출애굽기

  본서는 하나님의 기적적인 구속의 역사를 통해 선민 이스라엘 백성들의 조상과 맺은 언약을 성취하시는 하나님, 구원의 하나님, 경배의 대상이 되는 야웨 하나님을 나타내고 있으며, 구원받은 자들이 꼭 지켜야 할 삶의 원리를 보여 주고 있다.

  요셉을 모르는 왕의 통치 아래서 노예로 전락한 이스라엘 백성들은 심한 고통을 당하여 하나님께 울부짖는다. 하나님께서는 그들의 소리를 들으시고 모세를 세우셔서 애굽의 압제에서 해방시키신다. 홍해를 건너 시내 산에 도착한 이스라엘 백성들은 하나님께로부터 율법과 성막에 관한 계시를 받고 성막을 완성하여 봉헌한다.

 

 

출애굽기 1:1-2:25

 애굽으로 이주한 야곱의 자손들이 번성하여 강대한 민족이 되었다. 그러자 이에 두려움을 느낀 바로는 그들에게 노역을 시키고 히브리인 남아 살해 명령을 내렸다. 이러한 상황에서 모세는 태어난 지 3개월 만에 하숫가에 버려졌으나 바로의 딸에게 발견되어 바로의 궁에서 살게 되었다. 그러나 어느 날 동족을 학대하는 애굽인을 살해한 모세는 미디안 광야로 도망하여 그 곳에서 40년 간 생활하게 되었다.
  
  이스라엘의 고난(1:1-1:22)    
 
  1. Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob; they came each one with his household:
  2. Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah;
  3. Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin;
  4. Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher.
  5. All the persons who came from the loins of Jacob were seventy in number, but Joseph was already in Egypt.
  1. さて， ヤコブ と 共に， おのおのその 家族を 伴って， エジプト へ 行った イスラエル の 子らの 名は 次のとおりである．
  2. すなわち ルベン ， シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ，
  3. イッサカル ， ゼブルン ， ベニヤミン ，
  4. ダン ， ナフタリ ， ガド ， アセル であった．
  5. ヤコブ の 腰から 出たものは， 合わせて 七十人． ヨセフ はすでに エジプト にいた．
  1. Joseph died, and all his brothers and all that generation.
  2. But the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them.
  3. Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.
  4. He said to his people, "Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are more and mightier than we.
  5. "Come, let us deal wisely with them, or else they will multiply and in the event of war, they will also join themselves to those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land."
  1. そして， ヨセフ は 死に， 兄弟たちも， その 時代の 人¿もみな 死んだ．
  2. けれども イスラエル の 子孫は 多くの 子を 生み， ますますふえ， はなはだ 强くなって， 國に 滿ちるようになった．
  3. ここに， ヨセフ のことを 知らない 新しい 王が， エジプト に 起った．
  4. 彼はその 民に 言った， 「見よ， イスラエル びとなるこの 民は， われわれにとって， あまりにも 多く， また 强すぎる．
  5. さあ， われわれは， 拔かりなく 彼らを 取り 扱おう． 彼らが 多くなり， 戰いの 起るとき， 敵に 味方して， われわれと 戰い， ついにこの 國から 逃げ 去ることのないようにしよう 」．
  1. So they appointed taskmasters over them to afflict them with hard labor And they built for Pharaoh storage cities, Pithom and Raamses.
  2. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread out, so that they were in dread of the sons of Israel.
  3. The Egyptians compelled the sons of Israel to labor rigorously;
  4. and they made their lives bitter with hard labor in mortar and bricks and at all kinds of labor in the field, all their labors which they rigorously imposed on them.
  5. Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other was named Puah;
  1. そこで エジプト びとは 彼らの 上に 監督をおき， 重い 勞役をもって 彼らを 苦しめた． 彼らは パロ のために 倉庫の 町 ピトム と ラメセス を 建てた．
  2. しかし イスラエル の 人¿が 苦しめられるにしたがって， いよいよふえひろがるので， 彼らは イスラエル の 人¿のゆえに 恐れをなした．
  3. エジプト びとは イスラエル の 人¿をきびしく 使い，
  4. つらい 務をもってその 生活を 苦しめた． すなわち， しっくいこね， れんが 作り， および 田畑のあらゆる 務に 當らせたが， そのすべての 勞役はきびしかった．
  5. また エジプト の 王は， ヘブル の 女のために 取上げをする 助産婦でひとりは 名を シフラ といい， 他のひとりは 名を プア という 者にさとして，
  1. and he said, "When you are helping the Hebrew women to give birth and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, then you shall put him to death; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."
  2. But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live.
  3. So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, "Why have you done this thing, and let the boys live?"
  4. The midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife can get to them."
  5. So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty.
  1. 言った， 「ヘブル の 女のために 助産をするとき， 産み 台の 上を 見て， もし 男の 子ならばそれを 殺し， 女の 子ならば 生かしておきなさい 」．
  2. しかし 助産婦たちは 神をおそれ， エジプト の 王が 彼らに 命じたようにはせず， 男の 子を 生かしておいた．
  3. エジプト の 王は 助産婦たちを 召して 言った， 「あなたがたはなぜこのようなことをして， 男の 子を 生かしておいたのか 」．
  4. 助産婦たちは パロ に 言った， 「ヘブル の 女は エジプト の 女とは 違い， 彼女たちは 健やかで 助産婦が 行く 前に 産んでしまいます 」．
  5. それで 神は 助産婦たちに 惠みをほどこされた． そして 民はふえ， 非常に 强くなった．
  1. Because the midwives feared God, He established households for them.
  2. Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, "Every son who is born you are to cast into the Nile, and every daughter you are to keep alive."
  1. 助産婦たちは 神をおそれたので， 神は 彼女たちの 家を 榮えさせられた．
  2. そこで パロ はそのすべての 民に 命じて 言った， 「ヘブル びとに 男の 子が 生れたならば， みな ナイル 川に 投げこめ． しかし 女の 子はみな 生かしておけ 」．
 
  모세의 출생과 망명(2:1-2:25)    
 
  1. Now a man from the house of Levi went and married a daughter of Levi.
  2. The woman conceived and bore a son; and when she saw that he was beautiful, she hid him for three months.
  3. But when she could hide him no longer, she got him a wicker basket and covered it over with tar and pitch Then she put the child into it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile.
  4. His sister stood at a distance to find out what would happen to him.
  5. The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the Nile, with her maidens walking alongside the Nile; and she saw the basket among the reeds and sent her maid, and she brought it to her.
  1. さて， レビ の 家のひとりの 人が 行って レビ の 娘をめとった．
  2. 女はみごもって， 男の 子を 産んだが， その 麗しいのを 見て， 三月のあいだ 隱していた．
  3. しかし， もう 隱しきれなくなったので， パピルス で 編んだかごを 取り， それに アスファルト と 樹脂とを 塗って， 子をその 中に 入れ， これを ナイル 川の 岸の 葦の 中においた．
  4. その 姉は， 彼がどうされるかを 知ろうと， 遠く 離れて 立っていた．
  5. ときに パロ の 娘が 身を 洗おうと， 川に 降りてきた． 侍女たちは 川べを 步いていたが， 彼女は， 葦の 中にかごのあるのを 見て， つかえめをやり， それを 取ってこさせ，
  1. When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the boy was crying. And she had pity on him and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."
  2. Then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women that she may nurse the child for you?"
  3. Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go ahead." So the girl went and called the child's mother.
  4. Then Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this child away and nurse him for me and I will give you your wages." So the woman took the child and nursed him.
  5. The child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. And she named him Moses, and said, "Because I drew him out of the water."
  1. あけて 見ると 子供がいた． 見よ， 幼な 子は 泣いていた． 彼女はかわいそうに 思って 言った， 「これは ヘブル びとの 子供です 」．
  2. そのとき 幼な 子の 姉は パロ の 娘に 言った， 「わたしが 行って ヘブル の 女のうちから， あなたのために， この 子に 乳を 飮ませるうばを 呼んでまいりましょうか 」．
  3. パロ の 娘が「行ってきてください 」と 言うと， 少女は 行ってその 子の 母を 呼んできた．
  4. パロ の 娘は 彼女に 言った， 「この 子を 連れて 行って， わたしに 代り， 乳を 飮ませてください． わたしはその 報酬をさしあげます 」． 女はその 子を 引き 取って， これに 乳を 與えた．
  5. その 子が 成長したので， 彼女はこれを パロ の 娘のところに 連れて 行った． そして 彼はその 子となった． 彼女はその 名を モ ― セ と 名づけて 言った， 「水の 中からわたしが 引き 出したからです 」．
  1. Now it came about in those days, when Moses had grown up, that he went out to his brethren and looked on their hard labors; and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
  2. So he looked this way and that, and when he saw there was no one around, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
  3. He went out the next day, and behold, two Hebrews were fighting with each other; and he said to the offender, "Why are you striking your companion?"
  4. But he said, "Who made you a prince or a judge over us? Are you intending to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and said, "Surely the matter has become known."
  5. When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he tried to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the presence of Pharaoh and settled in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.
  1. モ ― セ が 成長して 後， ある 日のこと， 同胞の 所に 出て 行って， そのはげしい 勞役を 見た． 彼はひとりの エジプト びとが， 同胞のひとりである ヘブル びとを 打つのを 見たので，
  2. 左右を 見まわし， 人のいないのを 見て， その エジプト びとを 打ち 殺し， これを 砂の 中に 隱した．
  3. 次の 日また 出て 行って， ふたりの ヘブル びとが 互に 爭っているのを 見， 惡い 方の 男に 言った， 「あなたはなぜ， あなたの 友を 打つのですか 」．
  4. 彼は 言った， 「だれがあなたを 立てて， われわれのつかさ， また 裁判人としたのですか． エジプト びとを 殺したように， あなたはわたしを 殺そうと 思うのですか 」． モ ― セ は 恐れた． そしてあの 事がきっと 知れたのだと 思った．
  5. パロ はこの 事を 聞いて， モ ― セ を 殺そうとした． しかし モ ― セ は パロ の 前をのがれて， ミデヤン の 地に 行き， 井戶のかたわらに 座していた．
  1. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and they came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
  2. Then the shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and helped them and watered their flock.
  3. When they came to Reuel their father, he said, "Why have you come back so soon today?"
  4. So they said, "An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and what is more, he even drew the water for us and watered the flock."
  5. He said to his daughters, "Where is he then? Why is it that you have left the man behind? Invite him to have something to eat."
  1. さて， ミデヤン の 祭司に 七人の 娘があった． 彼女たちはきて 水をくみ， 水槽にみたして 父の 羊の 群れに 飮ませようとしたが，
  2. 羊飼たちがきて 彼女らを 追い 拂ったので， モ ― セ は 立ち 上がって 彼女たちを 助け， その 羊の 群れに 水を 飮ませた．
  3. 彼女たちが 父 リウエル のところに 歸った 時， 父は 言った， 「きょうは， どうして， こんなに 早く 歸ってきたのか 」．
  4. 彼女たちは 言った， 「ひとりの エジプト びとが， わたしたちを 羊飼たちの 手から 助け 出し， そのうえ， 水をたくさんくんで， 羊の 群れに 飮ませてくれたのです 」．
  5. 彼は 娘たちに 言った， 「そのかたはどこにおられるか． なぜ， そのかたをおいてきたのか． 呼んできて， 食事をさしあげなさい 」．
  1. Moses was willing to dwell with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses.
  2. Then she gave birth to a son, and he named him Gershom, for he said, "I have been a sojourner in a foreign land."
  3. Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage rose up to God.
  4. So God heard their groaning; and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  5. God saw the sons of Israel, and God took notice of them.
  1. モ ― セ がこの 人と 共におることを 好んだので， 彼は 娘の チッポラ を 妻として モ ― セ に 與えた．
  2. 彼女が 男の 子を 産んだので， モ ― セ はその 名を ゲルショム と 名づけた． 「わたしは 外國に 寄留者となっている 」と 言ったからである．
  3. 多くの 日を 經て， エジプト の 王は 死んだ． イスラエル の 人¿は， その 苦役の 務のゆえにうめき， また 叫んだが， その 苦役のゆえの 叫びは 神に 屆いた．
  4. 神は 彼らのうめきを 聞き， 神は アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ との 契約を 覺え，
  5. 神は イスラエル の 人¿を 顧み， 神は 彼らをしろしめされた．
