- While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
- And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.
- And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
- But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
- But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

- イエス がある 町におられたとき， そこに， 全身らい 病にかかった 人がいた． この 人は イエス を 見てひれ 伏し， 「主よ， 御心ならば， わたしを 淸くすることがおできになります 」と 願った．
- イエス が 手を 差し 伸べてその 人に 觸れ， 「よろしい． 淸くなれ 」と 言われると， たちまちらい 病は 去った．
- イエス は 嚴しくお 命じになった． 「だれにも 話してはいけない． ただ， 行って 祭司に 體を 見せ， モ ― セ が 定めたとおりに 淸めの 獻げ 物をし， 人¿に 證明しなさい． 」
- しかし， イエス のうわさはますます 廣まったので， 大勢の 群衆が， 敎えを 聞いたり 病氣をいやしていただいたりするために， 集まって 來た．
- だが， イエス は 人里離れた 所に 退いて 祈っておられた．

- One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.
- And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.
- But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.
- Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."
- The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

- ある 日のこと， イエス が 敎えておられると， ファリサイ 派の 人¿と 律法の 敎師たちがそこに 座っていた． この 人¿は， ガリラヤ と ユダヤ のすべての 村， そして エルサレム から 來たのである． 主の 力が ¿いて， イエス は 病氣をいやしておられた．
- すると， 男たちが 中風を 患っている 人を 床に 乘せて 運んで 來て， 家の 中に 入れて イエス の 前に 置こうとした．
- しかし， 群衆に 阻まれて， 運び ¿む 方法が 見つからなかったので， 屋根に 上って 瓦をはがし， 人¿の 眞ん 中の イエス の 前に， 病人を 床ごとつり 降ろした．
- イエス はその 人たちの 信仰を 見て， 「人よ， あなたの 罪は 赦された 」と 言われた．
- ところが， 律法學者たちや ファリサイ 派の 人¿はあれこれと 考え 始めた． 「神を 冒瀆するこの 男は 何者だ． ただ 神のほかに， いったいだれが， 罪を 赦すことができるだろうか． 」

- But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
- "Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?
- "But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"--He said to the paralytic--"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."
- Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.
- They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."

- イエス は， 彼らの 考えを 知って， お 答えになった． 「何を 心の 中で 考えているのか．
- 『あなたの 罪は 赦された 』と 言うのと， 『起きて 步け 』と 言うのと， どちらが 易しいか．
- 人の 子が 地上で 罪を 赦す 權威を 持っていることを 知らせよう． 」そして， 中風の 人に， 「わたしはあなたに 言う． 起き 上がり， 床を 擔いで 家に 歸りなさい 」と 言われた．
- その 人はすぐさま 皆の 前で 立ち 上がり， 寢ていた 台を 取り 上げ， 神を 贊美しながら 家に 歸って 行った．
- 人¿は 皆大變驚き， 神を 贊美し 始めた． そして， 恐れに 打たれて， 「今日， 驚くべきことを 見た 」と 言った．
