  3. He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

  1. Let a man meet a bear robbed of her cubs, Rather than a fool in his folly.
  2. He who returns evil for good, Evil will not depart from his house.
  3. The beginning of strife is like letting out water, So abandon the quarrel before it breaks out.
  4. He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.
  5. Why is there a price in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, When he has no sense?
  1. Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly.
  2. If a man pays back evil for good, evil will never leave his house.
  3. Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.
  4. Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent-- the LORD detests them both.
  5. Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?
  1. A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
