출애굽기

  본서는 하나님의 기적적인 구속의 역사를 통해 선민 이스라엘 백성들의 조상과 맺은 언약을 성취하시는 하나님, 구원의 하나님, 경배의 대상이 되는 야웨 하나님을 나타내고 있으며, 구원받은 자들이 꼭 지켜야 할 삶의 원리를 보여 주고 있다.

  요셉을 모르는 왕의 통치 아래서 노예로 전락한 이스라엘 백성들은 심한 고통을 당하여 하나님께 울부짖는다. 하나님께서는 그들의 소리를 들으시고 모세를 세우셔서 애굽의 압제에서 해방시키신다. 홍해를 건너 시내 산에 도착한 이스라엘 백성들은 하나님께로부터 율법과 성막에 관한 계시를 받고 성막을 완성하여 봉헌한다.

 

 

출애굽기 1:1-2:25

 애굽으로 이주한 야곱의 자손들이 번성하여 강대한 민족이 되었다. 그러자 이에 두려움을 느낀 바로는 그들에게 노역을 시키고 히브리인 남아 살해 명령을 내렸다. 이러한 상황에서 모세는 태어난 지 3개월 만에 하숫가에 버려졌으나 바로의 딸에게 발견되어 바로의 궁에서 살게 되었다. 그러나 어느 날 동족을 학대하는 애굽인을 살해한 모세는 미디안 광야로 도망하여 그 곳에서 40년 간 생활하게 되었다.
  
  이스라엘의 고난(1:1-1:22)    
 
  1. Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob; they came each one with his household:
  2. Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah;
  3. Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin;
  4. Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher.
  5. All the persons who came from the loins of Jacob were seventy in number, but Joseph was already in Egypt.
  1. さて， ヤコブ といっしょに， それぞれ 自分の 家族を 連れて， エジプト へ 行った イスラエル の 子たちの 名は 次のとおりである．
  2. ルベン ， シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ．
  3. イッサカル ， ゼブルン と， ベニヤミン ．
  4. ダン と ナフタリ ． ガド と アシェル ．
  5. ヤコブ から 生まれた 者の 總數は 七十人であった． ヨセフ はすでに エジプト にいた．
  1. Joseph died, and all his brothers and all that generation.
  2. But the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them.
  3. Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.
  4. He said to his people, "Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are more and mightier than we.
  5. "Come, let us deal wisely with them, or else they will multiply and in the event of war, they will also join themselves to those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land."
  1. そして ヨセフ もその 兄弟たちも， またその 時代の 人¿もみな 死んだ．
  2. イスラエル 人は 多産だったので， おびただしくふえ， すこぶる 强くなり， その 地は 彼らで 滿ちた．
  3. さて， ヨセフ のことを 知らない 新しい 王が エジプト に 起こった．
  4. 彼は 民に 言った． 「見よ． イスラエル の 民は， われわれよりも 多く， また 强い．
  5. さあ， 彼らを 賢く 取り 扱おう． 彼らが 多くなり， いざ 戰いというときに， 敵側についてわれわれと 戰い， この 地から 出て 行くといけないから． 」
  1. So they appointed taskmasters over them to afflict them with hard labor And they built for Pharaoh storage cities, Pithom and Raamses.
  2. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread out, so that they were in dread of the sons of Israel.
  3. The Egyptians compelled the sons of Israel to labor rigorously;
  4. and they made their lives bitter with hard labor in mortar and bricks and at all kinds of labor in the field, all their labors which they rigorously imposed on them.
  5. Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other was named Puah;
  1. そこで， 彼らを 苦役で 苦しめるために， 彼らの 上に 勞務の 係長を 置き， パロ のために 倉庫の 町 ピトム と ラメセス を 建てた．
  2. しかし 苦しめれば 苦しめるほど， この 民はますますふえ 廣がったので， 人¿は イスラエル 人を 恐れた．
  3. それで エジプト は イスラエル 人に 過酷な 勞¿を 課し，
  4. 粘土やれんがの 激しい 勞¿や， 畑のあらゆる 勞¿など， すべて， 彼らに 課する 過酷な 勞¿で， 彼らの 生活を 苦しめた．
  5. また， エジプト の 王は， ヘブル 人の 助産婦たちに 言った． そのひとりの 名は シフラ ， もうひとりの 名は プア であった．
  1. and he said, "When you are helping the Hebrew women to give birth and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, then you shall put him to death; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."
  2. But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live.
  3. So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, "Why have you done this thing, and let the boys live?"
  4. The midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife can get to them."
  5. So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty.
  1. 彼は 言った． 「ヘブル 人の 女に 分娩させるとき， 産み 台の 上を 見て， もしも 男の 子なら， それを 殺さなければならない． 女の 子なら， 生かしておくのだ． 」
  2. しかし， 助産婦たちは 神を 恐れ， エジプト の 王が 命じたとおりにはせず， 男の 子を 生かしておいた．
  3. そこで， エジプト の 王はその 助産婦たちを 呼び 寄せて 言った． 「なぜこのようなことをして， 男の 子を 生かしておいたのか． 」
  4. 助産婦たちは パロ に 答えた． 「ヘブル 人の 女は エジプト 人の 女と 違って 活力があるので， 助産婦が 行く 前に 産んでしまうのです． 」
  5. 神はこの 助産婦たちによくしてくださった． それで， イスラエル の 民はふえ， 非常に 强くなった．
  1. Because the midwives feared God, He established households for them.
  2. Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, "Every son who is born you are to cast into the Nile, and every daughter you are to keep alive."
  1. 助産婦たちは 神を 恐れたので， 神は 彼女たちの 家を 榮えさせた．
  2. また， パロ は 自分のすべての 民に 命じて 言った． 「生まれた 男の 子はみな， ナイル に 投げ ¿まなければならない． 女の 子はみな， 生かしておかなければならない． 」
 
  모세의 출생과 망명(2:1-2:25)    
 
  1. Now a man from the house of Levi went and married a daughter of Levi.
  2. The woman conceived and bore a son; and when she saw that he was beautiful, she hid him for three months.
  3. But when she could hide him no longer, she got him a wicker basket and covered it over with tar and pitch Then she put the child into it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile.
  4. His sister stood at a distance to find out what would happen to him.
  5. The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the Nile, with her maidens walking alongside the Nile; and she saw the basket among the reeds and sent her maid, and she brought it to her.
  1. さて， レビ の 家のひとりの 人が レビ 人の 娘をめとった．
  2. 女はみごもって， 男の 子を 産んだが， そのかわいいのを 見て， 三か 月の 間その 子を 隱しておいた．
  3. しかしもう 隱しきれなくなったので， パピルス 製のかごを 手に 入れ， それに ＝靑と 樹脂とを 塗って， その 子を 中に 入れ， ナイル の 岸の 葦の 茂みの 中に 置いた．
  4. その 子の 姉が， その 子がどうなるかを 知ろうとして， 遠く 離れて 立っていたとき，
  5. パロ の 娘が 水浴びをしようと ナイル に 降りて 來た． 彼女の 侍女たちは ナイル の 川邊を 步いていた． 彼女は 葦の 茂みにかごがあるのを 見， はしためをやって， それを 取って 來させた．
  1. When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the boy was crying. And she had pity on him and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."
  2. Then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women that she may nurse the child for you?"
  3. Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go ahead." So the girl went and called the child's mother.
  4. Then Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this child away and nurse him for me and I will give you your wages." So the woman took the child and nursed him.
  5. The child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. And she named him Moses, and said, "Because I drew him out of the water."
  1. それをあけると， 子どもがいた． なんと， それは 男の 子で， 泣いていた． 彼女はその 子をあわれに 思い， 「これはきっと ヘブル 人の 子どもです． 」と 言った．
  2. そのとき， その 子の 姉が パロ の 娘に 言った． 「あなたに 代わって， その 子に 乳を 飮ませるため， 私が 行って， ヘブル 女のうばを 呼んでまいりましょうか． 」
  3. パロ の 娘が「そうしておくれ． 」と 言ったので， おとめは 行って， その 子の 母を 呼んで 來た．
  4. パロ の 娘は 彼女に 言った． 「この 子を 連れて 行き， 私に 代わって 乳を 飮ませてください． 私があなたの 賃金を 拂いましょう． 」それで， その 女はその 子を 引き 取って， 乳を 飮ませた．
  5. その 子が 大きくなったとき， 女はその 子を パロ の 娘のもとに 連れて 行った． その 子は 王女の 息子になった． 彼女はその 子を モ ― セ と 名づけた． 彼女は， 「水の 中から， 私がこの 子を 引き 出したのです． 」と 言ったからである．
  1. Now it came about in those days, when Moses had grown up, that he went out to his brethren and looked on their hard labors; and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
  2. So he looked this way and that, and when he saw there was no one around, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
  3. He went out the next day, and behold, two Hebrews were fighting with each other; and he said to the offender, "Why are you striking your companion?"
  4. But he said, "Who made you a prince or a judge over us? Are you intending to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and said, "Surely the matter has become known."
  5. When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he tried to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the presence of Pharaoh and settled in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.
  1. こうして 日がたち， モ ― セ がおとなになったとき， 彼は 同胞のところへ 出て 行き， その 苦役を 見た． そのとき， 自分の 同胞であるひとりの ヘブル 人を， ある エジプト 人が 打っているのを 見た．
  2. あたりを 見回し， ほかにだれもいないのを 見屆けると， 彼はその エジプト 人を 打ち 殺し， これを 砂の 中に 隱した．
  3. 次の 日， また 外に 出てみると， なんと， ふたりの ヘブル 人が 爭っているではないか． そこで 彼は 惡いほうに「なぜ 自分の 仲間を 打つのか． 」と 言った．
  4. するとその 男は， 「だれがあなたを 私たちのつかさやさばきつかさにしたのか． あなたは エジプト 人を 殺したように， 私も 殺そうと 言うのか． 」と 言った． そこで モ ― セ は 恐れて， きっとあのことが 知れたのだと 思った．
  5. パロ はこのことを 聞いて， モ ― セ を 殺そうと 搜し 求めた． しかし， モ ― セ は パロ のところからのがれ， ミデヤン の 地に 住んだ． 彼は 井戶のかたわらにすわっていた．
  1. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and they came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
  2. Then the shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and helped them and watered their flock.
  3. When they came to Reuel their father, he said, "Why have you come back so soon today?"
  4. So they said, "An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and what is more, he even drew the water for us and watered the flock."
  5. He said to his daughters, "Where is he then? Why is it that you have left the man behind? Invite him to have something to eat."
  1. ミデヤン の 祭司に 七人の 娘がいた． 彼女たちが 父の 羊の 群れに 水を 飮ませるために 來て， 水を 汲み， 水ぶねに 滿たしていたとき，
  2. 羊飼いたちが 來て， 彼女たちを 追い 拂った． すると， モ ― セ は 立ち 上がり， 彼女たちを 救い， その 羊の 群れに 水を 飮ませた．
  3. 彼女たちが 父 レウエル のところに 歸ったとき， 父は 言った． 「どうしてきょうはこんなに 早く 歸って 來たのか． 」
  4. 彼女たちは 答えた． 「ひとりの エジプト 人が 私たちを 羊飼いたちの 手から 救い 出してくれました． そのうえその 人は， 私たちのために 水まで 汲み， 羊の 群れに 飮ませてくれました． 」
  5. 父は 娘たちに 言った． 「その 人はどこにいるのか． どうしてその 人を 置いて 來てしまったのか． 食事をあげるためにその 人を 呼んで 來なさい． 」
  1. Moses was willing to dwell with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses.
  2. Then she gave birth to a son, and he named him Gershom, for he said, "I have been a sojourner in a foreign land."
  3. Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage rose up to God.
  4. So God heard their groaning; and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  5. God saw the sons of Israel, and God took notice of them.
  1. モ ― セ は， 思い 切ってこの 人といっしょに 住むようにした． そこでその 人は 娘の チッポラ を モ ― セ に 與えた．
  2. 彼女は 男の 子を 産んだ． 彼はその 子を ゲルショム と 名づけた． 「私は 外國にいる 寄留者だ． 」と 言ったからである．
  3. それから 何年もたって， エジプト の 王は 死んだ． イスラエル 人は 勞役にうめき， わめいた． 彼らの 勞役の 叫びは 神に 屆いた．
  4. 神は 彼らの 嘆きを 聞かれ， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ との 契約を 思い 起こされた．
  5. 神は イスラエル 人をご 覽になった． 神はみこころを 留められた．
