시편 78:23-78:31

 아삽은 출애굽 광야 생활 동안의 이스라엘의 불순종의 역사를 회고하고 있다.
  
 
  1. Yet He commanded the clouds above And opened the doors of heaven;
  2. He rained down manna upon them to eat And gave them food from heaven.
  3. Man did eat the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance.
  4. He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His power He directed the south wind.
  5. When He rained meat upon them like the dust, Even winged fowl like the sand of the seas,
  1. Yet he gave a command to the skies above and opened the doors of the heavens;
  2. he rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven.
  3. Men ate the bread of angels; he sent them all the food they could eat.
  4. He let loose the east wind from the heavens and led forth the south wind by his power.
  5. He rained meat down on them like dust, flying birds like sand on the seashore.
  1. Then He let them fall in the midst of their camp, Round about their dwellings.
  2. So they ate and were well filled, And their desire He gave to them.
  3. Before they had satisfied their desire, While their food was in their mouths,
  4. The anger of God rose against them And killed some of their stoutest ones, And subdued the choice men of Israel.
  1. He made them come down inside their camp, all around their tents.
  2. They ate till they had more than enough, for he had given them what they craved.
  3. But before they turned from the food they craved, even while it was still in their mouths,
  4. God's anger rose against them; he put to death the sturdiest among them, cutting down the young men of Israel.
