  Á¦ÀÚÀÇ Á¶°Ç(9:51-9:62)

  1. When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;
  2. and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.
  3. But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem.
  4. When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"
  5. But He turned and rebuked them, [and said, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;
  1. As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.
  2. And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him;
  3. but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem.
  4. When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?"
  5. But Jesus turned and rebuked them,
  1. for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."] And they went on to another village.
  2. As they were going along the road, someone said to Him, "I will follow You wherever You go."
  3. And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
  4. And He said to another, "Follow Me." But he said, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."
  5. But He said to him, "Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God."
  1. and they went to another village.
  2. As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."
  3. Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
  4. He said to another man, "Follow me." But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father."
  5. Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
  1. Another also said, "I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say good-bye to those at home."
  2. But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
  1. Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family."
  2. Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

  1. Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.
  2. And He was saying to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
  3. "Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.
  4. "Carry no money belt, no bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way.
  5. "Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.'
  1. After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.
  2. He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
  3. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
  4. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.
  5. "When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace to this house.'
  1. "If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.
  2. "Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.
  3. "Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you;
  4. and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'
  5. "But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
  1. If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
  2. Stay in that house, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
  3. "When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you.
  4. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'
  5. But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say,
  1. 'Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.'
  2. "I say to you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
  3. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
  4. "But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
  5. "And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!
  1. 'Even the dust of your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.'
  2. I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
  3. "Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
  4. But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
  5. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths.
  1. "The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me."
  1. "He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me."
