  1. Moreover, from the blue and purple and scarlet material, they made finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  2. He made the ephod of gold, and of blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen.
  3. Then they hammered out gold sheets and cut them into threads to be woven in with the blue and the purple and the scarlet material, and the fine linen, the work of a skillful workman.
  4. They made attaching shoulder pieces for the ephod; it was attached at its two upper ends.
  5. The skillfully woven band which was on it was like its workmanship, of the same material: of gold and of blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  1. And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  2. And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
  3. And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
  4. They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
  5. And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. They made the onyx stones, set in gold filigree settings; they were engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel.
  2. And he placed them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  3. He made the breastpiece, the work of a skillful workman, like the workmanship of the ephod: of gold and of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen.
  4. It was square; they made the breastpiece folded double, a span long and a span wide when folded double.
  5. And they mounted four rows of stones on it. The first row was a row of ruby, topaz, and emerald;
  1. And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
  2. And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  3. And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
  4. It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
  5. And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
  1. and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire and a diamond;
  2. and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
  3. and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were set in gold filigree settings when they were mounted.
  4. The stones were corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes.
  5. They made on the breastpiece chains like cords, of twisted cordage work in pure gold.
  1. And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
  2. And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
  3. And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.
  4. And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
  5. And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.
  1. They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastpiece.
  2. Then they put the two gold cords in the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.
  3. They put the other two ends of the two cords on the two filigree settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it.
  4. They made two gold rings and placed them on the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge which was next to the ephod.
  5. Furthermore, they made two gold rings and placed them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it, close to the place where it joined, above the woven band of the ephod.
  1. And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
  2. And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
  3. And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.
  4. And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.
  5. And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
  1. They bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it would be on the woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece would not come loose from the ephod, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  2. Then he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue;
  3. and the opening of the robe was at the top in the center, as the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding all around its opening, so that it would not be torn.
  4. They made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material and twisted linen on the hem of the robe.
  5. They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe,
  1. And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  2. And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
  3. And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
  4. And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
  5. And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
  1. alternating a bell and a pomegranate all around on the hem of the robe for the service, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  2. They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,
  3. and the turban of fine linen, and the decorated caps of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twisted linen,
  4. and the sash of fine twisted linen, and blue and purple and scarlet material, the work of the weaver, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  5. They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed it like the engravings of a signet, "Holy to the LORD."
  1. A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  2. And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
  3. And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
  4. And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  5. And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
  1. They fastened a blue cord to it, to fasten it on the turban above, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  2. Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was completed; and the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses; so they did.
  3. They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars and its sockets;
  4. and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of porpoise skins, and the screening veil;
  5. the ark of the testimony and its poles and the mercy seat;
  1. And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  2. Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
  3. And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
  4. And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,
  5. The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
  1. the table, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;
  2. the pure gold lampstand, with its arrangement of lamps and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
  3. and the gold altar, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the veil for the doorway of the tent;
  4. the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the laver and its stand;
  5. the hangings for the court, its pillars and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords and its pegs and all the equipment for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
  1. The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
  2. The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
  3. And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
  4. The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
  5. The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
  1. the woven garments for ministering in the holy place and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.
  2. So the sons of Israel did all the work according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses.
  3. And Moses examined all the work and behold, they had done it; just as the LORD had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.
  1. The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
  2. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
  3. And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
  3. "You shall place the ark of the testimony there, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
  4. "You shall bring in the table and arrange what belongs on it; and you shall bring in the lampstand and mount its lamps.
  5. "Moreover, you shall set the gold altar of incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the veil for the doorway to the tabernacle.
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  2. On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
  3. And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
  4. And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
  5. And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
  1. "You shall set the altar of burnt offering in front of the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
  2. "You shall set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it.
  3. "You shall set up the court all around and hang up the veil for the gateway of the court.
  4. "Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall consecrate it and all its furnishings; and it shall be holy.
  5. "You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
  1. And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
  2. And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
  3. And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
  4. And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
  5. And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
  1. "You shall anoint the laver and its stand, and consecrate it.
  2. "Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
  3. "You shall put the holy garments on Aaron and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister as a priest to Me.
  4. "You shall bring his sons and put tunics on them;
  5. and you shall anoint them even as you have anointed their father, that they may minister as priests to Me; and their anointing will qualify them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."
  1. And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.
  2. And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
  3. And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
  4. And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
  5. And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
  1. Thus Moses did; according to all that the LORD had commanded him, so he did.
  2. Now in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.
  3. Moses erected the tabernacle and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and inserted its bars and erected its pillars.
  4. He spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  5. Then he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.
  1. Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
  2. And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
  3. And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
  4. And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  5. And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
  1. He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up a veil for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  2. Then he put the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.
  3. He set the arrangement of bread in order on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  4. Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.
  5. He lighted the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  1. And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  2. And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
  3. And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  4. And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
  5. And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. Then he placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the veil;
  2. and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  3. Then he set up the veil for the doorway of the tabernacle.
  4. He set the altar of burnt offering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  5. He placed the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.
  1. And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
  2. And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  3. And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
  4. And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  5. And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
  1. From it Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet.
  2. When they entered the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  3. He erected the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the veil for the gateway of the court. Thus Moses finished the work.
  4. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
  5. Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
  1. And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
  2. When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  3. And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
  4. Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
  5. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
  1. Throughout all their journeys whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out;
  2. but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day when it was taken up.
  3. For throughout all their journeys, the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.
  1. And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
  2. But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
  3. For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
