	레위기 21:1-22:33 제사장들은 하나님의 영광과 거룩하심을 위해 존재하는 자들이었다. 그들은 하나님께서 명하신 규례를 백성들에게 직접 가르칠 의무가 있었고 성별된 생활을 해야 했다. 하나님께 드리는 성물은 흠 없는 것이어야 했으며, 부정한 자는 그것을 먹을 수 없었다.

	제사장에 관한 규례(21:1-21:24)

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 'No one shall defile himself for a dead person among his people,

except for his relatives who are nearest to him, his mother and his father and his son and his daughter and his brother,

also for his virgin sister, who is near to him because she has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.

'He shall not defile himself as a relative by marriage among his people, and so profane himself.

'They shall not make any baldness on their heads, nor shave off the edges of their beards, nor make any cuts in their flesh.

主はモ ― セに言われた．アロンの子である祭司たちに告げてこう言いなさい．親族の遺體に觸れて身を汚してはならない．

ただし，近親，すなわち，父母，息子，娘，兄弟，

および同居している未婚の姉妹の場合は許される．

間違っても，親族の遺體に觸れて，身を汚すことがあってはならない．

また，頭髮の一部をそり上げたり，ひげの兩端をそり落としたり，身を傷つけたりしてはならない．

'They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they present the offerings by fire to the LORD, the food of their God; so they shall be holy.

'They shall not take a woman who is profaned by harlotry, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for he is holy to his God.

'You shall consecrate him, therefore, for he offers the food of your God; he shall be holy to you; for I the LORD, who sanctifies you, am holy.

'Also the daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by harlotry, she profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire.

'The priest who is the highest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil has been poured and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

神に屬する聖なる者であるように，神の名を汚さないようにしなければならない．祭司は，燃やして主にささげる神の食物を携えるのであるから，聖なる者でなければならない．

遊女となって身を汚した女，あるいは離緣された女をめとってはならない．祭司は神に屬する聖なる者だからである．

あなたは彼を聖なる者とせよ．神の食物をささげる身だからである．彼はあなたに屬する聖なる者でなければならない．わたしはあなたたちを聖別する主，聖なる者だからである．

祭司の娘が遊女となって，身を汚すならば，彼女は父を汚す者であるから，彼女を燒き殺さねばならない．

同僚の祭司たちの上位に立ち，聖別の油を頭に注がれ，祭司の職に任ぜられ，そのための祭服を着る身となった者は，髮をほどいたり，衣服を裂いたりしてはならない．

nor shall he approach any dead person, nor defile himself even for his father or his mother;

nor shall he go out of the sanctuary nor profane the sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am the LORD.

'He shall take a wife in her virginity.

'A widow, or a divorced woman, or one who is profaned by harlotry, these he may not take; but rather he is to marry a virgin of his own people,

so that he will not profane his offspring among his people; for I am the LORD who sanctifies him.'"

自分の父母の遺體であっても，近づいて身を汚してはならない．

聖所を離れて，神の聖所を汚してはならない．彼は神の聖別の油を頭に注がれている者だからである．わたしは主である．

祭司は處女をめとらねばならない．

やもめ，離緣された女，遊女となって身を汚した女などをめとってはならない．一族から處女をめとらねばならない．

一族に汚れた子孫を殘してはならない．わたしは彼を聖別した主だからである．

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to Aaron, saying, 'No man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect shall approach to offer the food of his God.

'For no one who has a defect shall approach: a blind man, or a lame man, or he who has a disfigured face, or any deformed limb,

or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,

or a hunchback or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye or eczema or scabs or crushed testicles.

主はモ ― セに仰せになった．

アロンに告げなさい．あなたの子孫のうちで，障害のある者は，代¿にわたって，神に食物をささげる務めをしてはならない．

だれでも，障害のある者，すなわち，目や足の不自由な者，鼻に欠陷のある者，手足の不釣り合いの者，

手足の折れた者，

背中にこぶのある者，目が弱く欠陷のある者，できものやく ·のある者，ば丸のつぶれた者など，

'No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the LORD'S offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God.

'He may eat the food of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy,

only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, so that he will not profane My sanctuaries. For I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"

So Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel.

祭司アロンの子孫のうちで，以上の障害のある者はだれでも，主に燃やしてささげる獻げ物の務めをしてはならない．彼には障害があるから，神に食物をささげる務めをしてはならない．

しかし，神の食物としてささげられたものは，神聖なる物も聖なる獻げ物も食べることができる．

ただし，彼には障害があるから，垂れ幕の前に進み出たり，祭壇に近づいたりして，わたしの聖所を汚してはならない．わたしが，それらを聖別した主だからである．

モ ― セは以上のことをアロン，その子らおよびイスラエルのすべての人¿に告げた．

	성물에 관한 규례(22:1-22:33)

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the LORD.

"Say to them, 'If any man among all your descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy gifts which the sons of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from before Me; I am the LORD.

'No man of the descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or who has a discharge, may eat of the holy gifts until he is clean And if one touches anything made unclean by a corpse or if a man has a seminal emission,

or if a man touches any teeming things by which he is made unclean, or any man by whom he is made unclean, whatever his uncleanness;

主はモ ― セに仰せになった．

アロンとその子らに告げなさい．聖なるわたしの名を汚さぬよう，イスラエルの人¿がわたしに奉納する聖なる獻げ物に細心の注意を拂いなさい．わたしは主である．

また彼らに告げなさい．あなたたちの子孫のうちだれであれ，イスラエルの人¿が主に奉納する聖なる獻げ物に汚れたまま近づく者は，永久にわたしの前から斷たれるであろう．わたしは主である．

アロンの子孫であって，皮膚病にかかっている者や，漏出のある者はだれも，淸くなるまでは聖なる獻げ物を食べてはならない．死體に觸れて汚れた者，精の漏出があった者，

あるいは人を汚れさせる ※蟲類，人を汚れさせる人間に觸れた者は，その汚れの種類を問わず，

a person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his body in water.

'But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he shall eat of the holy gifts, for it is his food.

'He shall not eat an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it; I am the LORD.

'They shall therefore keep My charge, so that they will not bear sin because of it and die thereby because they profane it; I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

'No layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy gift.

すべてその日の夕方まで汚れている．彼は身を洗うまでは聖なる獻げ物を食べることができない．

日¿になれば彼は淸くなり，それ以後は聖なる獻げ物を食べることができる．それは彼の食物だからである．

死んだ動物や野¿にかみ殺された動物を食べて身を汚してはならない．わたしは主である．

わたしの命令を守りなさい．それを破って罪を負い，それを汚して死を招いてはならない．わたしは彼らを聖別する主である．

一般の人はだれも聖なる獻げ物を食べてはならない．祭司のもとに滯在している者や雇い人も食べてはならない．

'But if a priest buys a slave as his property with his money, that one may eat of it, and those who are born in his house may eat of his food.

'If a priest's daughter is married to a layman, she shall not eat of the offering of the gifts.

'But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and has no child and returns to her father's house as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food; but no layman shall eat of it.

'But if a man eats a holy gift unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy gift to the priest.

'They shall not profane the holy gifts of the sons of Israel which they offer to the LORD,

ただし，祭司が金を出して買い取った奴隷はそれを食べることができる．また，家で生まれた奴隷も祭司の食物を食べることができる．

しかし，祭司の娘であっても，一般人と結婚した者は，祭司が禮物として受けた聖なる獻げ物にあずかることはできない．

ただし，彼女が子のないまま，やもめとなるか，離婚させられるかして，父の家に戾り，娘であった時と同じになっている場合は，父の食物を食べることができる．一般の人はだれもそれにあずかることはできない．

もし，過って聖なる獻げ物を食べた場合，その人は，それと同量の聖なる獻げ物のほかに，その價の五分の一を加えて祭司に渡す．

祭司はイスラエルの人¿が主にささげる聖なる獻げ物を汚したり，

and so cause them to bear punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, 'Any man of the house of Israel or of the aliens in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their votive or any of their freewill offerings, which they present to the LORD for a burnt offering--

for you to be accepted--it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.

'Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.

それを人に食べさせて，彼らに賠償の責めを負わせてはならない．わたしは彼らを聖別する主だからである．

主はモ ― セに仰せになった．

アロンとその子らおよびイスラエルのすべての人¿に告げてこう言いなさい．イスラエルの家の人であれ，イスラエルに寄留する者であれ，滿願の獻げ物あるいは隨意の獻げ物を獻げ物として，燒き盡くしてささげるときは，

主に受け入れられるように傷のない牛，羊，山羊の雄を取る．

あなたたちは傷のあるものをささげてはならない．それは主に受け入れられないからである．

'When a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD to fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.

'Those that are blind or fractured or maimed or having a running sore or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the LORD, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the LORD.

'In respect to an ox or a lamb which has an overgrown or stunted member, you may present it for a freewill offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted.

'Also anything with its testicles bruised or crushed or torn or cut, you shall not offer to the LORD, or sacrifice in your land,

nor shall you accept any such from the hand of a foreigner for offering as the food of your God; for their corruption is in them, they have a defect, they shall not be accepted for you.'"

もし，和解の獻げ物を主にささげ，滿願の獻げ物，あるいは隨意の獻げ物として誓いを果たす場合には，神に受け入れられるよう傷のない牛または羊を取る．どのような傷があってもいけない．

目がつぶれたり，足が折れたり，傷ついたりしているもの，こぶのあるもの，できものやく ·のあるものなど，このような動物を主にささげてはならない．そのいずれも祭壇で燃やして主にささげてはならない．

牛や羊で手足の不釣り合いのものや，發育不全なものは隨意の獻げ物とすることはできるが，滿願の獻げ物としては受け入れられない．

また，ば丸が押しつぶれたり破れたり，引き裂かれたり切り取られたものを主にささげてはならない．あなたたちの國でこのようなことをしてはならない．

あなたたちはこれらの動物を外國人から入手して神の食物としてささげてはならない．それらの動物は傷や欠陷のあるもので，決して受け入れられない．

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the LORD.

"But, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not kill both it and its young in one day.

"When you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.

"It shall be eaten on the same day, you shall leave none of it until morning; I am the LORD.

また，主はモ ― セに仰せになった．

牛，羊，山羊が生まれたときは，七日の間その母親のもとに置きなさい．八日目以後は主に燃やしてささげる獻げ物として受け入れられる．

あなたたちは牛または羊を屠るとき，親と子を同じ日に屠ってはならない．

和解と感謝の獻げ物を主にささげるときは，それが受け入れられるようにささげる．

その肉はその日のうちに食べ，翌日まで殘してはならない．わたしは主である．

"So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the LORD.

"You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be sanctified among the sons of Israel; I am the LORD who sanctifies you,

who brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the LORD."

あなたたちはわたしの戒めを忠實に守りなさい．わたしは主である．

あなたたちは聖なるわたしの名を汚してはならない．わたしはイスラエルの人¿のうちにあって聖別されたものである．わたしはあなたたちを聖別する主である．

わたしはあなたたちの神となるために，エジプトの國からあなたたちを導き出した者である．わたしは主である．
