- 憎しみは 爭いをひき 起こし， 愛はすべてのそむきの 罪をおおう．
- 悟りのある 者のくちびるには 知惠があり， 思慮に 欠けた 者の 背には 杖がある．
- 知惠のある 者は 知識をたくわえ， 愚か 者の 口は 滅びに 近い．
- 富む 者の 財産はその 堅固な 城． 貧民の 滅びは 彼らの 貧困．
