they said, "What further need do we have of testimony? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth."

그러나 이제부터 인자는 전능하신 하나님의 오른쪽에 앉게 될 것이오."

그러자 모두가 말하였다. "그러면 그대가 하나님의 아들이오?" 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 그라고 여러분이 말하고 있소."

그러자 그들은 말하였다. "이제 우리에게 무슨 증언이 더 필요하겠소? 우리가 그의 입에서 나오는 말을 직접 들었으니 말이오."

	빌라도와 헤롯의 심문(23:1-23:12)

Then the whole body of them got up and brought Him before Pilate.

And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King."

So Pilate asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" And He answered him and said, "It is as you say."

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, "I find no guilt in this man."

But they kept on insisting, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee even as far as this place."

그들 온 무리가 일어나서, 예수를 빌라도 앞으로 끌고 갔다.

그들이 예수를 고발하여 말하기를 "우리가 보니, 이 사람은 우리 민족을 오도하고, 황제에게 세금 바치는 것을 반대하고, 자칭 그리스도 곧 왕이라고 하였습니다."

그래서 빌라도가 예수께 물었다. "당신이 유대인의 왕이오?" 예수께서 빌라도에게 대답하셨다. "당신이 그렇게 말하고 있소."

빌라도가 대제사장들과 무리들에게 말하였다. "내가 보니 이 사람에게는 아무 죄도 없소."

그러나 그들은 이렇게 주장하였다. "그 사람은 갈릴리에서 시작해서 여기에 이르기까지, 온 유대를 누비면서 가르치며 백성을 선동하고 있습니다."

When Pilate heard it, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.

And when he learned that He belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who himself also was in Jerusalem at that time.

Now Herod was very glad when he saw Jesus; for he had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had been hearing about Him and was hoping to see some sign performed by Him.

And he questioned Him at some length; but He answered him nothing.

And the chief priests and the scribes were standing there, accusing Him vehemently.

빌라도가 이 말을 듣고서 물었다. "이 사람이 갈릴리 사람이오?"

그는 예수가 헤롯의 관할에 속한 것을 알고서, 예수를 헤롯에게 보냈는데, 마침 그 때에 헤롯이 예루살렘에 있었다.

헤롯은 예수를 보고 매우 기뻐하였다. 그는 예수의 소문을 들었으므로, 오래 전부터 예수를 보고자 하였고, 또 그는 예수가 어떤 기적을 일으키는 것을 보고 싶어하였다.

그래서 그는 예수께 여러 말로 물어 보았다. 그러나 예수께서는 그에게 아무 대답도 하지 않으셨다.

그런데 대제사장들과 율법학자들이 곁에 서 있다가, 예수를 맹렬하게 고발하였다.

And Herod with his soldiers, after treating Him with contempt and mocking Him, dressed Him in a gorgeous robe and sent Him back to Pilate.

Now Herod and Pilate became friends with one another that very day; for before they had been enemies with each other.

헤롯은 자기 호위병들과 함께 예수를 모욕하고 조롱하였다. 그런 다음에, 예수에게 화려한 옷을 입혀서 빌라도에게 도로 보냈다.

헤롯과 빌라도가 전에는 서로 원수였으나, 바로 그 날에 서로 친구가 되었다.
