창세기 3:1-4:26

 여자가 뱀의 유혹을 받아 하나님께서 금하신 선악을 알게 하는 나무의 실과를 먹고 아담에게도 먹게 하였다. 이를 아신 하나님께서는 뱀과 여자와 아담에게 저주와 고통과 죽음을 선언하셨다. 에덴 동산에서 쫓겨난 아담과 하와는 가인과 아벨을 낳았다. 이들이 장성하여 하나님께 제물을 드렸는데, 하나님께서 아벨의 제물만 열납하시자 이를 본 가인은 아벨을 죽이고 놋 땅에 거했다.
  
  인간의 타락(3:1-3:24)    
 
  1. Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?"
  2. The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;
  3. but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.'"
  4. The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die!
  5. "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
  1. 主なる 神が 造られた 野の 生き 物のうちで， 最も 賢いのは 蛇であった． 蛇は 女に 言った． 「園のどの 木からも 食べてはいけない， などと 神は 言われたのか． 」
  2. 女は 蛇に 答えた． 「わたしたちは 園の 木の 果實を 食べてもよいのです．
  3. でも， 園の 中央に 生えている 木の 果實だけは， 食べてはいけない， 觸れてもいけない， 死んではいけないから， と 神樣はおっしゃいました． 」
  4. 蛇は 女に 言った． 「決して 死ぬことはない．
  5. それを 食べると， 目が 開け， 神のように 善惡を 知るものとなることを 神はご 存じなのだ． 」
  1. When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.
  2. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings.
  3. They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
  4. Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"
  5. He said, "I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself."
  1. 女が 見ると， その 木はいかにもおいしそうで， 目を 引き 付け， 賢くなるように 唆していた． 女は 實を 取って 食べ， 一緖にいた 男にも 渡したので， 彼も 食べた．
  2. 二人の 目は 開け， 自分たちが 裸であることを 知り， 二人はいちじくの 葉をつづり 合わせ， 腰を 覆うものとした．
  3. その 日， 風の 吹くころ， 主なる 神が 園の 中を 步く 音が 聞こえてきた． アダム と 女が， 主なる 神の 顔を 避けて， 園の 木の 間に 隱れると，
  4. 主なる 神は アダム を 呼ばれた． 「どこにいるのか． 」
  5. 彼は 答えた． 「あなたの 足音が 園の 中に 聞こえたので， 恐ろしくなり， 隱れております． わたしは 裸ですから． 」
  1. And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?"
  2. The man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate."
  3. Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
  4. The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life;
  5. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel."
  1. 神は 言われた． 「お 前が 裸であることを 誰が 告げたのか． 取って 食べるなと 命じた 木から 食べたのか． 」
  2. アダム は 答えた． 「あなたがわたしと 共にいるようにしてくださった 女が， 木から 取って 與えたので， 食べました． 」
  3. 主なる 神は 女に 向かって 言われた． 「何ということをしたのか． 」女は 答えた． 「蛇がだましたので， 食べてしまいました． 」
  4. 主なる 神は， 蛇に 向かって 言われた． 「このようなことをしたお 前は ／あらゆる 家畜， あらゆる 野の ¿の 中で ／呪われるものとなった． お 前は， 生涯這いまわり， 塵を 食らう．
  5. お 前と 女， お 前の 子孫と 女の 子孫の 間に ／わたしは 敵意を 置く． 彼はお 前の 頭を ¿き ／お 前は 彼のかかとを ¿く． 」
  1. To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you."
  2. Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life.
  3. "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; And you will eat the plants of the field;
  4. By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return."
  5. Now the man called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living.
  1. 神は 女に 向かって 言われた． 「お 前のはらみの 苦しみを 大きなものにする． お 前は， 苦しんで 子を 産む． お 前は 男を 求め ／彼はお 前を 支配する． 」
  2. 神は アダム に 向かって 言われた． 「お 前は 女の 聲に 從い ／取って 食べるなと 命じた 木から 食べた． お 前のゆえに， 土は 呪われるものとなった． お 前は， 生涯食べ 物を 得ようと 苦しむ．
  3. お 前に 對して ／土は 茨とあざみを 生えいでさせる ／野の 草を 食べようとするお 前に．
  4. お 前は 顔に 汗を 流して パン を 得る ／土に 返るときまで． お 前がそこから 取られた 土に． 塵にすぎないお 前は 塵に 返る． 」
  5. アダム は 女を エバ （命 ）と 名付けた． 彼女がすべて 命あるものの 母となったからである．
  1. The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
  2. Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"--
  3. therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
  4. So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.
  1. 主なる 神は， アダム と 女に 皮の 衣を 作って 着せられた．
  2. 主なる 神は 言われた． 「人は 我¿の 一人のように， 善惡を 知る 者となった． 今は， 手を 伸ばして 命の 木からも 取って 食べ， 永遠に 生きる 者となるおそれがある． 」
  3. 主なる 神は， 彼を エデン の 園から 追い 出し， 彼に， 自分がそこから 取られた 土を 耕させることにされた．
  4. こうして アダム を 追放し， 命の 木に 至る 道を 守るために， エデン の 園の 東に ケルビム と， きらめく 劍の 炎を 置かれた．
 
  가인과 아벨(4:1-4:26)    
 
  1. Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the LORD."
  2. Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
  3. So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the LORD of the fruit of the ground.
  4. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions And the LORD had regard for Abel and for his offering;
  5. but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell.
  1. さて， アダム は 妻 エバ を 知った． 彼女は 身ごもって カイン を 産み， 「わたしは 主によって 男子を 得た 」と 言った．
  2. 彼女はまたその 弟 アベル を 産んだ． アベル は 羊を 飼う 者となり， カイン は 土を 耕す 者となった．
  3. 時を 經て， カイン は 土の 實りを 主のもとに 獻げ 物として 持って 來た．
  4. アベル は 羊の 群れの 中から 肥えた 初子を 持って 來た． 主は アベル とその 獻げ 物に 目を 留められたが，
  5. カイン とその 獻げ 物には 目を 留められなかった． カイン は 激しく 怒って 顔を 伏せた．
  1. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
  2. "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it."
  3. Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
  4. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"
  5. He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground.
  1. 主は カイン に 言われた． 「どうして 怒るのか． どうして 顔を 伏せるのか．
  2. もしお 前が 正しいのなら， 顔を 上げられるはずではないか． 正しくないなら， 罪は 戶口で 待ち 伏せており， お 前を 求める． お 前はそれを 支配せねばならない． 」
  3. カイン が 弟 アベル に 言葉をかけ， 二人が 野原に 着いたとき， カイン は 弟 アベル を 襲って 殺した．
  4. 主は カイン に 言われた． 「お 前の 弟 アベル は， どこにいるのか． 」 カイン は 答えた． 「知りません． わたしは 弟の 番人でしょうか． 」
  5. 主は 言われた． 「何ということをしたのか． お 前の 弟の 血が 土の 中からわたしに 向かって 叫んでいる．
  1. "Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
  2. "When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth."
  3. Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is too great to bear!
  4. "Behold, You have driven me this day from the face of the ground; and from Your face I will be hidden, and I will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me."
  5. So the LORD said to him, "Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold " And the LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one finding him would slay him.
  1. 今， お 前は 呪われる 者となった． お 前が 流した 弟の 血を， 口を 開けて 飮み ¿んだ 土よりもなお， 呪われる．
  2. 土を 耕しても， 土はもはやお 前のために 作物を 産み 出すことはない． お 前は 地上をさまよい， さすらう 者となる． 」
  3. カイン は 主に 言った． 「わたしの 罪は 重すぎて 負いきれません．
  4. 今日， あなたがわたしをこの 土地から 追放なさり， わたしが 御顔から 隱されて， 地上をさまよい， さすらう 者となってしまえば， わたしに 出會う 者はだれであれ， わたしを 殺すでしょう． 」
  5. 主は カイン に 言われた． 「いや， それゆえ カイン を 殺す 者は， だれであれ 七倍の 復讐を 受けるであろう． 」主は カイン に 出會う 者がだれも 彼を 擊つことのないように， カイン にしるしを 付けられた．
  1. Then Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
  2. Cain had relations with his wife and she conceived, and gave birth to Enoch; and he built a city, and called the name of the city Enoch, after the name of his son.
  3. Now to Enoch was born Irad, and Irad became the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael became the father of Methushael, and Methushael became the father of Lamech.
  4. Lamech took to himself two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other, Zillah.
  5. Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.
  1. カイン は 主の 前を 去り， エデン の 東， ノド （さすらい ）の 地に 住んだ．
  2. カイン は 妻を 知った． 彼女は 身ごもって エノク を 産んだ． カイン は 町を 建てていたが， その 町を 息子の 名前にちなんで エノク と 名付けた．
  3. エノク には イラド が 生まれた． イラド は メフヤエル の 父となり， メフヤエル は メトシャエル の 父となり， メトシャエル は レメク の 父となった．
  4. レメク は 二人の 妻をめとった． 一人は アダ ， もう 一人は ツィラ といった．
  5. アダ は ヤバル を 産んだ． ヤバル は， 家畜を 飼い 天幕に 住む 者の 先祖となった．
  1. His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe.
  2. As for Zillah, she also gave birth to Tubal-cain, the forger of all implements of bronze and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
  3. Lamech said to his wives, "Adah and Zillah, Listen to my voice, You wives of Lamech, Give heed to my speech, For I have killed a man for wounding me; And a boy for striking me;
  4. If Cain is avenged sevenfold, Then Lamech seventy-sevenfold."
  5. Adam had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, for, she said, "God has appointed me another offspring in place of Abel, for Cain killed him."
  1. その 弟は ユバル といい， 竪琴や 笛を 奏でる 者すべての 先祖となった．
  2. ツィラ もまた， トバル · カイン を 産んだ． 彼は 靑銅や 鐵でさまざまの 道具を 作る 者となった． トバル · カイン の 妹は ナアマ といった．
  3. さて， レメク は 妻に 言った． 「アダ と ツィラ よ， わが 聲を 聞け． レメク の 妻たちよ， わが 言葉に 耳を 傾けよ． わたしは 傷の 報いに 男を 殺し ／打ち 傷の 報いに 若者を 殺す．
  4. カイン のための 復讐が 七倍なら ／ レメク のためには 七十七倍． 」
  5. 再び， アダム は 妻を 知った． 彼女は 男の 子を 産み， セト と 名付けた． カイン が アベル を 殺したので， 神が 彼に 代わる 子を 授け（シャト ）られたからである．
  1. To Seth, to him also a son was born; and he called his name Enosh Then men began to call upon the name of the LORD.
  1. セト にも 男の 子が 生まれた． 彼はその 子を エノシュ と 名付けた． 主の 御名を 呼び 始めたのは， この 時代のことである．
 
  화염검(火焰劍, 3:24)  자체적으로 회전하며 돌아가는 불칼로, 하나님의 위엄을 상징함  
  창상(創傷, 4:23)  칼이나 도끼 등의 날이 있는 연장에 다친 상처
