  1. The LORD spoke again to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'The LORD'S appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations--My appointed times are these:
  3. 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.
  4. 'These are the appointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.
  5. 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the LORD'S Passover.
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.
  3. " 'There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD.
  4. " 'These are the LORD's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:
  5. The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.
  1. 'Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
  2. 'On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.
  3. 'But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.'"
  4. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  5. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.
  1. On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast.
  2. On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
  3. For seven days present an offering made to the LORD by fire. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.' "
  4. The LORD said to Moses,
  5. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.
  1. 'He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
  2. 'Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD.
  3. 'Its grain offering shall then be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the LORD for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine.
  4. 'Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
  5. 'You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths.
  1. He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.
  2. On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect,
  3. together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil--an offering made to the LORD by fire, a pleasing aroma--and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.
  4. You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
  5. " 'From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.
  1. 'You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the LORD.
  2. 'You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to the LORD.
  3. 'Along with the bread you shall present seven one year old male lambs without defect, and a bull of the herd and two rams; they are to be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  4. 'You shall also offer one male goat for a sin offering and two male lambs one year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
  5. 'The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before the LORD; they are to be holy to the LORD for the priest.
  1. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.
  2. From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the LORD.
  3. Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings--an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  4. Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering.
  5. The priest is to wave the two lambs before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the LORD for the priest.
  1. 'On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation You shall do no laborious work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.
  2. 'When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the LORD your God.'"
  3. Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  4. "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
  5. 'You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.'"
  1. On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
  2. " 'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.' "
  3. The LORD said to Moses,
  4. "Say to the Israelites: 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.
  5. Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the LORD by fire.' "
  1. The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD.
  3. "You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God.
  4. "If there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, he shall be cut off from his people.
  5. "As for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  3. Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.
  4. Anyone who does not deny himself on that day must be cut off from his people.
  5. I will destroy from among his people anyone who does any work on that day.
  1. "You shall do no work at all. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
  2. "It is to be a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall humble your souls; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath."
  3. Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  4. "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the LORD.
  5. 'On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind.
  1. You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
  2. It is a sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath."
  3. The LORD said to Moses,
  4. "Say to the Israelites: 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD's Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.
  5. The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.
  1. 'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.
  2. 'These are the appointed times of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to the LORD--burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each day's matter on its own day--
  3. besides those of the sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts and besides all your votive and freewill offerings, which you give to the LORD.
  4. 'On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day.
  5. 'Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.
  1. For seven days present offerings made to the LORD by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work.
  2. (" 'These are the LORD's appointed feasts, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing offerings made to the LORD by fire--the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day.
  3. These offerings are in addition to those for the LORD's Sabbaths and in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the LORD.)
  4. " 'So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest.
  5. On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.
  1. 'You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  2. 'You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths,
  3. so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'"
  4. So Moses declared to the sons of Israel the appointed times of the LORD.
  1. Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.
  2. Live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths
  3. so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.' "
  4. So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.
