  1. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
  2. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
  3. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
  4. that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
  5. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
  1. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
  2. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
  3. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
  4. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
  5. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
  1. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.
  2. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?
  3. But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
  4. In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
  5. and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
  1. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
  2. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
  3. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
  4. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
  5. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
  1. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
  2. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
  3. and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
  4. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
  5. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
  1. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
  2. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
  3. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
  4. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
  5. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
  1. Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies;
  2. who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
  3. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  4. Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED."
  5. But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
  1. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
  2. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
  3. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  4. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
  5. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
  1. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
  2. nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  1. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
  2. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
