고린도후서 6:14-7:4

 바울은 성도들에게 믿지 않는 자와 멍에를 같이 하지 말라고 권면하면서 하나님을 두려워하는 가운데 거룩함을 온전히 이루고 자신을 깨끗케 하라고 하였다.
  
  구별된 생활(6:14-7:4)    
 
  1. Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
  2. Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
  3. Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
  4. "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
  5. "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty.
  1. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
  2. What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
  3. What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
  4. "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."
  5. "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
 
 
  1. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  2. Make room for us in your hearts; we wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we took advantage of no one.
  3. I do not speak to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and to live together.
  4. Great is my confidence in you; great is my boasting on your behalf I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.
  1. Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
  2. Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have exploited no one.
  3. I do not say this to condemn you; I have said before that you have such a place in our hearts that we would live or die with you.
  4. I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.
