에스겔 24:1-26:21

 하나님께서는 끓는 가마의 비유와 에스겔이 아내의 죽음을 애통해 하지 못하게 하는 표징을 통해 임박한 예루살렘의 멸망에 대해 예고하셨다. 또한 이스라엘 주변의 이방 민족인 암몬, 모압, 에돔, 블레셋, 두로의 멸망을 선포하셨으며, 그 원인은 그들이 이스라엘을 멸시하고 침공했으며 이스라엘의 멸망을 기뻐하고 조롱했기 때문이라고 하셨다.
  
  끓는 가마 비유(24:1-24:14)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,
  2. "Son of man, write the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.
  3. "Speak a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water in it;
  4. Put in it the pieces, Every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; Fill it with choice bones.
  5. "Take the choicest of the flock, And also pile wood under the pot. Make it boil vigorously. Also seethe its bones in it."
  1. 제 구년 열째 달 십일에, 주님께서 내게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "사람아, 너는 오늘 날짜, 바로 오늘 날짜를 기록하여 두어라. 바빌로니아 왕이 바로 오늘 예루살렘을 치기 시작하였다.
  3. 너는 저 반역하는 족속에게 한 가지 비유를 들어 그들에게 말하여라. '나 주 하나님이 말한다. 가마솥을 마련하여 걸고, 물을 부어라.
  4. 그 속에 고깃점들을 넣어라. 좋은 살코기와 넓적다리와 어깨를 골라서 모두 집어 넣고, 모든 뼈 가운데서 좋은 것들을 골라서 가득 넣어라.
  5. 양 떼 가운데서 가장 좋은 것을 잡아 넣어라. 아궁이에 장작불을 지펴라. 그 고기를 잘 삶되 가마솥 안의 뼈까지 무르도록 삶아라.
  1. 'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city, To the pot in which there is rust And whose rust has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, Without making a choice.
  2. "For her blood is in her midst; She placed it on the bare rock; She did not pour it on the ground To cover it with dust.
  3. "That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on the bare rock, That it may not be covered."
  4. 'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
  5. "Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, Boil the flesh well And mix in the spices, And let the bones be burned.
  1. 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 죄 없는 사람을 죽인 살인자의 성읍아, 속이 시뻘건 녹을 한 번도 씻지 않은 녹슨 가마솥아, 너에게 화가 미칠 것이다. 제비를 뽑을 것도 없이, 그 안에 든 고기를 하나하나 다 꺼내어라.
  2. 죄 없는 사람을 죽인 피가 그 성읍 한가운데 그대로 남아 있다. 피가 흙으로 덮이지도 못하였다. 그 피가 흙 위에 쏟아지지 않고 맨바위 위에 쏟아졌기 때문이다.
  3. 그 피가 흙에 덮이지 않게 맨바위에 쏟아 놓은 것은 바로 나다. 내가 분노를 일으켜 호되게 보복하려고 한 것이다.
  4. 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 죄 없는 사람을 죽인 살인자의 성읍아, 너에게 화가 미칠 것이다. 내가 장작 더미를 높이 쌓아 놓겠다.
  5. 나무를 많이 쌓고 불을 지펴서, 고기를 푹 삶아서 녹이고, 고기 국물을 바싹 졸이고, 뼈는 태워 버려라.
  1. "Then set it empty on its coals So that it may be hot And its bronze may glow And its filthiness may be melted in it, Its rust consumed.
  2. "She has wearied Me with toil, Yet her great rust has not gone from her; Let her rust be in the fire!
  3. "In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I would have cleansed you, Yet you are not clean, You will not be cleansed from your filthiness again Until I have spent My wrath on you.
  4. "I, the LORD, have spoken; it is coming and I will act I will not relent, and I will not pity and I will not be sorry; according to your ways and according to your deeds I will judge you," declares the Lord GOD.'"
  1. 그 빈 가마솥을 숯불 위에 올려 놓아, 가마솥을 뜨거워지게 하며, 가마솥의 놋쇠를 달궈서, 가마솥 안의 더러운 것을 녹이며, 가마솥의 녹을 태워 없애라.
  2. 이 성읍이 온갖 고생으로 지쳤으나, 그 많은 녹이 가마솥에서 없어지지 않으며, 불로 아무리 달구어도 녹이 없어지지 않는다.
  3. 너의 더러운 죄 가운데는 음행이 있다. 음행으로 더러워진 너의 몸을 내가 깨끗하게 하려 하였으나, 네가 너 자신의 더러움에서 깨끗하게 되려고 하지 않았으니, 내가 너에게 분노를 다 쏟을 때까지는, 네가 다시 깨끗하게 되지 못할 것이다.
  4. 나 주가 말하였으니, 반드시 이루어진다. 내가 그대로 하겠다. 내가 돌이키지 않으며, 아끼지도 않으며, 뉘우치지도 않겠다. 너의 모든 행실과 너의 모든 행위대로 네가 심판을 받을 것이다. 나 주 하나님의 말이다.'"
 
  멸망 예언(24:15-24:27)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, behold, I am about to take from you the desire of your eyes with a blow; but you shall not mourn and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not come.
  3. "Groan silently; make no mourning for the dead Bind on your turban and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your mustache and do not eat the bread of men."
  4. So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. And in the morning I did as I was commanded.
  5. The people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things that you are doing mean for us?"
  1. 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "사람아, 나는 너의 눈에 들어 좋아하는 사람을 단번에 쳐죽여, 너에게서 빼앗아 가겠다. 그래도 너는 슬퍼하거나 울거나 눈물을 흘리지 말아라.
  3. 너는 고요히 탄식하며, 죽은 사람을 두고 슬퍼하지 말고, 오히려 머리를 수건으로 동이고, 발에 신을 신어라. 또 수염을 가리지도 말고, 초상집 음식을 차려서 먹지도 말아라."
  4. 아침에 내가 백성에게 이 이야기를 하였는데, 나의 아내가 저녁에 죽었다. 나는 그 다음날 아침에 지시를 받은 대로 하였다.
  5. 그러자 백성이 나에게 물었다. 내가 하고 있는 일이 자기들에게 무엇을 뜻하는지 알려 주지 않겠느냐는 것이었다.
  1. Then I said to them, "The word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. 'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I am about to profane My sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes and the delight of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
  3. 'You will do as I have done; you will not cover your mustache and you will not eat the bread of men.
  4. 'Your turbans will be on your heads and your shoes on your feet. You will not mourn and you will not weep, but you will rot away in your iniquities and you will groan to one another.
  5. 'Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done you will do; when it comes, then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.'"
  1. 그래서 나는 '주님께서 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다'고 하면서 그들에게 대답하였다.
  2. '너는 이스라엘 족속에게 전하여라. 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 너희 권세의 자랑이요, 너희 눈에 들어 좋아하는 것이요, 너희가 마음으로 사모하는 내 성소를 이제 내가 더럽히겠다. 너희가 이 성읍에 남겨 둔 너희의 아들과 딸들도 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
  3. 그래도 너희는 에스겔이 한 것과 똑같이 하게 될 것이다. 너희는 수염을 가리지도 못하고, 초상집 음식을 차려서 먹지도 못할 것이다.
  4. 너희는 머리에 수건을 동이고, 발에 신을 신은 채로 그대로 있을 것이며, 탄식하지도 못하고 울지도 못할 것이다. 오히려 너희는 너희 자신의 죄로 망하는 줄 알고 서로 마주 보며 탄식할 것이다.
  5. 에스겔이 이와 같이 너희에게 표징이 될 것이다. 너희도 그가 한 것과 똑같이 하게 될 것이다. 이 일이 이루어질 때에야, 너희는 비로소 내가 주 하나님인 줄 알게 될 것이다.'
  1. 'As for you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their stronghold, the joy of their pride, the desire of their eyes and their heart's delight, their sons and their daughters,
  2. that on that day he who escapes will come to you with information for your ears?
  3. 'On that day your mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the LORD.'"
  1. "그러나 너 사람아, 내가 그들에게서, 그들의 요새, 그들의 기쁨과 영광과 그들의 눈에 들어 좋아하며 마음으로 사모하는 것을 빼앗고, 그들의 아들딸들을 데려가는 날,
  2. 그 날에는 탈출한 사람이 너에게 와서, 네 귀에 소식을 전하여 줄 것이다.
  3. 그 날에 네 입이 열려 그 탈출한 사람에게 이야기를 하고, 다시는 말을 못하는 사람이 되지 않을 것이다. 네가 이와 같이 그들에게 표징이 되면, 그 때에야 그들이 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알게 될 것이다."
 
  열방에 대한 심판 예언(25:1-26:21)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, set your face toward the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them,
  3. and say to the sons of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because you said, 'Aha!' against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,
  4. therefore, behold, I am going to give you to the sons of the east for a possession, and they will set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
  5. "I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Thus you will know that I am the LORD."
  1. 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "사람아, 암몬 자손이 있는 쪽으로 얼굴을 돌리고, 그들을 규탄하는 예언을 하여라.
  3. 너는 암몬 자손에게 전하여라. '그들에게 나 주 하나님의 말을 들으라고 하여라. 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 내 성전이 더럽혀졌을 때에, 너는 그것을 보고 잘 되었다고 하였고, 이스라엘 땅이 황폐하게 되었을 때에, 너희는 그것을 보고도 잘 되었다고 하였고, 유다 백성이 포로로 잡혀 끌려갔을 때에도, 그들을 보고 잘 되었다고 소리쳤다.
  4. 그러므로 내가 너를 동방 사람들의 소유로 넘겨 주겠다. 그들이 네 땅에 들어와서 진을 치고, 네 땅 가운데 자기들이 살 장막을 칠 것이다. 그들이 네 땅에서 나는 열매를 먹고, 네 땅에서 나는 젖을 마실 것이다.
  5. 내가 랍바를 낙타의 우리로 만들고, 암몬 족속이 사는 곳을 양 떼가 눕는 곳으로 만들겠다. 그 때에야 너희가 비로소, 내가 주인 줄을 알게 될 것이다.
  1. 'For thus says the Lord GOD, "Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the scorn of your soul against the land of Israel,
  2. therefore, behold, I have stretched out My hand against you and I will give you for spoil to the nations And I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from the lands; I will destroy you Thus you will know that I am the LORD."
  3. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because Moab and Seir say, 'Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,'
  4. therefore, behold, I am going to deprive the flank of Moab of its cities, of its cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and Kiriathaim,
  5. and I will give it for a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the sons of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.
  1. 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 이스라엘 땅이 황폐해졌을 때에, 너는 이것을 고소하게 여겨, 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 좋아하였고, 경멸에 찬 마음으로 기뻐하였으므로,
  2. 내가 내 손을 뻗쳐서 너를 치고, 네가 여러 민족에게 약탈을 당하도록 너를 넘겨 주겠다. 내가 이렇게 너를 만민 가운데서 끊어 버리며, 여러 나라 가운데서 너를 망하게 하겠다. 내가 너를 망하게 놓아 두겠다. 그 때에야 너는 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다.'"
  3. "나 주 하나님이 말한다. 모압이 말하기를, 유다 족속도 모든 이방 백성이나 다름이 없다고 한다.
  4. 그러므로 내가 모압의 국경지역에 있는 성읍들 곧 그 나라의 자랑인 벳여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임이 적의 공격을 받도록 허용하겠다.
  5. 나는 암몬 족속과 함께 모압도 동방 사람들의 소유로 넘겨 주어, 이방 백성 가운데서 암몬 족속이 다시는 기억되지 않게 하겠다.
  1. "Thus I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD."
  2. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because Edom has acted against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has incurred grievous guilt, and avenged themselves upon them,"
  3. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "I will also stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off man and beast from it And I will lay it waste; from Teman even to Dedan they will fall by the sword.
  4. "I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel Therefore, they will act in Edom according to My anger and according to My wrath; thus they will know My vengeance," declares the Lord GOD.
  5. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because the Philistines have acted in revenge and have taken vengeance with scorn of soul to destroy with everlasting enmity,"
  1. 이렇게 내가 모압을 심판하면, 그 때에야 그들이 비로소 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다."
  2. "나 주 하나님이 말한다. 에돔이 지나친 복수심을 품고 유다 족속을 괴롭히며, 그들에게 지나치게 보복함으로써 큰 죄를 지었다.
  3. 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 내가 손을 뻗쳐서 에돔을 치고, 그 땅에서 사람과 짐승을 없애 버리며, 그 땅을 데만에서부터 드단에 이르기까지 황무지로 만들어 버리겠고, 백성은 모두 전화를 입고 죽을 것이다.
  4. 내가 내 백성 이스라엘의 손으로 에돔에게 원수를 갚겠다. 그들이 내 노여움과 분노에 따라서 보복하면, 그 때에야 에돔이 비로소, 내가 보복하였음을 알 것이다. 나 주 하나님의 말이다."
  5. "나 주 하나님이 말한다. 블레셋 사람이 옛날부터 품어 온 원한으로 이스라엘을 멸망시키려고, 복수심에 불타서, 마음 속에 앙심을 품고, 지나치게 보복하였다.
  1. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, even cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
  2. "I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they will know that I am the LORD when I lay My vengeance on them."'"
  1. 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 내가 손을 펴서 블레셋 사람들을 치고, 그렛 사람들을 없애 버리며, 바닷가에 살아 남은 사람들까지도 멸망시키겠다.
  2. 내가 노하여 무섭게 벌하며 그들에게 크게 보복하겠다. 내가 그들에게 나의 원한을 갚으면, 그 때에야 그들은 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다."
 
 
  1. Now in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, because Tyre has said concerning Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gateway of the peoples is broken; it has opened to me. I shall be filled, now that she is laid waste,'
  3. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.
  4. 'They will destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers; and I will scrape her debris from her and make her a bare rock.
  5. 'She will be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken,' declares the Lord GOD, 'and she will become spoil for the nations.
  1. 제 십일년 어느 달 초하루에 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "사람아, 두로가 예루살렘을 두고 '아하, 뭇 백성의 관문이 부서지고, 성의 모든 문이 활짝 열렸구나. 예루살렘이 황무지가 되었으니, 이제는 내가 번영하게 되었다'고 말하였다.
  3. 그러므로 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 두로야, 내가 너를 쳐서, 바다가 물결을 치며 파도를 일으키듯이, 여러 민족들이 밀려와서 너를 치게 하겠다.
  4. 그들이 두로의 성벽을 무너뜨리고, 그 곳의 망대들을 허물어뜨릴 것이다. 내가 그 곳에서 먼지를 말끔히 씻어 내고 맨바위만 드러나도록 하겠다.
  5. 그러면 두로가 바다 가운데서 그물이나 말리는 곳이 될 것이다. 내가 한 말이니, 그대로 될 것이다. 나 주 하나님의 말이다. 두로가 여러 민족에게 약탈을 당할 것이다.
  1. 'Also her daughters who are on the mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am the LORD.'"
  2. For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will bring upon Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, chariots, cavalry and a great army.
  3. "He will slay your daughters on the mainland with the sword; and he will make siege walls against you, cast up a ramp against you and raise up a large shield against you.
  4. "The blow of his battering rams he will direct against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers.
  5. "Because of the multitude of his horses, the dust raised by them will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of cavalry and wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city that is breached.
  1. 해변에 있는 두로의 성읍들도 칼에 죽을 것이다. 그 때에야 그들이 비로소, 내가 주인 줄 알 것이다.
  2. 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 내가 왕들 가운데 으뜸가는 왕, 바빌로니아 왕 느부갓네살을 북쪽에서 데려다가 두로를 치겠다. 그가 말과 병거와 기병과 군대와 많은 백성을 이끌고 올 것이다.
  3. 네 땅에 자리잡고 있는 네 딸 성읍들을 그가 칼로 죽일 것이다. 그가 너를 치려고 높은 사다리를 세운다. 너를 공격하려고 흙 언덕을 쌓고, 방패를 갖춘다.
  4. 쇠망치로 네 성벽을 허물고, 갖가지 허무는 연장으로 네 망대들을 부술 것이다.
  5. 그의 군마들이 많아서, 너는 그들의 먼지에 묻힐 것이다. 그가 마치 무너진 성읍 안으로 들어오듯이, 네 모든 성문 안으로 들어오면, 그의 기병과 병거의 바퀴 소리에 네 모든 성벽이 진동할 것이다.
  1. "With the hoofs of his horses he will trample all your streets He will slay your people with the sword; and your strong pillars will come down to the ground.
  2. "Also they will make a spoil of your riches and a prey of your merchandise, break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses, and throw your stones and your timbers and your debris into the water.
  3. "So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps will be heard no more.
  4. "I will make you a bare rock; you will be a place for the spreading of nets. You will be built no more, for I the LORD have spoken," declares the Lord GOD.
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD to Tyre, "Shall not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall when the wounded groan, when the slaughter occurs in your midst?
  1. 그가 말발굽으로 네 거리를 짓밟을 것이고, 칼로 네 백성을 죽일 것이며, 네 튼튼한 돌기둥들도 땅바닥에 쓰러뜨릴 것이다.
  2. 그의 군인들이 너에게 와서 재산을 강탈하고, 상품들을 약탈하고, 성벽들을 허물고, 마음에 드는 집들을 무너뜨리고, 모든 석재와 목재와 흙덩이까지도 바다 속으로 집어 던질 것이다.
  3. 내가, 네 모든 노랫소리를 그치게 하며, 네 수금 소리가 다시는 들리지 않게 하겠다.
  4. 내가 너를 맨바위로 만들겠고, 너는 그물이나 말리는 곳이 되고, 다시는 아무도 너를 새로 짓지 못할 것이다. 내가 한 말이니, 그대로 될 것이다. 나 주 하나님의 말이다.
  5. 나 주 하나님이 두로를 두고 말한다. 네가 쓰러지는 소리가 들리고, 네 한가운데서 부상 당한 자들이 신음하고, 놀라운 살육이 저질러질 때에, 섬들이 진동하지 않을 수 있겠느냐?
  1. "Then all the princes of the sea will go down from their thrones, remove their robes and strip off their embroidered garments They will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, tremble every moment and be appalled at you.
  2. "They will take up a lamentation over you and say to you, 'How you have perished, O inhabited one, From the seas, O renowned city, Which was mighty on the sea, She and her inhabitants, Who imposed her terror On all her inhabitants!
  3. 'Now the coastlands will tremble On the day of your fall; Yes, the coastlands which are by the sea Will be terrified at your passing.'"
  4. For thus says the Lord GOD, "When I make you a desolate city, like the cities which are not inhabited, when I bring up the deep over you and the great waters cover you,
  5. then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lower parts of the earth, like the ancient waste places, with those who go down to the pit, so that you will not be inhabited; but I will set glory in the land of the living.
  1. 그 때에는 해변 주민의 왕들이 그들의 왕좌에서 내려오고, 그들의 왕복을 벗고, 수 놓은 옷들도 벗어 버릴 것이다. 그들은 두려움에 사로잡혀 땅바닥에 앉아서, 때도 없이 떨며, 너 때문에 놀랄 것이다.
  2. 그들은 너를 두고 애가를 지어 부를 것이다. 너 항해자들이 머물던 성읍아, 네가 어쩌다가 이렇게 망하였느냐, 그렇게도 이름을 날리던 성읍, 바다에서 세력을 떨치던 그 성읍, 그 주민과 그 성읍이, 온 육지를 떨게 하지 않았던가!
  3. 오늘 네가 쓰러지니, 섬들이 떨고 있다. 바다에 있는 섬들이, 네 종말을 지켜 보며 놀라고 있다.
  4. 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 내가 너를, 사람이 살지 않는 성읍처럼, 황폐한 성읍으로 만들고, 깊은 물결을 네 위로 끌어올려서 많은 물이 너를 덮어 버리게 하고,
  5. 너를, 구덩이로 내려가는 사람들과 함께 내려가 옛날에 죽은 사람들에게로 가게 하겠다. 그리고 내가 너를, 구덩이로 내려간 사람들과 함께 저 아래 깊은 땅 속, 태고적부터 황폐하여진 곳으로 들어가서 살게 하여, 네가 다시는 이전 상태로 회복되거나 사람들이 사는 땅에서 한 모퉁이를 차지하지 못하게 하겠다.
