  1. Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.
  2. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.
  3. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
  4. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
  5. Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
  1. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
  2. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
  3. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
  4. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
  5. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
  1. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
  2. As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
  3. This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
  4. These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you.
  5. As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
  1. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
  2. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
  3. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
  4. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
  5. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
  1. Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.
  2. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.
  1. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
  2. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

  1. See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
  2. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
  3. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
  4. Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
  5. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.
  1. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
  2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
  3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
  4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
  5. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
  1. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him.
  1. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
