민수기 4:34-5:31

 이스라엘 진은 하나님의 임재와 인도를 방해하는 요소들을 제거해야 했다. 문둥병자와 유출병자, 시체에 접촉하여 일시적으로 부정하게 된 자들이 진 밖으로 추방되었고, 죄지은 자들은 죄값을 치루어야 했다. 가정 파괴를 방지하기 위해, 남편이 아내의 간음을 의심할 경우 제사장은 저주가 되는 쓴 물을 사용하여 아내의 간음 여부를 판단하였다.
  
  성결 규례(4:34-5:31)    
 
  1. So Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families and by their fathers' households,
  2. from thirty years and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service for work in the tent of meeting.
  3. Their numbered men by their families were 2,750.
  4. These are the numbered men of the Kohathite families, everyone who was serving in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD through Moses.
  5. The numbered men of the sons of Gershon by their families and by their fathers' households,
  1. そこで モ ― セ と アロン と 會衆の 上に 立つ 者たちは， ケハテ 族をその 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに，
  2. 三十歲以上五十歲までの 者で， 會見の 天幕での 奉仕の 務めにつくことのできる 者を， すべて 登錄した．
  3. その 氏族ごとに 登錄された 者は， 二千七百五十人であった．
  4. これは ケハテ 人諸氏族で 登錄された 者であって， 會見の 天幕で 奉仕する 者の 全員であり， モ ― セ と アロン が， モ ― セ を 通して 示された 主の 命令によって 登錄した 者たちである．
  5. ゲルション 族で， その 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに 登錄され，
  1. from thirty years and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service for work in the tent of meeting.
  2. Their numbered men by their families, by their fathers' households, were 2,630.
  3. These are the numbered men of the families of the sons of Gershon, everyone who was serving in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD.
  4. The numbered men of the families of the sons of Merari by their families, by their fathers' households,
  5. from thirty years and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service for work in the tent of meeting.
  1. 三十歲以上五十歲までの 者で， 會見の 天幕での 奉仕の 務めにつくことのできる 者の 全員，
  2. その 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに 登錄された 者は， 二千六百三十人であった．
  3. これは ゲルション 諸氏族で 登錄された 者であって， 會見の 天幕で 奉仕する 者の 全員であり， モ ― セ と アロン が 主の 命により 登錄した 者たちである．
  4. メラリ 諸氏族で， その 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに 登錄され，
  5. 三十歲以上五十歲までの 者で， 會見の 天幕での 奉仕の 務めにつくことのできる 者の 全員，
  1. Their numbered men by their families were 3,200.
  2. These are the numbered men of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD through Moses.
  3. All the numbered men of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the leaders of Israel numbered, by their families and by their fathers' households,
  4. from thirty years and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who could enter to do the work of service and the work of carrying in the tent of meeting.
  5. Their numbered men were 8,580.
  1. その 氏族ごとに 登錄された 者は， 三千二百人であった．
  2. これは メラリ 諸氏族で 登錄された 者であって， モ ― セ と アロン が， モ ― セ を 通して 示された 主の 命令によって 登錄した 者たちである．
  3. モ ― セ と アロン と イスラエル の 族長たちが， レビ 人を， その 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに 登錄した 登錄者の 全員，
  4. 三十歲以上五十歲までの 者で 會見の 天幕で， ¿く 奉仕と， になう 奉仕をする 者全員，
  5. その 登錄された 者は， 八千五百八十人であった．
  1. According to the commandment of the LORD through Moses, they were numbered, everyone by his serving or carrying; thus these were his numbered men, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  1. モ ― セ を 通して 示された 主の 命令によって， 彼は， おのおのその 奉仕とそのになうものについて， 彼らを 登錄した． 主が モ ― セ に 命じたとおりに 登錄された 者たちである．
 
 
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Command the sons of Israel that they send away from the camp every leper and everyone having a discharge and everyone who is unclean because of a dead person.
  3. "You shall send away both male and female; you shall send them outside the camp so that they will not defile their camp where I dwell in their midst."
  4. The sons of Israel did so and sent them outside the camp; just as the LORD had spoken to Moses, thus the sons of Israel did.
  5. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  1. ついで 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「イスラエル 人に 命じて， らい 病人， 漏出を 病む 者， 死體によって 身を 汚している 者をすべて 宿營から 追い 出せ．
  3. 男でも 女でも 追い 出し， 彼らを 宿營の 外に 追い 出して， わたしがその 中に 住む 宿營を 汚さないようにしなければならない． 」
  4. イスラエル 人はそのようにして， 彼らを 宿營の 外に 追い 出した． 主が モ ― セ に 告げられたとおりに イスラエル 人は 行なった．
  5. ついで 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  1. "Speak to the sons of Israel, 'When a man or woman commits any of the sins of mankind, acting unfaithfully against the LORD, and that person is guilty,
  2. then he shall confess his sins which he has committed, and he shall make restitution in full for his wrong and add to it one-fifth of it, and give it to him whom he has wronged.
  3. 'But if the man has no relative to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution which is made for the wrong must go to the LORD for the priest, besides the ram of atonement, by which atonement is made for him.
  4. 'Also every contribution pertaining to all the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they offer to the priest, shall be his.
  5. 'So every man's holy gifts shall be his; whatever any man gives to the priest, it becomes his.'"
  1. 「イスラエル 人に 告げよ． 男にせよ， 女にせよ， 主に 對して 不信の 罪を 犯し， 他人に 何か 一つでも 罪を 犯し， 自分でその 罪を 認めたときは，
  2. 自分の 犯した 罪を 告白しなければならない． その 者は 罪過のために 總額を 弁償する． また， それにその 五分の 一を 加えて， 當の 被害者に 支拂わなければならない．
  3. もしその 人に， 罪過のための 弁償を 受け 取る 權利のある 親類がいなければ， その 弁償された 罪過のためのものは 主のものであり 祭司のものとなる． そのほか， その 者の 罪の ·いをするための ·いの 雄羊もそうなる．
  4. こうして イスラエル 人が 祭司のところに 持って 來るすべての 聖なる 奉納物はみな， 祭司のものとなる．
  5. すべて 人の 聖なるささげ 物は 祭司のものとなり， すべて 人が 祭司に 與えるものは 祭司のものとなる． 」
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'If any man's wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him,
  3. and a man has intercourse with her and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and she is undetected, although she has defiled herself, and there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act,
  4. if a spirit of jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife when she has defiled herself, or if a spirit of jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife when she has not defiled herself,
  5. the man shall then bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring as an offering for her one-tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he shall not pour oil on it nor put frankincense on it, for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of memorial, a reminder of iniquity.
  1. ついで 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「イスラエル 人に 告げて 言え． もし 人の 妻が 道をはずして 夫に 對して 不信の 罪を 犯し，
  3. 男が 彼女と 寢て 交わったが， そのことが 彼女の 夫の 目に 隱れており， 彼女は 身を 汚したが， 發見されず， それに 對する 證人もなく， またその 場で 彼女が 捕えられもしなかった 場合，
  4. 妻が 身を 汚していて， 夫にねたみの 心が 起こって 妻をねたむか， あるいは 妻が 身を 汚していないのに， 夫にねたみの 心が 起こって 妻をねたむかする 場合，
  5. 夫は 妻を 祭司のところに 連れて 行き， 彼女のために 大麥の 粉十分の 一 エパ をささげ 物として 携えて 行きなさい． この 上に 油をそそいでも 乳香を 加えてもいけない． これはねたみのささげ 物， 咎を 思い 出す 覺えの 穀物のささげ 物だからである．
  1. 'Then the priest shall bring her near and have her stand before the LORD,
  2. and the priest shall take holy water in an earthenware vessel; and he shall take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water.
  3. 'The priest shall then have the woman stand before the LORD and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and place the grain offering of memorial in her hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy, and in the hand of the priest is to be the water of bitterness that brings a curse.
  4. 'The priest shall have her take an oath and shall say to the woman, "If no man has lain with you and if you have not gone astray into uncleanness, being under the authority of your husband, be immune to this water of bitterness that brings a curse;
  5. if you, however, have gone astray, being under the authority of your husband, and if you have defiled yourself and a man other than your husband has had intercourse with you"
  1. 祭司は， その 女を 近寄らせ， 主の 前に 立たせる．
  2. 祭司はきよい 水を 土の 器に 取り， 幕屋の 床にあるちりを 取ってその 水に 入れる．
  3. 祭司は， 主の 前に 女を 立たせて， その 女の 髮の 毛をとかせ， その 手にねたみのささげ 物である 覺えの 穀物のささげ 物を 與える． 祭司の 手にはのろいをもたらす 苦い 水がなければならない．
  4. 祭司は 女に 誓わせ， これに 言う． 『もしも， 他の 男があなたと 寢たことがなく， またあなたが 夫のもとにありながら 道ならぬことをして 汚れたことがなければ， あなたはこののろいをもたらす 苦い 水の 害を 受けないように．
  5. しかしあなたが， もし 夫のもとにありながら 道ならぬことを 行なって 身を 汚し， 夫以外の 男があなたと 寢たのであれば， 』
  1. (then the priest shall have the woman swear with the oath of the curse, and the priest shall say to the woman), "the LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people by the LORD'S making your thigh waste away and your abdomen swell;
  2. and this water that brings a curse shall go into your stomach, and make your abdomen swell and your thigh waste away." And the woman shall say, "Amen. Amen."
  3. 'The priest shall then write these curses on a scroll, and he shall wash them off into the water of bitterness.
  4. 'Then he shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that brings a curse, so that the water which brings a curse will go into her and cause bitterness.
  5. 'The priest shall take the grain offering of jealousy from the woman's hand, and he shall wave the grain offering before the LORD and bring it to the altar;
  1. ··そこで 祭司はその 女にのろいの 誓いを 誓わせ， これに 言う． ··『主があなたのももをやせ 衰えさせ， あなたの 腹をふくれさせ， あなたの 民のうちにあって 主があなたをのろいとし 誓いとされるように．
  2. またこののろいをもたらす 水があなたのからだにはいって 腹をふくれさせ， ももをやせ 衰えさせるように． 』その 女は， 『ア ― メン ， ア ― メン ． 』と 言う．
  3. 祭司はこののろいを 書き 物に 書き， それを 苦い 水の 中に 洗い 落とす．
  4. こののろいをもたらす 苦い 水をその 女に 飮ませると， のろいをもたらす 水が 彼女の 中にはいって 苦くなるであろう．
  5. 祭司は 女の 手からねたみのささげ 物を 取り， この 穀物のささげ 物を 主に 向かって ¿り 動かし， それを 祭壇にささげる．
  1. and the priest shall take a handful of the grain offering as its memorial offering and offer it up in smoke on the altar, and afterward he shall make the woman drink the water.
  2. 'When he has made her drink the water, then it shall come about, if she has defiled herself and has been unfaithful to her husband, that the water which brings a curse will go into her and cause bitterness, and her abdomen will swell and her thigh will waste away, and the woman will become a curse among her people.
  3. 'But if the woman has not defiled herself and is clean, she will then be free and conceive children.
  4. 'This is the law of jealousy: when a wife, being under the authority of her husband, goes astray and defiles herself,
  5. or when a spirit of jealousy comes over a man and he is jealous of his wife, he shall then make the woman stand before the LORD, and the priest shall apply all this law to her.
  1. 祭司は， その 穀物のささげ 物から 記念の 部分をひとつかみ 取って， それを 祭壇で 燒いて 煙とする． その 後に， 女にその 水を 飮ませなければならない．
  2. その 水を 飮ませたときに， もし， その 女が 夫に 對して 不信の 罪を 犯して 身を 汚していれば， のろいをもたらす 水はその 女の 中にはいって 苦くなり， その 腹はふくれ， そのももはやせ 衰える． その 女は， その 民の 間でのろいとなる．
  3. しかし， もし 女が 身を 汚しておらず， きよければ， 害を 受けず， 子を 宿すようになる．
  4. これがねたみの 場合のおしえである． 女が 夫のもとにありながら 道ならぬことをして 身を 汚したり，
  5. または 人にねたみの 心が 起こって， 自分の 妻をねたむ 場合には， その 妻を 主の 前に 立たせる． そして 祭司は 女にこのおしえをすべて 適用する．
  1. 'Moreover, the man will be free from guilt, but that woman shall bear her guilt.'"
  1. 夫には 咎がなく， その 妻がその 咎を 負うのである． 」
