  1. O God, when You went forth before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, Selah.
  2. The earth quaked; The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
  3. You shed abroad a plentiful rain, O God; You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched.
  4. Your creatures settled in it; You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.
  5. The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:
  1. O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
  2. The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
  3. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
  4. Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
  5. The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
  1. "Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home will divide the spoil!"
  2. When you lie down among the sheepfolds, You are like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And its pinions with glistening gold.
  3. When the Almighty scattered the kings there, It was snowing in Zalmon.
  4. A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
  5. Why do you look with envy, O mountains with many peaks, At the mountain which God has desired for His abode? Surely the LORD will dwell there forever.
  1. Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
  2. Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
  3. When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
  4. The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
  5. Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
  1. The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.
  2. You have ascended on high, You have led captive Your captives; You have received gifts among men, Even among the rebellious also, that the LORD God may dwell there.
  1. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
  2. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
