	요한복음 11:45-12:19 나사로의 부활 소식을 들은 유대 지도자들은 긴급 소집된 산헤드린 공회에서 예수님을 죽이려는 음모를 본격적으로 논의했다. 마리아가 나드 향유를 예수님의 발에 붓고 자기 머리털로 씻기자 예수님께서는 이는 자신의 장사를 위한 것이라며 그녀를 칭찬하셨다. 예수님은 나귀를 타고 예루살렘에 입성하여 무리들로부터 찬양을 받으셨다.

	예수를 죽이려는 음모(11:45-11:57)

Therefore many of the Jews who came to Mary, and saw what He had done, believed in Him.

But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them the things which Jesus had done.

Therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees convened a council, and were saying, "What are we doing? For this man is performing many signs.

"If we let Him go on like this, all men will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation."

But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all,

マリヤのところにきて，イエスのなさったことを見た多くのユダヤ人たちは，イエスを信じた．

しかし，そのうちの數人がパリサイ人たちのところに行って，イエスのされたことを告げた．

そこで，祭司長たちとパリサイ人たちとは，議會を召集して言った，「この人が多くのしるしを行っているのに，お互は何をしているのだ．

もしこのままにしておけば，みんなが彼を信じるようになるだろう．そのうえ，ロ ― マ人がやってきて，わたしたちの土地も人民も奪ってしまうであろう」．

彼らのうちのひとりで，その年の大祭司であったカヤパが，彼らに言った，「あなたがたは，何もわかっていないし，

nor do you take into account that it is expedient for you that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish."

Now he did not say this on his own initiative, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation,

and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

So from that day on they planned together to kill Him.

Therefore Jesus no longer continued to walk publicly among the Jews, but went away from there to the country near the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim; and there He stayed with the disciples.

ひとりの人が人民に代って死んで，全國民が滅びないようになるのがわたしたちにとって得だということを，考えてもいない」．

このことは彼が自分から言ったのではない．彼はこの年の大祭司であったので，預言をして，イエスが國民のために，

ただ國民のためだけではなく，また散在している神の子らを一つに集めるために，死ぬことになっていると，言ったのである．

彼らはこの日からイエスを殺そうと相談した．

そのためイエスは，もはや公然とユダヤ人の間を步かないで，そこを出て，荒野に近い地方のエフライムという町に行かれ，そこに弟子たちと一緖に滯在しておられた．

Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the Passover to purify themselves.

So they were seeking for Jesus, and were saying to one another as they stood in the temple, "What do you think; that He will not come to the feast at all?"

Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he was to report it, so that they might seize Him.

さて，ユダヤ人の過越の祭が近づいたので，多くの人¿は身をきよめるために，祭の前に，地方からエルサレムへ上った．

人¿はイエスを搜し求め，宮の庭に立って互に言った，「あなたがたはどう思うか．イエスはこの祭にこないのだろうか」．

祭司長たちとパリサイ人たちとは，イエスを捕えようとして，そのいどころを知っている者があれば申し出よ，という指令を出していた．

	향유를 부은 마리아(12:1-12:19)

Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

So they made Him a supper there, and Martha was serving; but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him.

Mary then took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to betray Him, said,

"Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor people?"

過越の祭の六日まえに，イエスはベタニヤに行かれた．そこは，イエスが死人の中からよみがえらせたラザロのいた所である．

イエスのためにそこで夕食の用意がされ，マルタは給仕をしていた．イエスと一緖に食卓についていた者のうちに，ラザロも加わっていた．

その時，マリヤは高價で純粹なナルドの香油一斤を持ってきて，イエスの足にぬり，自分の髮の毛でそれをふいた．すると，香油のかおりが家にいっぱいになった．

弟子のひとりで，イエスを裏切ろうとしていたイスカリオテのユダが言った，

「なぜこの香油を三百デナリに賣って，貧しい人たちに，施さなかったのか」．

Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it.

Therefore Jesus said, "Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial.

"For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me."

The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.

But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also;

彼がこう言ったのは，貧しい人たちに對する思いやりがあったからではなく，自分が盜人であり，財布を預かっていて，その中身をごまかしていたからであった．

イエスは言われた，「この女のするままにさせておきなさい．わたしの葬りの日のために，それをとっておいたのだから．

貧しい人たちはいつもあなたがたと共にいるが，わたしはいつも共にいるわけではない」．

大ぜいのユダヤ人たちが，そこにイエスのおられるのを知って，押しよせてきた．それはイエスに會うためだけではなく，イエスが死人のなかから，よみがえらせたラザロを見るためでもあった．

そこで祭司長たちは，ラザロも殺そうと相談した．

because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.

On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, "Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel."

Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written,

"FEAR NOT, DAUGHTER OF ZION; BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING, SEATED ON A DONKEY'S COLT."

それは，ラザロのことで，多くのユダヤ人が彼らを離れ去って，イエスを信じるに至ったからである．

その翌日，祭にきていた大ぜいの群衆は，イエスが ⅵⅱ � ⑴ 宿度瑞 ��밑竿孱㎦ ㅤ孵

しゅろの枝を手にとり，迎えに出て行った．そして叫んだ，／「ホサナ，／主の御名によってきたる者に祝福あれ，／イスラエルの王に」．

イエスは，ろばの子を見つけて，その上に乘られた．それは

「シオンの娘よ，恐れるな．見よ，あなたの王が／ろばの子に乘っておいでになる」／と書いてあるとおりであった．

These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him.

So the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify about Him.

For this reason also the people went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.

So the Pharisees said to one another, "You see that you are not doing any good; look, the world has gone after Him."

弟子たちは初めにはこのことを悟らなかったが，イエスが榮光を受けられた時に，このことがイエスについて書かれてあり，またそのとおりに，人¿がイエスに對してしたのだということを，思い起した．

また，イエスがラザロを墓から呼び出して，死人の中からよみがえらせたとき，イエスと一緖にいた群衆が，そのあかしをした．

群衆がイエスを迎えに出たのは，イエスがこのようなしるしを行われたことを，聞いていたからである．

そこで，パリサイ人たちは互に言った，「何をしてもむだだった．世をあげて彼のあとを追って行ったではないか」．

	나드( 12:3) 나드에서 추출한 값비싼 향유

	호산나( 12:13) ‘우리를 구원하소서’라는 의미로, 메시아를 대망하는 표현
