- "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
- "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
- "And you know the way where I am going."
- Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"

- 「心を ¿がせるな． 神を 信じなさい． そして， わたしをも 信じなさい．
- わたしの 父の 家には 住む 所がたくさんある． もしなければ， あなたがたのために 場所を 用意しに 行くと 言ったであろうか．
- 行ってあなたがたのために 場所を 用意したら， 戾って 來て， あなたがたをわたしのもとに 迎える． こうして， わたしのいる 所に， あなたがたもいることになる．
- わたしがどこへ 行くのか， その 道をあなたがたは 知っている． 」
- トマス が 言った． 「主よ， どこへ 行かれるのか， わたしたちには 分かりません． どうして， その 道を 知ることができるでしょうか． 」

- Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
- "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."
- Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us."
- Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
- "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

- イエス は 言われた． 「わたしは 道であり， 眞理であり， 命である． わたしを 通らなければ， だれも 父のもとに 行くことができない．
- あなたがたがわたしを 知っているなら， わたしの 父をも 知ることになる． 今から， あなたがたは 父を 知る． いや， 旣に 父を 見ている． 」
- フィリポ が「主よ， わたしたちに 御父をお 示しください． そうすれば 滿足できます 」と 言うと，
- イエス は 言われた． 「フィリポ ， こんなに 長い 間一緖にいるのに， わたしが 分かっていないのか． わたしを 見た 者は， 父を 見たのだ． なぜ， 『わたしたちに 御父をお 示しください 』と 言うのか．
- わたしが 父の 內におり， 父がわたしの 內におられることを， 信じないのか． わたしがあなたがたに 言う 言葉は， 自分から 話しているのではない． わたしの 內におられる 父が， その 業を 行っておられるのである．

- "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.
- "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
- "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
- "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

- わたしが 父の 內におり， 父がわたしの 內におられると， わたしが 言うのを 信じなさい． もしそれを 信じないなら， 業そのものによって 信じなさい．
- はっきり 言っておく． わたしを 信じる 者は， わたしが 行う 業を 行い， また， もっと 大きな 業を 行うようになる． わたしが 父のもとへ 行くからである．
- わたしの 名によって 願うことは， 何でもかなえてあげよう． こうして， 父は 子によって 榮光をお 受けになる．
- わたしの 名によって 何かを 願うならば， わたしがかなえてあげよう． 」
- 「あなたがたは， わたしを 愛しているならば， わたしの ¿を 守る．
