À¯´ÙÀÇ Ãß°¡Àû Á·º¸¿Í ¿­µÎ ÁöÆÄ Áß¿¡¼­ ½Ã¹Ç¿Â, ¸£¿ìº¥, °«, ¿ä´Ü µ¿Æí ¹Ç³´¼¼ ¹Ý ÁöÆÄÀÇ Á·º¸°¡ ±â·ÏµÇ¾î ÀÖ´Ù.
 
  À¯´Ù¿Í ½Ã¹Ç¿Â ÁöÆÄÀÇ Á·º¸(4:1-4:43)    
 
  1. The sons of Judah were Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur and Shobal.
  2. Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath, and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the families of the Zorathites.
  3. These were the sons of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma and Idbash; and the name of their sister was Hazzelelponi.
  4. Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These were the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
  5. Ashhur, the father of Tekoa, had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
  1. The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur and Shobal.

  5. Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!" And God granted him what he requested.

  5. Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.
  1. Chelub the brother of Shuhah became the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
  2. Eshton became the father of Beth-rapha and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These are the men of Recah.
  3. Now the sons of Kenaz were Othniel and Seraiah. And the sons of Othniel were Hathath and Meonothai.
  4. Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge-harashim, for they were craftsmen.
  5. The sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh were Iru, Elah and Naam; and the son of Elah was Kenaz.

  5. Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag,
  1. The descendants of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son and Shimei his son.
  2. Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters, but his brothers did not have many children; so their entire clan did not become as numerous as the people of Judah.
  3. They lived in Beersheba, Moladah, Hazar Shual,
  4. Bilhah, Ezem, Tolad,
  5. Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag,
  1. Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susim, Beth-biri and Shaaraim. These were their cities until the reign of David.
  2. Their villages were Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen and Ashan, five cities;
  3. and all their villages that were around the same cities as far as Baal. These were their settlements, and they have their genealogy.
  4. Meshobab and Jamlech and Joshah the son of Amaziah,
  5. and Joel and Jehu the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
  1. Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susim, Beth Biri and Shaaraim. These were their towns until the reign of David.
  2. Their surrounding villages were Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Token and Ashan--five towns-
  3. and all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath. These were their settlements. And they kept a genealogical record.
  4. Meshobab, Jamlech, Joshah son of Amaziah,
  5. Joel, Jehu son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
  1. and Elioenai, Jaakobah, Jeshohaiah, Asaiah, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaiah,
  2. Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;
  3. these mentioned by name were leaders in their families; and their fathers' houses increased greatly.
  4. They went to the entrance of Gedor, even to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
  5. They found rich and good pasture, and the land was broad and quiet and peaceful; for those who lived there formerly were Hamites.
  1. also Elioenai, Jaakobah, Jeshohaiah, Asaiah, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaiah,
  2. and Ziza son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah.
  3. The men listed above by name were leaders of their clans. Their families increased greatly,
  4. and they went to the outskirts of Gedor to the east of the valley in search of pasture for their flocks.
  5. They found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful and quiet. Some Hamites had lived there formerly.
  1. These, recorded by name, came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and attacked their tents and the Meunites who were found there, and destroyed them utterly to this day, and lived in their place, because there was pasture there for their flocks.
  2. From them, from the sons of Simeon, five hundred men went to Mount Seir, with Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi, as their leaders.
  3. They destroyed the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and have lived there to this day.
  1. The men whose names were listed came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah. They attacked the Hamites in their dwellings and also the Meunites who were there and completely destroyed them, as is evident to this day. Then they settled in their place, because there was pasture for their flocks.
  2. And five hundred of these Simeonites, led by Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi, invaded the hill country of Seir.

  1. Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (for he was the firstborn, but because he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel; so that he is not enrolled in the genealogy according to the birthright.
  2. Though Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came the leader, yet the birthright belonged to Joseph),
  3. the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
  4. The sons of Joel were Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
  5. Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
  1. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (he was the firstborn, but when he defiled his father's marriage bed, his rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel; so he could not be listed in the genealogical record in accordance with his birthright,
  2. and though Judah was the strongest of his brothers and a ruler came from him, the rights of the firstborn belonged to Joseph)-
  3. the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
  4. The descendants of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
  5. Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
  1. Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away into exile; he was leader of the Reubenites.
  2. His kinsmen by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, were Jeiel the chief, then Zechariah
  3. and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who lived in Aroer, even to Nebo and Baal-meon.
  4. To the east he settled as far as the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates, because their cattle had increased in the land of Gilead.
  5. In the days of Saul they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hand, so that they occupied their tents throughout all the land east of Gilead.
  1. and Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria took into exile. Beerah was a leader of the Reubenites.
  2. Their relatives by clans, listed according to their genealogical records: Jeiel the chief, Zechariah,
  3. and Bela son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel. They settled in the area from Aroer to Nebo and Baal Meon.
  4. To the east they occupied the land up to the edge of the desert that extends to the Euphrates River, because their livestock had increased in Gilead.
  5. During Saul's reign they waged war against the Hagrites, who were defeated at their hands; they occupied the dwellings of the Hagrites throughout the entire region east of Gilead.
  1. Now the sons of Gad lived opposite them in the land of Bashan as far as Salecah.

  3. The sons of Reuben and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, consisting of valiant men, men who bore shield and sword and shot with bow and were skillful in battle, were 44,760, who went to war.
  4. They made war against the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish and Nodab.
  5. They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.
  1. The Gadites lived in Gilead, in Bashan and its outlying villages, and on all the pasturelands of Sharon as far as they extended.
  2. All these were entered in the genealogical records during the reigns of Jotham king of Judah and Jeroboam king of Israel.
  3. The Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men ready for military service--able-bodied men who could handle shield and sword, who could use a bow, and who were trained for battle.
  4. They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish and Nodab.
  5. They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.
  1. They took away their cattle: their 50,000 camels, 250,000 sheep, 2,000 donkeys; and 100,000 men.
  2. For many fell slain, because the war was of God And they settled in their place until the exile.
  3. Now the sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the land; from Bashan to Baal-hermon and Senir and Mount Hermon they were numerous.
  4. These were the heads of their fathers' households, even Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah and Jahdiel, mighty men of valor, famous men, heads of their fathers' households.
  5. But they acted treacherously against the God of their fathers and played the harlot after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.
  1. They seized the livestock of the Hagrites--fifty thousand camels, two hundred fifty thousand sheep and two thousand donkeys. They also took one hundred thousand people captive,
  2. and many others fell slain, because the battle was God's. And they occupied the land until the exile.
  3. The people of the half-tribe of Manasseh were numerous; they settled in the land from Bashan to Baal Hermon, that is, to Senir (Mount Hermon).
  4. These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah and Jahdiel. They were brave warriors, famous men, and heads of their families.
  5. But they were unfaithful to the God of their fathers and prostituted themselves to the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.
  1. So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul, king of Assyria, even the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away into exile, namely the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara and to the river of Gozan, to this day.
  1. So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria (that is, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria), who took the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh into exile. He took them to Halah, Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan, where they are to this day.
