  À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ Á˾ǻó(5:1-8:14)

  1. Hear this, O priests! Give heed, O house of Israel! Listen, O house of the king! For the judgment applies to you, For you have been a snare at Mizpah And a net spread out on Tabor.
  2. The revolters have gone deep in depravity, But I will chastise all of them.
  3. I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you have played the harlot, Israel has defiled itself.
  4. Their deeds will not allow them To return to their God. For a spirit of harlotry is within them, And they do not know the LORD.
  5. Moreover, the pride of Israel testifies against him, And Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also has stumbled with them.
  1. Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
  2. And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
  3. I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
  4. They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
  5. And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.
  1. They will go with their flocks and herds To seek the LORD, but they will not find Him; He has withdrawn from them.
  2. They have dealt treacherously against the LORD, For they have borne illegitimate children Now the new moon will devour them with their land.
  3. Blow the horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah Sound an alarm at Beth-aven: "Behind you, Benjamin!"
  4. Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.
  5. The princes of Judah have become like those who move a boundary; On them I will pour out My wrath like water.
  1. They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
  2. They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
  3. Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.
  4. Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
  5. The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
  1. Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, Because he was determined to follow man's command.
  2. Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim And like rottenness to the house of Judah.
  3. When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb But he is unable to heal you, Or to cure you of your wound.
  4. For I will be like a lion to Ephraim And like a young lion to the house of Judah I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away, and there will be none to deliver.
  5. I will go away and return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.
  1. Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
  2. Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
  3. When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
  4. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
  5. I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

  1. "Come, let us return to the LORD For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
  2. "He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him.
  3. "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."
  4. What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is like a morning cloud And like the dew which goes away early.
  5. Therefore I have hewn them in pieces by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And the judgments on you are like the light that goes forth.
  1. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
  2. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
  3. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
  4. O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
  5. Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
  1. For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
  2. But like Adam they have transgressed the covenant; There they have dealt treacherously against Me.
  3. Gilead is a city of wrongdoers, Tracked with bloody footprints.
  4. And as raiders wait for a man, So a band of priests murder on the way to Shechem; Surely they have committed crime.
  5. In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; Ephraim's harlotry is there, Israel has defiled itself.
  1. For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
  2. But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
  3. Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
  4. And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
  5. I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
  1. Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, When I restore the fortunes of My people.
  1. Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

  1. When I would heal Israel, The iniquity of Ephraim is uncovered, And the evil deeds of Samaria, For they deal falsely; The thief enters in, Bandits raid outside,
  2. And they do not consider in their hearts That I remember all their wickedness Now their deeds are all around them; They are before My face.
  3. With their wickedness they make the king glad, And the princes with their lies.
  4. They are all adulterers, Like an oven heated by the baker Who ceases to stir up the fire From the kneading of the dough until it is leavened.
  5. On the day of our king, the princes became sick with the heat of wine; He stretched out his hand with scoffers,
  1. When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.
  2. And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
  3. They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
  4. They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
  5. In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
  1. For their hearts are like an oven As they approach their plotting; Their anger smolders all night, In the morning it burns like a flaming fire.
  2. All of them are hot like an oven, And they consume their rulers; All their kings have fallen None of them calls on Me.
  3. Ephraim mixes himself with the nations; Ephraim has become a cake not turned.
  4. Strangers devour his strength, Yet he does not know it; Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him, Yet he does not know it.
  5. Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, Yet they have not returned to the LORD their God, Nor have they sought Him, for all this.
  1. For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
  2. They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.
  3. Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
  4. Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
  5. And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
  1. So Ephraim has become like a silly dove, without sense; They call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
  2. When they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like the birds of the sky I will chastise them in accordance with the proclamation to their assembly.
  3. Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction is theirs, for they have rebelled against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me.
  4. And they do not cry to Me from their heart When they wail on their beds; For the sake of grain and new wine they assemble themselves, They turn away from Me.
  5. Although I trained and strengthened their arms, Yet they devise evil against Me.
  1. Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
  2. When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
  3. Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
  4. And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
  5. Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
  1. They turn, but not upward, They are like a deceitful bow; Their princes will fall by the sword Because of the insolence of their tongue This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.
  1. They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

  1. Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law.
  2. They cry out to Me, "My God, we of Israel know You!"
  3. Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him.
  4. They have set up kings, but not by Me; They have appointed princes, but I did not know it With their silver and gold they have made idols for themselves, That they might be cut off.
  5. He has rejected your calf, O Samaria, saying, "My anger burns against them!" How long will they be incapable of innocence?
  1. Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
  2. Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
  3. Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
  4. They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
  5. Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
  1. For from Israel is even this! A craftsman made it, so it is not God; Surely the calf of Samaria will be broken to pieces.
  2. For they sow the wind And they reap the whirlwind The standing grain has no heads; It yields no grain. Should it yield, strangers would swallow it up.
  3. Israel is swallowed up; They are now among the nations Like a vessel in which no one delights.
  4. For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a wild donkey all alone; Ephraim has hired lovers.
  5. Even though they hire allies among the nations, Now I will gather them up; And they will begin to diminish Because of the burden of the king of princes.
  1. For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
  2. For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
  3. Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
  4. For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
  5. Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.
  1. Since Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin, They have become altars of sinning for him.
  2. Though I wrote for him ten thousand precepts of My law, They are regarded as a strange thing.
  3. As for My sacrificial gifts, They sacrifice the flesh and eat it, But the LORD has taken no delight in them Now He will remember their iniquity, And punish them for their sins; They will return to Egypt.
  4. For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; And Judah has multiplied fortified cities, But I will send a fire on its cities that it may consume its palatial dwellings.
  1. Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
  2. I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
  3. They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
  4. For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
