	여호수아 19:17-21:26 아직 기업을 받지 못한 잇사갈, 아셀, 납달리, 단 지파에게 기업을 분배하고 마지막으로 여호수아가 기업을 분배받음으로 영토 분배를 마쳤다. 여호수아는 하나님께서 지시하신 대로 도피성을 요단 동편에 세 곳, 요단 서편에 세 곳을 선정했다. 그리고 기업을 분배받지 못한 레위 자손들에게는 각 지파의 기업 중에서 48성읍을 주어 그 곳에서 살게 하였다.

	나머지 지파의 땅(19:17-19:51)

The fourth lot fell to Issachar, to the sons of Issachar according to their families.

Their territory was to Jezreel and included Chesulloth and Shunem,

and Hapharaim and Shion and Anaharath,

and Rabbith and Kishion and Ebez,

and Remeth and En-gannim and En-haddah and Beth-pazzez.

第四にイッサカル，すなわちイッサカルの子孫のために，その家族にしたがって，くじを引いた．

その領域には，エズレル，ケスロテ，シュネム，

ハパライム，シオン，アナハラテ，

ラビテ，キション，エベツ，

レメテ，エンガンニム，エンハダ，ベテパッゼズがあり，

The border reached to Tabor and Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh, and their border ended at the Jordan; sixteen cities with their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Now the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families.

Their territory was Helkath and Hali and Beten and Achshaph,

and Allammelech and Amad and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel on the west and to Shihor-libnath.

その境はタボル，シャハヂマ，ベテシメシに達し，その境はヨルダンに至って盡きる．十六の町¿と，それに屬する村¿があった．

これがイッサカルの子孫の部族の，その家族にしたがって獲た嗣業であって，その町¿と，それに屬する村¿とである．

It turned toward the east to Beth-dagon and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtahel northward to Beth-emek and Neiel; then it proceeded on north to Cabul,

and Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, as far as Great Sidon.

The border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and it ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.

Included also were Ummah, and Aphek and Rehob; twenty-two cities with their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

それから東に折れて，ベテダゴンに至り，北の方ゼブルンと，イプタエルの谷に達し，ベテエメクおよびネイエルに至り，北はカブルにいで，

更にエブロン，レホブ，ハンモン，カナを經て，大シドンに及び，

それから，その境はラマに曲り，堅固な町ツロに至る．またその境はホサに曲り，海に至って盡きる．そして，マハラブ，アクジブ，

ウンマ，アペク，レホブなど，二十二の町¿と，それに屬する村¿があった．

The sixth lot fell to the sons of Naphtali; to the sons of Naphtali according to their families.

Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and it ended at the Jordan.

Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and proceeded from there to Hukkok; and it reached to Zebulun on the south and touched Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the east.

The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,

and Adamah and Ramah and Hazor,

第六に，ナフタリの子孫のために，その家族にしたがって，くじを引いた．

その境はヘレフから，すなわちザアナニイムのかしの木から起り，アダミ · ネケブおよび，ヤブネルを經て，ラクムに至り，ヨルダンに至って盡きる．

そしてその境は西に向かって，アズノテ · タボルに至り，そこからホッコクに出る．南はゼブルンに接し，西はアセルに接し，東はヨルダンのユダに達する．

その堅固な町¿は，ヂデム，ゼル，ハンマテ，ラッカテ，キンネレテ，　　　　

アダマ，ラマ，ハゾル，

and Kedesh and Edrei and En-hazor,

and Yiron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.

The seventh lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Dan according to their families.

The territory of their inheritance was Zorah and Eshtaol and Ir-shemesh,

ケデシ，エデレイ，エンハゾル，

イロン，ミグダルエル，ホレム，ベテアナテ，ベテシメシなどで，十九の町¿と，それに屬する村¿があった．

これがナフタリの子孫の部族が，その家族にしたがって獲た嗣業であって，その町¿と，それに屬する村¿とである．

第七に，ダンの子孫の部族のために，その家族にしたがって，くじを引いた．

その嗣業の領域には，ゾラ，エシタオル，イルシメシ，

and Shaalabbin and Aijalon and Ithlah,

and Elon and Timnah and Ekron,

and Eltekeh and Gibbethon and Baalath,

and Jehud and Bene-berak and Gath-rimmon,

and Me-jarkon and Rakkon, with the territory over against Joppa.

シャラビム，アヤロン，イテラ，

エロン，テムナ，エクロン，

エルテケ，ギベトン，バアラテ，

エホデ，ベネベラク，ガテリンモン，

メヤルコン，ラッコン，およびヨッパと相對する地域があった．

The territory of the sons of Dan proceeded beyond them; for the sons of Dan went up and fought with Leshem and captured it Then they struck it with the edge of the sword and possessed it and settled in it; and they called Leshem Dan after the name of Dan their father.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

When they finished apportioning the land for inheritance by its borders, the sons of Israel gave an inheritance in their midst to Joshua the son of Nun.

In accordance with the command of the LORD they gave him the city for which he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. So he built the city and settled in it.

These are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the households of the tribes of the sons of Israel distributed by lot in Shiloh before the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting. So they finished dividing the land.

ただし，ダンの子孫の領域は，彼らのために小さかったので，ダンの子孫は，上って行き，レセムを攻めてそれを取り，つるぎにかけて擊ち滅ぼし，それを獲てそこに住み，先祖ダンの名にしたがって，レセムをダンと名づけた．

これがダンの子孫の部族の，その家族にしたがって獲た嗣業であって，その町¿と，それに屬する村¿とである．

こうして國の各地域を嗣業として分け與えることを終ったとき，イスラエルの人¿は，自分たちのうちに，一つの嗣業を，ヌンの子ヨシュアに與えた．

すなわち，主の命に從って，彼が求めた町を與えたが，それはエフライムの山地にあるテムナテ · セラであって，彼はその町を建てなおして，そこに住んだ．

	도피성(20:1-20:9)

Then the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,

"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'Designate the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you through Moses,

that the manslayer who kills any person unintentionally, without premeditation, may flee there, and they shall become your refuge from the avenger of blood.

'He shall flee to one of these cities, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city and state his case in the hearing of the elders of that city; and they shall take him into the city to them and give him a place, so that he may dwell among them.

'Now if the avenger of blood pursues him, then they shall not deliver the manslayer into his hand, because he struck his neighbor without premeditation and did not hate him beforehand.

そこで主はヨシュアに言われた，

「イスラエルの人¿に言いなさい，『先にわたしがモ ― セによって言っておいた，のがれの町を選び定め，

あやまって，知らずに人を殺した者を，そこへのがれさせなさい．これはあなたがたが，あだを討つ者をさけて，のがれる場所となるでしょう．

その人は，これらの町の一つにのがれて行って，町の門の入口に立ち，その町の長老たちに，そのわけを述べなければならない．そうすれば，彼らはその人を町に受け入れて，場所を與え，共に住ませるであろう．

たとい，あだを討つ者が追ってきても，人を殺したその者を，その手に渡してはならない．彼はあやまって隣人を殺したのであって，もとからそれを憎んでいたのではないからである．

'He shall dwell in that city until he stands before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the one who is high priest in those days. Then the manslayer shall return to his own city and to his own house, to the city from which he fled.'"

So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali and Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.

Beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, they designated Bezer in the wilderness on the plain from the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead from the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan from the tribe of Manasseh.

These were the appointed cities for all the sons of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them, that whoever kills any person unintentionally may flee there, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood until he stands before the congregation.

その人は，會衆の前に立って，さばきを受けるまで，あるいはその時の大祭司が死ぬまで，その町に住まなければならない．そして後，彼は自分の町，自分の家に歸って行って，逃げ出してきたその町に住むことができる』」．

そこで，ナフタリの山地にあるガリラヤのケデシ，エフライムの山地にあるシケム，およびユダの山地にあるキリアテ · アルバすなわちヘブロンを，これがために選び分かち，

	레위 지파의 성읍(21:1-21:26)

Then the heads of households of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of households of the tribes of the sons of Israel.

They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to live in, with their pasture lands for our cattle."

So the sons of Israel gave the Levites from their inheritance these cities with their pasture lands, according to the command of the LORD.

Then the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And the sons of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, received thirteen cities by lot from the tribe of Judah and from the tribe of the Simeonites and from the tribe of Benjamin.

The rest of the sons of Kohath received ten cities by lot from the families of the tribe of Ephraim and from the tribe of Dan and from the half-tribe of Manasseh.

時にレビの族長たちは，祭司エレアザル，ヌンの子ヨシュアおよびイスラエルの部族の族長たちのもとにきて，

カナンの地のシロで彼らに言った，「主はかつて，われわれに住むべき町¿を與えることと，それに屬する放牧地を，家畜のために與えることを，モ ― セによって命じられました」．

それでイスラエルの人¿は，主の命にしたがって，自分たちの嗣業のうちから，次の町¿と，その放牧地とを，レビびとに與えた．

まずコハテびとの氏族のために，くじを引いた．祭司アロンの子孫であるこれらのレビびとは，くじによって，ユダの部族，シメオンの部族，およびベニヤミンの部族のうちから，十三の町を獲た．

The sons of Gershon received thirteen cities by lot from the families of the tribe of Issachar and from the tribe of Asher and from the tribe of Naphtali and from the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.

The sons of Merari according to their families received twelve cities from the tribe of Reuben and from the tribe of Gad and from the tribe of Zebulun.

Now the sons of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their pasture lands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.

They gave these cities which are here mentioned by name from the tribe of the sons of Judah and from the tribe of the sons of Simeon;

and they were for the sons of Aaron, one of the families of the Kohathites, of the sons of Levi, for the lot was theirs first.

またゲルションびとは，くじによって，イッサカルの部族の氏族，アセルの部族，ナフタリの部族，およびバシャンにあるマナセの半部族のうちから，十三の町を獲た．

またメラリびとは，その氏族にしたがって，ルベンの部族，ガドの部族，およびゼブルンの部族のうちから，十二の町を獲た．

イスラエルの人¿は，主がモ ― セによって命じられたとおりに，これらの町と，その放牧地とを，くじによって，レビびとに與えた．

まずユダの部族と，シメオンの部族のうちから，次に名をあげる町¿を與えた．

Thus they gave them Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.

But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.

So to the sons of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron, the city of refuge for the manslayer, with its pasture lands, and Libnah with its pasture lands,

and Jattir with its pasture lands and Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,

and Holon with its pasture lands and Debir with its pasture lands,

すなわちユダの山地にあるキリアテ · アルバすなわちヘブロンおよびその周圍の放牧地を彼らに與えた．このアルバはアナクの父であった．

ただし，この町の畑と，それに屬する村¿とは，すでにエフンネの子カレブが，それを受けて所有していた．

祭司アロンの子孫に與えたのは，人を殺した者の，のがれる町であるヘブロンとその放牧地，リブナとその放牧地，

Anathoth with its pasture lands and Almon with its pasture lands; four cities.

All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.

Then the cities from the tribe of Ephraim were allotted to the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, even to the rest of the sons of Kohath.

アインとその放牧地，ユッタとその放牧地，ベテシメシとその放牧地など，九つの町であって，この二つの部族のうちから分け與えたものである．

またベニヤミンの部族のうちから，ギベオンとその放牧地，ゲバとその放牧地，

アナトテとその放牧地，アルモンとその放牧地など，四つの町を與えた．

アロンの子孫である祭司たちの町は，合わせて十三であって，それに屬する放牧地があった．

その他のコハテびとであるレビびとの氏族は，くじによって，エフライムの部族のうちから町を獲た．

They gave them Shechem, the city of refuge for the manslayer, with its pasture lands, in the hill country of Ephraim, and Gezer with its pasture lands,

and Kibzaim with its pasture lands and Beth-horon with its pasture lands; four cities.

From the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,

Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands; four cities.

From the half-tribe of Manasseh, they allotted Taanach with its pasture lands and Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands; two cities.

すなわち，その町は，人を殺したものの，のがれる町であるエフライムの山地のシケムとその放牧地，ゲゼルとその放牧地，

キブザイムとその放牧地，ベテホロンとその放牧地など，四つの町である．

またダンの部族のうちから分け與えた町は，エルテケとその放牧地，ギベトンとその放牧地，

アヤロンとその放牧地，ガテリンモンとその放牧地など，四つの町である．

またマナセの半部族のうちから分け與えた町は，タアナクとその放牧地，およびガテリンモンとその放牧地など，二つの町である．

All the cities with their pasture lands for the families of the rest of the sons of Kohath were ten.

その他のコハテびとの氏族の町は，合わせて十であって，それに屬する放牧地があった．
