신명기 22:1-23:25

 모세는 이웃에 대한 사랑을 강조하며 곤경에 빠진 형제를 보고 그냥 지나치지 말고 돌아볼 것을 가르쳤다. 모든 종류의 혼합주의를 금했으며, 신앙과 생활의 순결성을 중요시했고, 성 범죄를 강력하게 처벌할 것을 규정했다. 그리고 하나님의 총회에서 제외되는 자들에 대해 규정하고, 인간의 기본적인 생존권 보호를 강조했다.
  
  유실물·성 도덕 규례(22:1-22:30)    
 
  1. "You shall not see your countryman's ox or his sheep straying away, and pay no attention to them; you shall certainly bring them back to your countryman.
  2. "If your countryman is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall remain with you until your countryman looks for it; then you shall restore it to him.
  3. "Thus you shall do with his donkey, and you shall do the same with his garment, and you shall do likewise with anything lost by your countryman, which he has lost and you have found. You are not allowed to neglect them.
  4. "You shall not see your countryman's donkey or his ox fallen down on the way, and pay no attention to them; you shall certainly help him to raise them up.
  5. "A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.
  1. 同胞の 牛または 羊が 迷っているのを 見て， 見ない 振りをしてはならない． 必ず 同胞のもとに 連れ 返さねばならない．
  2. もしも 同胞が 近くの 人でなく， だれであるかも 分からない 場合は， それを 家に 連れ 歸り， 同胞が 搜しに 來るまで 手もとに 置き， 搜しに 來たとき， その 人に 返しなさい．
  3. ろばであれ， 外套であれ， その 他すべて 同胞がなくしたものを， あなたが 見つけたときは， 同じようにしなさい． 見ない 振りをすることは 許されない．
  4. 同胞のろばまたは 牛が 道に 倒れているのを 見て， 見ない 振りをしてはならない． その 人に 力を 貸して， 必ず 助け 起こさねばならない．
  5. 女は 男の 着物を 身に 着けてはならない． 男は 女の 着物を 着てはならない． このようなことをする 者をすべて， あなたの 神， 主はいとわれる．
  1. "If you happen to come upon a bird's nest along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young;
  2. you shall certainly let the mother go, but the young you may take for yourself, in order that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days.
  3. "When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, so that you will not bring bloodguilt on your house if anyone falls from it.
  4. "You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, or all the produce of the seed which you have sown and the increase of the vineyard will become defiled.
  5. "You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.
  1. 道端の 木の 上または 地面に 鳥の 巢を 見つけ， その 中に 雛か 卵があって， 母鳥がその 雛か 卵を 抱いているときは， 母鳥をその 母鳥の 産んだものと 共に 取ってはならない．
  2. 必ず 母鳥を 追い 拂い， 母鳥が 産んだものだけを 取らねばならない． そうすれば， あなたは 幸いを 得， 長く 生きることができる．
  3. 家を 新築するならば， 屋根に 欄干を 付けねばならない． そうすれば， 人が 屋根から 落ちても， あなたの 家が 血を 流した 罪に 問われることはない．
  4. ぶどう 畑にそれと 別の 種を 蒔いてはならない． あなたの 蒔く 種の 實りも， ぶどう 畑本來の 收穫も 共に 汚れたものとならないためである．
  5. 牛とろばとを 組にして 耕してはならない．
  1. "You shall not wear a material mixed of wool and linen together.
  2. "You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of your garment with which you cover yourself.
  3. "If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and then turns against her,
  4. and charges her with shameful deeds and publicly defames her, and says, 'I took this woman, but when I came near her, I did not find her a virgin,'
  5. then the girl's father and her mother shall take and bring out the evidence of the girl's virginity to the elders of the city at the gate.
  1. 毛絲と 亞麻絲とを 織り 合わせた 着物を 着てはならない．
  2. 身にまとう 衣服の 四隅には 房を 付けねばならない．
  3. 人が 妻をめとり， 彼女のところに 入った 後にこれを 嫌い，
  4. 虛僞の 非難をして， 彼女の 惡口を 流し， 「わたしはこの 女をめとって 近づいたが， 處女の 證據がなかった 」と 言うならば，
  5. その 娘の 兩親は 娘の 處女の 證據を 携えて， 町の 門にいる 長老たちに 差し 出し，
  1. "The girl's father shall say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter to this man for a wife, but he turned against her;
  2. and behold, he has charged her with shameful deeds, saying, "I did not find your daughter a virgin." But this is the evidence of my daughter's virginity.' And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
  3. "So the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him,
  4. and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl's father, because he publicly defamed a virgin of Israel. And she shall remain his wife; he cannot divorce her all his days.
  5. "But if this charge is true, that the girl was not found a virgin,
  1. 娘の 父は 長老たちに， 「わたしは 娘をこの 男と 結婚させましたが， 彼は 娘を 嫌い，
  2. 娘に 處女の 證據がなかったと 言って， 虛僞の 非難をしました． しかし， これが 娘の 處女の 證據です 」と 證言し， 布を 町の 長老たちの 前に 廣げねばならない．
  3. 町の 長老たちは 男を 捕まえて 鞭で 打ち，

  2. "If a man is found lying with a married woman, then both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman; thus you shall purge the evil from Israel.
  3. "If there is a girl who is a virgin engaged to a man, and another man finds her in the city and lies with her,
  4. then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death; the girl, because she did not cry out in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor's wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you.
  5. "But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lies with her shall die.
  1. 娘を 父親の 家の 戶口に 引き 出し， 町の 人たちは 彼女を 石で 打ち 殺さねばならない． 彼女は 父の 家で 姦淫を 行って， イスラエル の 中で 愚かなことをしたからである． あなたはあなたの 中から 惡を 取り 除かねばならない．

  1. "But you shall do nothing to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case.
  2. "When he found her in the field, the engaged girl cried out, but there was no one to save her.
  3. "If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is not engaged, and seizes her and lies with her and they are discovered,
  4. then the man who lay with her shall give to the girl's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall become his wife because he has violated her; he cannot divorce her all his days.
  5. "A man shall not take his father's wife so that he will not uncover his father's skirt.
  1. その 娘には 何もしてはならない． 娘には 死刑に 當たる 罪はない． これは， ある 人がその 隣人を 襲い， 殺害した 場合と 同じような 事件である．
  2. 男が 野で 彼女に 出會い， 婚約している 娘は 助けを 求めたが， 助ける 者がいなかったからである．
  3. ある 男がまだ 婚約していない 處女の 娘に 出會い， これを 捕らえ， 共に 寢たところを 見つけられたならば，
  4. 共に 寢た 男はその 娘の 父親に 銀五十 シェケル を 支拂って， 彼女を 妻としなければならない． 彼女を 辱めたのであるから， 生涯彼女を 離緣することはできない．
 
  총회에 참석할 수 없는 자들(23:1-23:25)    
 
  1. "No one who is emasculated or has his male organ cut off shall enter the assembly of the LORD.
  2. "No one of illegitimate birth shall enter the assembly of the LORD; none of his descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall enter the assembly of the LORD.
  3. "No Ammonite or Moabite shall enter the assembly of the LORD; none of their descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall ever enter the assembly of the LORD,
  4. because they did not meet you with food and water on the way when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
  5. "Nevertheless, the LORD your God was not willing to listen to Balaam, but the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you because the LORD your God loves you.
  1. だれも 父の 妻をめとって， 父の 衣の ¿をあらわにしてはならない．
  2. ば 丸のつぶれた 者， 陰莖を 切斷されている 者は 主の 會衆に 加わることはできない．
  3. 混血の 人は 主の 會衆に 加わることはできない． 十代目になっても 主の 會衆に 加わることはできない．
  4. アンモン 人と モアブ 人は 主の 會衆に 加わることはできない． 十代目になっても， 決して 主の 會衆に 加わることはできない．
  5. それは， かつてあなたたちが エジプト から 出て 來たとき， 彼らが パン と 水を 用意して 旅路で 歡迎せず， アラム · ナハライム の ペトル から ベオル の 子 バラム を 雇って， あなたを 呪わせようとしたからである．
  1. "You shall never seek their peace or their prosperity all your days.

  4. "When you go out as an army against your enemies, you shall keep yourself from every evil thing.
  5. "If there is among you any man who is unclean because of a nocturnal emission, then he must go outside the camp; he may not reenter the camp.
  1. あなたの 神， 主は バラム に 耳を 傾けず， あなたの 神， 主はあなたのために 呪いを 祝福に 代えられた． あなたの 神， 主があなたを 愛されたからにほかならない．
  2. あなたは 生涯いつまでも 彼らの 繁榮や 幸福を 求めてはならない．

  1. 夜， 夢精によって 汚れた 者は， 陣營の 外に 出て 行き， 中に 入らず，
  2. 夕方になって 水で 體を 洗い， 日¿に 陣營に 戾ることができる．
  3. 陣營の 外に 一つの 場所を 設け， 用を 足すときは， そこに 行きなさい．
  4. 武器のほかに 杭を 用意し， 外でかがむときには， それで 穴を 掘り， 再びそれで 排泄物を 覆いなさい．
  5. あなたの 神， 主はあなたを 救い， 敵をあなたに 渡すために， 陣營の 中を 步まれる． 陣營は 聖なるものである． 主があなたの 中に 何か 恥ずべきものを 御覽になって， あなたから 離れ 去ることのないようにしなさい．
  1. "He shall live with you in your midst, in the place which he shall choose in one of your towns where it pleases him; you shall not mistreat him.
  2. "None of the daughters of Israel shall be a cult prostitute, nor shall any of the sons of Israel be a cult prostitute.
  3. "You shall not bring the hire of a harlot or the wages of a dog into the house of the LORD your God for any votive offering, for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God.
  4. "You shall not charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything that may be loaned at interest.
  5. "You may charge interest to a foreigner, but to your countrymen you shall not charge interest, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land which you are about to enter to possess.
  1. 主人のもとを 逃れてあなたのもとに 來た 奴隷を， その 主人に 引き 渡してはならない．
  2. あなたの 間に， すなわちあなたのどこかの 町の 彼が 選ぶ 場所に， 望むがままにあなたと 共に 住まわせなさい． 彼を 虐げてはならない．

  1. "When you make a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for it would be sin in you, and the LORD your God will surely require it of you.
  2. "However, if you refrain from vowing, it would not be sin in you.
  3. "You shall be careful to perform what goes out from your lips, just as you have voluntarily vowed to the LORD your God, what you have promised.
  4. "When you enter your neighbor's vineyard, then you may eat grapes until you are fully satisfied, but you shall not put any in your basket.
  5. "When you enter your neighbor's standing grain, then you may pluck the heads with your hand, but you shall not wield a sickle in your neighbor's standing grain.
  1. 外國人には 利子を 付けて 貸してもよいが， 同胞には 利子を 付けて 貸してはならない． それは， あなたが 入って 得る 土地で， あなたの 神， 主があなたの 手の ¿きすべてに 祝福を 與えられるためである．
  2. あなたの 神， 主に 誓願を 立てる 場合は， 遲らせることなく， それを 果たしなさい． あなたの 神， 主は 必ずそれをあなたに 求め， あなたの 罪とされるからである．
  3. 誓願を 中止した 場合は， 罪を 負わない．
  4. 唇に 出したことはそれを 守り， 口で 約束した 誓願は， あなたの 神， 主に 誓願したとおりに 實行しなさい．
