에스겔 33:1-34:16

 하나님께로부터 파수꾼의 사명을 확인받은 에스겔은 포로로 잡혀 와 있는 자들에게 회개를 촉구하며 그들이 회개하면 회복될 것이라고 전했다. 그리고 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들에게는 그들이 죄악을 깨닫지 못하여 황폐해질 것을 예고했다. 하나님께서는 자신의 욕심만 채우고 양떼를 돌보지 않는 거짓 목자들에 대해 심판을 선언하셨고, 자신이 참목자가 되셔서 양떼를 돌보시겠다고 약속하셨다.
  
  파수꾼 에스겔의 사명(33:1-33:33)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
  2. "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,
  3. and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people,
  4. then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.
  5. 'He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ，
  2. 「人の 子よ， あなたの 民の 人¿に 語って 言え， わたしがつるぎを 一つの 國に 臨ませる 時， その 國の 民が 彼らのうちからひとりを 選んで， これを 自分たちの 見守る 者とする．
  3. 彼は 國につるぎが 臨むのを 見て， ラッパ を 吹き， 民を 戒める．
  4. しかし 人が ラッパ の 音を 聞いても， みずから 警戒せず， ついにつるぎが 來て， その 人を 殺したなら， その 血は 彼のこうべに 歸する．
  5. 彼は ラッパ の 音を 聞いて， みずから 警戒しなかったのであるから， その 血は 彼自身に 歸する． しかしその 人が， みずから 警戒したなら， その 命は 救われる．
  1. 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'
  2. "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.
  3. "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.
  4. "But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life.
  5. "Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have spoken, saying, "Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?"'
  1. しかし 見守る 者が， つるぎの 臨むのを 見ても， ラッパ を 吹かず， そのため 民が， みずから 警戒しないでいるうちに， つるぎが 臨み， 彼らの 中のひとりを 失うならば， その 人は， 自分の 罪のために 殺されるが， わたしはその 血の 責任を， 見守る 者の 手に 求める．
  2. それゆえ， 人の 子よ， わたしはあなたを 立てて， イスラエル の 家を 見守る 者とする． あなたはわたしの 口から 言葉を 聞き， わたしに 代って 彼らを 戒めよ．

  3. "When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die.
  4. "But when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,
  5. if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
  1. あなたは 彼らに 言え， 主なる 神は 言われる， わたしは 生きている． わたしは 惡人の 死を 喜ばない． むしろ 惡人が， その 道を 離れて 生きるのを 喜ぶ． あなたがたは 心を 飜せ， 心を 飜してその 惡しき 道を 離れよ． イスラエル の 家よ， あなたはどうして 死んでよかろうか．

  2. "Yet your fellow citizens say, 'The way of the Lord is not right,' when it is their own way that is not right.
  3. "When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, then he shall die in it.
  4. "But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness, he will live by them.
  5. "Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not right.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."
  1. 彼の 犯したすべての 罪は 彼に 對して 覺えられない． 彼は 公道と 正義とを 行ったのであるから， 必ず 生きる．

  3. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  4. "Son of man, they who live in these waste places in the land of Israel are saying, 'Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to us who are many the land has been given as a possession.'
  5. "Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "You eat meat with the blood in it, lift up your eyes to your idols as you shed blood Should you then possess the land?
  1. わたしたちが 捕え 移された 後， すなわち 第十二年の 十月五日に， エルサレム からのがれて 來た 者が， わたしのもとに 來て 言った， 「町は 打ち 破られた 」と．
  2. その 者が 來た 前の 夜， 主の 手がわたしに 臨んだ． 次の 朝， その 人がわたしのもとに 來たころ， 主はわたしの 口を 開かれた． わたしの 口が 開けたので， もはやわたしは 沈默しなかった．

  2. "Thus you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "As I live, surely those who are in the waste places will fall by the sword, and whoever is in the open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and in the caves will die of pestilence.
  3. "I will make the land a desolation and a waste, and the pride of her power will cease; and the mountains of Israel will be desolate so that no one will pass through.
  4. "Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I make the land a desolation and a waste because of all their abominations which they have committed."'
  5. "But as for you, son of man, your fellow citizens who talk about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses, speak to one another, each to his brother, saying, 'Come now and hear what the message is which comes forth from the LORD.'
  1. あなたがたはつるぎをたのみ， 憎むべき 事をおこない， おのおの 隣り 人の 妻を 汚して， なおこの 地を 所有することができるか．
  2. あなたは 彼らに 言いなさい． 主なる 神はこう 言われる， わたしは 生きている． かの 荒れ 跡にいる 者は 必ずつるぎに 倒れる． わたしは 野の 面にいる 者を， ¿に 與えて 食わせ， 要害とほら 穴とにいる 者は 疫病で 死ぬ．

  1. "They come to you as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not do them, for they do the lustful desires expressed by their mouth, and their heart goes after their gain.
  2. "Behold, you are to them like a sensual song by one who has a beautiful voice and plays well on an instrument; for they hear your words but they do not practice them.
  3. "So when it comes to pass--as surely it will--then they will know that a prophet has been in their midst."
  1. 彼らは 民が 來るようにあなたの 所に 來， わたしの 民のようにあなたの 前に 座して， あなたの 言葉を 聞く． しかし 彼らはそれを 行わない． 彼等は 口先では 多くの 愛を 現すが， その 心は 利におもむいている．

  거짓 목자들과 참 목자(34:1-34:16)    
 
  1. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel Prophesy and say to those shepherds, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock?
  3. "You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.
  4. "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them.
  5. "They were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every beast of the field and were scattered.
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ，
  2. 「人の 子よ， イスラエル の 牧者たちに 向かって 預言せよ． 預言して 彼ら 牧者に 言え， 主なる 神はこう 言われる， わざわいなるかな， 自分自身を 養う イスラエル の 牧者． 牧者は 群れを 養うべき 者ではないか．
  3. ところが， あなたがたは 脂肪を 食べ， 毛織物をまとい， 肥えたものをほふるが， 群れを 養わない．

  1. "My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them."'"
  2. Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
  3. "As I live," declares the Lord GOD, "surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock;
  4. therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
  5. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them."'"
  1. わが 羊は 散らされている． 彼らはもろもろの 山と， もろもろの 高き 丘にさまよい， わが 羊は 地の 全面に 散らされているが， これを 搜す 者もなく， 尋ねる 者もない．
  2. それゆえ， 牧者よ， 主の 言葉を 聞け．
  3. 主なる 神は 言われる， わたしは 生きている． わが 羊はかすめられ， わが 羊は 野のもろもろの ¿のえじきとなっているが， その 牧者はいない． わが 牧者はわが 羊を 尋ねない． 牧者は 自身を 養うが， わが 羊を 養わない．
  4. それゆえ 牧者らよ， 主の 言葉を 聞け．
  5. 主なる 神はこう 言われる， 見よ， わたしは 牧者らの 敵となり， わたしの 羊を 彼らの 手に 求め， 彼らにわたしの 群れを 養うことをやめさせ， 再び 牧者自身を 養わせない． またわが 羊を 彼らの 口から 救って， 彼らの 食物にさせない．
  1. For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
  2. "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.
  3. "I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
  4. "I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
  5. "I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest," declares the Lord GOD.
  1. 主なる 神はこう 言われる， 見よ， わたしは， わたしみずからわが 羊を 尋ねて， これを 搜し 出す．
  2. 牧者がその 羊の 散り 去った 時， その 羊の 群れを 搜し 出すように， わたしはわが 羊を 搜し 出し， 雲と 暗やみの 日に 散った， すべての 所からこれを 救う．
  3. わたしは 彼らをもろもろの 民の 中から 導き 出し， もろもろの 國から 集めて， 彼らの 國に 携え 入れ， イスラエル の 山の 上， 泉のほとり， また 國のうちの 人の 住むすべての 所でこれを 養う．
  4. わたしは 良き 牧場で 彼らを 養う． その 牧場は イスラエル の 高い 山にあり， その 所で 彼らは 良い 羊のおりに 伏し， イスラエル の 山¿の 上で 肥えた 牧場で 草を 食う．

  1. "I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy I will feed them with judgment.
  1. わたしは， うせたものを 尋ね， 迷い 出たものを 引き 返し， 傷ついたものを 包み， 弱ったものを 强くし， 肥えたものと 强いものとは， これを 監督する． わたしは 公平をもって 彼らを 養う．
