  1. As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"
  2. When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."
  3. Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you according to your faith."
  4. And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: "See that no one knows about this!"
  5. But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.
  1. And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
  2. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
  3. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
  4. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
  5. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
  1. As they were going out, a mute, demon-possessed man was brought to Him.
  2. After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel."
  3. But the Pharisees were saying, "He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons."
  4. Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
  5. Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
  1. As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
  2. And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
  3. But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
  4. And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
  5. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
  1. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
  2. "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
  1. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
  2. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

  1. Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
  2. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
  3. Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
  4. Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.
  5. These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans;
  1. And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
  2. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
  3. Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
  4. Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
  5. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
  1. but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
  2. "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
  3. "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
  4. "Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,
  5. or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support.
  1. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
  2. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
  3. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
  4. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
  5. Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
  1. "And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay at his house until you leave that city.
  2. "As you enter the house, give it your greeting.
  3. "If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.
  4. "Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
  5. "Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
  1. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
  2. And when ye come into an house, salute it.
  3. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
  4. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
  5. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
