사도행전 13:44-14:7

 복음을 영접하는 사람들이 늘어가자, 유대인들은 자신들의 권위와 지지 기반이 약화될 것을 우려해 바울과 바나바를 핍박하고 비시디아 안디옥에서 쫓아냈다. 이고니온으로 온 바울과 바나바는 그 곳에서도 복음을 전했으나, 역시 유대인들의 극심한 박해로 루스드라로 가게 되었다.
  
  유대인들의 박해(13:44-13:52)    
 
  1. The next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the Lord.
  2. But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming.
  3. Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
  4. "For so the Lord has commanded us, 'I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.'"
  5. When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
  1. 次の 安息日になると， ほとんど 町中の 人が 主の 言葉を 聞こうとして 集まって 來た．
  2. しかし， ユダヤ 人はこの 群衆を 見てひどくねたみ， 口汚くののしって， パウロ の 話すことに 反對した．
  3. そこで， パウロ と バルナバ は 勇敢に 語った． 「神の 言葉は， まずあなたがたに 語られるはずでした． だがあなたがたはそれを 拒み， 自分自身を 永遠の 命を 得るに 値しない 者にしている． 見なさい， わたしたちは 異邦人の 方に 行く．
  4. 主はわたしたちにこう 命じておられるからです． 『わたしは， あなたを 異邦人の 光と 定めた， ／あなたが， 地の 果てにまでも ／救いをもたらすために． 』」
  5. 異邦人たちはこれを 聞いて 喜び， 主の 言葉を 贊美した． そして， 永遠の 命を 得るように 定められている 人は 皆， 信仰に 入った．
  1. And the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region.
  2. But the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.
  3. But they shook off the dust of their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
  4. And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
  1. こうして， 主の 言葉はその 地方全體に 廣まった．
  2. ところが， ユダヤ 人は， 神をあがめる 貴婦人たちや 町のおもだった 人¿を 扇動して， パウロ と バルナバ を 迫害させ， その 地方から 二人を 追い 出した．
  3. それで， 二人は 彼らに 對して 足の 塵を 拂い 落とし， イコニオン に 行った．
  4. 他方， 弟子たちは 喜びと 聖靈に 滿たされていた．
 
  이고니온에서 루스드라까지(14:1-14:7)    
 
  1. In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.
  2. But the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles and embittered them against the brethren.
  3. Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.
  4. But the people of the city were divided; and some sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.
  5. And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,
  1. イコニオン でも 同じように， パウロ と バルナバ は ユダヤ 人の 會堂に 入って 話をしたが， その 結果， 大勢の ユダヤ 人や ギリシア 人が 信仰に 入った．
  2. ところが， 信じようとしない ユダヤ 人たちは， 異邦人を 扇動し， 兄弟たちに 對して 惡意を 抱かせた．
  3. それでも， 二人はそこに 長くとどまり， 主を 賴みとして 勇敢に 語った． 主は 彼らの 手を 通してしるしと 不思議な 業を 行い， その 惠みの 言葉を 證しされたのである．
  4. 町の 人¿は 分裂し， ある 者は ユダヤ 人の 側に， ある 者は 使徒の 側についた．
  5. 異邦人と ユダヤ 人が， 指導者と 一緖になって 二人に 亂暴を ¿き， 石を 投げつけようとしたとき，
  1. they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region;
  2. and there they continued to preach the gospel.
  1. 二人はこれに 氣づいて， リカオニア 州の 町である リストラ と デルベ ， またその 近くの 地方に 難を 避けた．
  2. そして， そこでも 福音を 告げ 知らせていた．
