사도행전 13:44-14:7

 복음을 영접하는 사람들이 늘어가자, 유대인들은 자신들의 권위와 지지 기반이 약화될 것을 우려해 바울과 바나바를 핍박하고 비시디아 안디옥에서 쫓아냈다. 이고니온으로 온 바울과 바나바는 그 곳에서도 복음을 전했으나, 역시 유대인들의 극심한 박해로 루스드라로 가게 되었다.
  
  유대인들의 박해(13:44-13:52)    
 
  1. The next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the Lord.
  2. But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming.
  3. Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
  4. "For so the Lord has commanded us, 'I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.'"
  5. When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
  1. 次の 安息日には， ほとんど 全市をあげて， 神の 言を 聞きに 集まってきた．
  2. すると ユダヤ 人たちは， その 群衆を 見てねたましく 思い， パウロ の 語ることに 口ぎたなく 反對した．
  3. パウロ と バルナバ とは 大膽に 語った， 「神の 言は， まず， あなたがたに 語り 傳えられなければならなかった． しかし， あなたがたはそれを 退け， 自分自身を 永遠の 命にふさわしからぬ 者にしてしまったから， さあ， わたしたちはこれから 方向をかえて， 異邦人たちの 方に 行くのだ．
  4. 主はわたしたちに， こう 命じておられる， ／『わたしは， あなたを 立てて 異邦人の 光とした． あなたが 地の 果までも 救をもたらすためである 』」．
  5. 異邦人たちはこれを 聞いてよろこび， 主の 御言をほめたたえてやまなかった． そして， 永遠の 命にあずかるように 定められていた 者は， みな 信じた．
  1. And the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region.
  2. But the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.
  3. But they shook off the dust of their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
  4. And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
  1. こうして， 主の 御言はこの 地方全體にひろまって 行った．
  2. ところが， ユダヤ 人たちは， 信心深い 貴婦人たちや 町の 有力者たちを �촬沂랴튁� パウロ と バルナバ を 迫害させ， ふたりをその 地方から 追い 出させた．
  3. ふたりは， 彼らに 向けて 足のちりを 拂い 落して， イコニオム へ 行った．
  4. 弟子たちは， ますます 喜びと 聖靈とに 滿たされていた．
 
  이고니온에서 루스드라까지(14:1-14:7)    
 
  1. In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.
  2. But the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles and embittered them against the brethren.
  3. Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.
  4. But the people of the city were divided; and some sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.
  5. And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,
  1. ふたりは， イコニオム でも 同じように ユダヤ 人の 會堂にはいって 語った 結果， ユダヤ 人や ギリシヤ 人が 大ぜい 信じた．
  2. ところが， 信じなかった ユダヤ 人たちは 異邦人たちをそそのかして， 兄弟たちに 對して 惡意をいだかせた．
  3. それにもかかわらず， ふたりは 長い 期間をそこで 過ごして， 大膽に 主のことを 語った． 主は， 彼らの 手によってしるしと 奇跡とを 行わせ， そのめぐみの 言葉をあかしされた．
  4. そこで 町の 人¿が 二派に 分れ， ある 人たちは ユダヤ 人の 側につき， ある 人たちは 使徒の 側についた．
  5. その 時， 異邦人や ユダヤ 人が 役人たちと 一緖になって 反對運動を 起し， 使徒たちをはずかしめ， 石で 打とうとしたので，
  1. they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region;
  2. and there they continued to preach the gospel.
  1. ふたりはそれと 氣づいて， ルカオニヤ の 町¿， ルステラ ， デルベ およびその 附近の 地へのがれ，
  2. そこで 引きつづき 福音を 傳えた．
