- 정의와 신의를 좇아서 살면, 생명과 번영과 영예를 얻는다.
- 지혜로운 사람은 용사들이 지키는 성에 올라가서, 그들이 든든히 믿는 요새도 무너뜨린다.
- 입과 혀를 지킬 수 있는 사람은, 역경 속에서도 자기의 목숨을 지킬 수 있다.
- 교만하고 건방진 사람을 오만한 자라고 하는데, 그런 사람은 우쭐대며 무례하게 행동한다.
- 게으른 사람의 욕심이 스스로를 죽이기까지 하는 것은, 어떠한 일도 제 손으로 하기를 싫어하기 때문이다.
