- Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, And whom You teach out of Your law;
- That You may grant him relief from the days of adversity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked.
- For the LORD will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
- For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.
- Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?

- 주님, 주님께서 꾸짖으시고 주님의 법으로 친히 가르치시는 사람은 복이 많은 사람입니다.
- 이런 사람에게는 재난의 날에 벗어나게 하시고 악인들을 묻을 무덤을 팔 때까지 평안을 주실 것입니다.
- 주님께서는 주님의 백성을 외면하지 않으시며, 주님이 소유하신 백성을 버리지 않으실 것입니다.
- 판결은 반드시 정의를 따를 것이니, 마음이 정직한 사람이 모두 정의를 따를 것입니다.
- 누가 나를 위하여 일어나서 악인을 치며, 누가 나를 위하여 일어나서 행악자들을 대항할까?

- If the LORD had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
- If I should say, "My foot has slipped," Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up.
- When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.
- Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?
- They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.

- 주님께서 나를 돕지 아니하셨다면, 내 목숨은 벌써 적막한 곳으로 가 버렸을 것이다.
- 주님, 내가 미끄러진다고 생각할 때에는, 주님의 사랑이 나를 붙듭니다.
- 내 마음이 번거로울 때에는, 주님의 위로가 나를 달래 줍니다.
- 악한 재판장이 주님과 사귈 수 있습니까? 율례를 빌미로 재난을 만드는 자가 주님과 어울릴 수 있습니까?
- 그들은 모여서 의인의 생명을 노리며, 무죄한 사람에게 죄를 씌워 처형하려 합니다.

- But the LORD has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.
- He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The LORD our God will destroy them.

- 주님은 나의 요새, 나의 하나님은 내가 피할 반석이시다.
- 그들의 죄를 그들에게 물으시며, 그 악함을 벌하셔서, 그들을 없애 버리실 것이다. 주 우리 하나님께서 그들을 없애 버리실 것이다.
