- Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart,
- but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
- And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
- in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
- For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.

- こういうわけで， 私たちは， あわれみを 受けてこの 務めに 任じられているのですから， 勇氣を 失うことなく，
- 恥ずべき 隱された 事を 捨て， 惡巧みに 步まず， 神のことばを 曲げず， 眞理を 明らかにし， 神の 御前で 自分自身をすべての 人の 良心に 推薦しています．
- それでもなお 私たちの 福音におおいが 掛かっているとしたら， それは， 滅びる 人¿のばあいに， おおいが 掛かっているのです．
- そのばあい， この 世の 神が 不信者の 思いをくらませて， 神のかたちである キリスト の 榮光にかかわる 福音の 光を 輝かせないようにしているのです．
- 私たちは 自分自身を 宣べ 傳えるのではなく， 主なる キリスト · イエス を 宣べ 傳えます． 私たち 自身は， イエス のために， あなたがたに 仕えるしもべなのです．

- For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
- But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
- we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;
- persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
- always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

- 「光が， やみの 中から 輝き 出よ． 」と 言われた 神は， 私たちの 心を 照らし， キリスト の 御顔にある 神の 榮光を 知る 知識を 輝かせてくださったのです．
- 私たちは， この 寶を， 土の 器の 中に 入れているのです． それは， この 測り 知れない 力が 神のものであって， 私たちから 出たものでないことが 明らかにされるためです．
- 私たちは， 四方八方から 苦しめられますが， 窮することはありません． 途方にくれていますが， 行きづまることはありません．
- 迫害されていますが， 見捨てられることはありません． 倒されますが， 滅びません．
- いつでも イエス の 死をこの 身に 帶びていますが， それは， イエス のいのちが 私たちの 身において 明らかに 示されるためです．

- For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
- So death works in us, but life in you.
- But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak,
- knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you.
- For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.

- 私たち 生きている 者は， イエス のために 絶えず 死に 渡されていますが， それは， イエス のいのちが 私たちの 死ぬべき 肉體において 明らかに 示されるためなのです．
- こうして， 死は 私たちのうちに ¿き， いのちはあなたがたのうちに ¿くのです．
- 「私は 信じた． それゆえに 語った． 」と 書いてあるとおり， それと 同じ 信仰の 靈を 持っている 私たちも， 信じているゆえに 語るのです．
- それは， 主 イエス をよみがえらせた 方が， 私たちをも イエス とともによみがえらせ， あなたがたといっしょに 御前に 立たせてくださることを 知っているからです．
- すべてのことはあなたがたのためであり， それは， 惠みがますます 多くの 人¿に 及んで 感謝が 滿ちあふれ， 神の 榮光が 現われるようになるためです．
