- Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
- Some devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentation over him.
- But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.
- Therefore, those who had been scattered went about preaching the word.
- Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming Christ to them.

- サウロ は， ステファノ の 殺害に 贊成していた． その 日， エルサレム の 敎會に 對して 大迫害が 起こり， 使徒たちのほかは 皆， ユダヤ と サマリア の 地方に 散って 行った．
- しかし， 信仰深い 人¿が ステファノ を 葬り， 彼のことを 思って 大變悲しんだ．
- 一方， サウロ は 家から 家へと 押し 入って 敎會を 荒らし， 男女を 問わず 引き 出して 牢に 送っていた．
- さて， 散って 行った 人¿は， 福音を 告げ 知らせながら 巡り 步いた．
- フィリポ は サマリア の 町に 下って， 人¿に キリスト を 宣べ 傳えた．

- The crowds with one accord were giving attention to what was said by Philip, as they heard and saw the signs which he was performing.
- For in the case of many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.
- So there was much rejoicing in that city.
- Now there was a man named Simon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great;
- and they all, from smallest to greatest, were giving attention to him, saying, "This man is what is called the Great Power of God."

- 群衆は， フィリポ の 行うしるしを 見聞きしていたので， こぞってその 話に 聞き 入った．
- 實際， 汚れた 靈に 取りつかれた 多くの 人たちからは， その 靈が 大聲で 叫びながら 出て 行き， 多くの 中風患者や 足の 不自由な 人もいやしてもらった．
- 町の 人¿は 大變喜んだ．
- ところで， この 町に 以前から シモン という 人がいて， 魔術を 使って サマリア の 人¿を 驚かせ， 偉大な 人物と 自稱していた．
- それで， 小さな 者から 大きな 者に 至るまで 皆， 「この 人こそ 偉大なものといわれる 神の 力だ 」と 言って 注目していた．

- And they were giving him attention because he had for a long time astonished them with his magic arts.
- But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.
- Even Simon himself believed; and after being baptized, he continued on with Philip, and as he observed signs and great miracles taking place, he was constantly amazed.
- Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John,
- who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

- 人¿が 彼に 注目したのは， 長い 間その 魔術に 心を 奪われていたからである．
- しかし， フィリポ が 神の 國と イエス · キリスト の 名について 福音を 告げ 知らせるのを 人¿は 信じ， 男も 女も 洗禮を 受けた．
- シモン 自身も 信じて 洗禮を 受け， いつも フィリポ につき 從い， すばらしいしるしと 奇跡が 行われるのを 見て 驚いていた．
- エルサレム にいた 使徒たちは， サマリア の 人¿が 神の 言葉を 受け 入れたと 聞き， ペトロ と ヨハネ をそこへ 行かせた．
- 二人は サマリア に 下って 行き， 聖靈を 受けるようにとその 人¿のために 祈った．

- For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
- Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit.
- Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was bestowed through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money,
- saying, "Give this authority to me as well, so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
- But Peter said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

- 人¿は 主 イエス の 名によって 洗禮を 受けていただけで， 聖靈はまだだれの 上にも 降っていなかったからである．
- ペトロ と ヨハネ が 人¿の 上に 手を 置くと， 彼らは 聖靈を 受けた．
- シモン は， 使徒たちが 手を 置くことで， “靈 ＂が 與えられるのを 見， 金を 持って 來て，
- 言った． 「わたしが 手を 置けば， だれでも 聖靈が 受けられるように， わたしにもその 力を 授けてください． 」
- すると， ペトロ は 言った． 「この 金は， お 前と 一緖に 滅びてしまうがよい． 神の 賜物を 金で 手に 入れられると 思っているからだ．

- "You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.
- "Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.
- "For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity."
- But Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me yourselves, so that nothing of what you have said may come upon me."
- So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

- お 前はこのことに 何のかかわりもなければ， 權利もない． お 前の 心が 神の 前に 正しくないからだ．
- この 惡事を 悔い 改め， 主に 祈れ． そのような 心の 思いでも， 赦していただけるかもしれないからだ．
- お 前は 腹黑い 者であり， 惡の ¿目に 縛られていることが， わたしには 分かっている． 」
- シモン は 答えた． 「おっしゃったことが 何一つわたしの 身に 起こらないように， 主に 祈ってください． 」
- このように， ペトロ と ヨハネ は， 主の 言葉を 力强く 證しして 語った 後， サマリア の 多くの 村で 福音を 告げ 知らせて， エルサレム に 歸って 行った．
