열왕기상 22:1-22:53

 극악한 왕 아합은 미가야의 패전과 죽음에 대한 예언에도 불구하고 400여 명의 거짓 선지자들의 말에 따라 여호사밧 왕과 동맹하여 길르앗 라못 탈환에 나섰다. 결국 예언대로 아합은 전쟁에 패했고 하나님의 심판으로 비참한 최후를 맞았다.
  
  아합의 마지막 전투(22:1-22:40)    
 
  1. Three years passed without war between Aram and Israel.
  2. In the third year Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
  3. Now the king of Israel said to his servants, "Do you know that Ramoth-gilead belongs to us, and we are still doing nothing to take it out of the hand of the king of Aram?"
  4. And he said to Jehoshaphat, "Will you go with me to battle at Ramoth-gilead?" And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, "I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses."
  5. Moreover, Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, "Please inquire first for the word of the LORD."
  1. 三年間， アラム と イスラエル の 間には 戰いがなかった．
  2. 三年目になって， ユダ の 王 ヨシャファト が イスラエル の 王のところに 下って 來た．
  3. イスラエル の 王は 家臣たちに， 「お 前たちは ラモト · ギレアド が 我¿のものであることを 知っているであろう． 我¿は 何もせずにいて， アラム の 王の 手からそれを 奪い 返せないままでいる 」と 言った．
  4. それから， ヨシャファト に 向かって， 「わたしと 共に 行って， ラモト · ギレアド と 戰っていただけませんか 」と 尋ねた． ヨシャファト は イスラエル の 王に 答えた． 「わたしはあなたと 一體， わたしの 民はあなたの 民と 一體， わたしの 馬はあなたの 馬と 一體です． 」
  5. しかし 同時に ヨシャファト は イスラエル の 王に， 「まず 主の 言葉を 求めてください 」と 言った．
  1. Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall I go against Ramoth-gilead to battle or shall I refrain?" And they said, "Go up, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king."
  2. But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not yet a prophet of the LORD here that we may inquire of him?"
  3. The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. He is Micaiah son of Imlah." But Jehoshaphat said, "Let not the king say so."
  4. Then the king of Israel called an officer and said, "Bring quickly Micaiah son of Imlah."
  5. Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
  1. イスラエル の 王は， 約四百人の 預言者を 召集し， 「わたしは ラモト · ギレアド に 行って 戰いを 挑むべきか， それとも 控えるべきか 」と 問うた． 彼らは， 「攻め 上ってください． 主は， 王の 手にこれをお 渡しになります 」と 答えた．
  2. しかし， ヨシャファト が， 「ここには， このほかに 我¿が 尋ねることのできる 主の 預言者はいないのですか 」と 問うと，
  3. イスラエル の 王は ヨシャファト に 答えた． 「もう 一人， 主の 御旨を 尋ねることのできる 者がいます． しかし， 彼はわたしに 幸運を 預言することがなく， 災いばかり 預言するので， わたしは 彼を 憎んでいます． イムラ の 子 ミカヤ という 者です． 」 ヨシャファト は， 「王よ， そのように 言ってはなりません 」といさめた．
  4. そこで イスラエル の 王は 一人の 宦官を 呼び， 「イムラ の 子 ミカヤ を 急いで 連れて 來るように 」と 言った．
  5. イスラエル の 王は ユダ の 王 ヨシャファト と 共に， サマリア の 城門の 入り 口にある 麥打ち 場で， それぞれ 正裝して 王座に 着いていた． 預言者たちは 皆， その 前に 出て 預言していた．
  1. Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself and said, "Thus says the LORD, 'With these you will gore the Arameans until they are consumed.'"
  2. All the prophets were prophesying thus, saying, "Go up to Ramoth-gilead and prosper, for the LORD will give it into the hand of the king."
  3. Then the messenger who went to summon Micaiah spoke to him saying, "Behold now, the words of the prophets are uniformly favorable to the king. Please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak favorably."
  4. But Micaiah said, "As the LORD lives, what the LORD says to me, that I shall speak."
  5. When he came to the king, the king said to him, "Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain?" And he answered him, "Go up and succeed, and the LORD will give it into the hand of the king."
  1. ケナアナ の 子 ツィドキヤ が 數本の 鐵の 角を 作って， 「主はこう 言われる． これをもって アラム を 突き， 殲滅せよ 」と 言うと，
  2. 他の 預言者たちも 皆同樣に 預言して， 「ラモト · ギレアド に 攻め 上って 勝利を 得てください． 主は 敵を 王の 手にお 渡しになります 」と 言った．
  3. ミカヤ を 呼びに 行った 使いの 者は， ミカヤ にこう 言い 含めた． 「いいですか． 預言者たちは 口をそろえて， 王に 幸運を 告げています． どうかあなたも， 彼らと 同じように 語り， 幸運を 告げてください． 」
  4. ミカヤ は， 「主は 生きておられる． 主がわたしに 言われる 事をわたしは 告げる 」と 言って，
  5. 王のもとに 來た． 王が， 「ミカヤ よ， 我¿は ラモト · ギレアド に 行って 戰いを 挑むべきか， それとも 控えるべきか， どちらだ 」と 問うと， 彼は， 「攻め 上って 勝利を 得てください． 主は 敵を 王の 手にお 渡しになります 」と 答えた．
  1. Then the king said to him, "How many times must I adjure you to speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?"
  2. So he said, "I saw all Israel Scattered on the mountains, Like sheep which have no shepherd. And the LORD said, 'These have no master. Let each of them return to his house in peace.'"
  3. Then the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?"
  4. Micaiah said, "Therefore, hear the word of the LORD. I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His left.
  5. "The LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?' And one said this while another said that.
  1. そこで 王が 彼に， 「何度誓わせたら， お 前は 主の 名によって 眞實だけをわたしに 告げるようになるのか 」と 言うと，
  2. 彼は 答えた． 「イスラエル 人が 皆， 羊飼いのいない 羊のように 山¿に 散っているのをわたしは 見ました． 主は， 『彼らには 主人がいない． 彼らをそれぞれ 自分の 家に 無事に 歸らせよ 』と 言われました． 」
  3. イスラエル の 王は ヨシャファト に 言った． 「あなたに 言ったとおりではありませんか． 彼はわたしに 幸運ではなく， 災いばかり 預言するのです． 」
  4. だが， ミカヤ は 續けた． 「主の 言葉をよく 聞きなさい． わたしは 主が 御座に 座し， 天の 万軍がその 左右に 立っているのを 見ました．
  5. 主が， 『アハブ を 唆し， ラモト · ギレアド に 攻め 上らせて 倒れさせるのは 誰か 』と 言われると， あれこれと 答える 者がいましたが，
  1. "Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
  2. "The LORD said to him, 'How?' And he said, 'I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, 'You are to entice him and also prevail. Go and do so.'
  3. "Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and the LORD has proclaimed disaster against you."
  4. Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, "How did the Spirit of the LORD pass from me to speak to you?"
  5. Micaiah said, "Behold, you shall see on that day when you enter an inner room to hide yourself."
  1. ある 靈が 進み 出て 主の 御前に 立ち， 『わたしが 彼を 唆します 』と 申し 出ました． 主が， 『どのようにそうするのか 』とただされると，
  2. その 靈は， 『わたしは 行って， 彼のすべての 預言者たちの 口を 通して 僞りを 言う 靈となります 』と 答えました． 主は， 『あなたは 彼を 唆して， 必ず 目的を 達することができるにちがいない． 行って， そのとおりにせよ 』と 言われました．
  3. 今御覽のとおり， 主がこのあなたのすべての 預言者の 口に 僞りを 言う 靈を 置かれました． 主はあなたに 災いを 告げておられるのです． 」
  4. ケナアナ の 子 ツィドキヤ が ミカヤ に 近づいて 頰をなぐり， 「主の 靈はどのようにわたしを 離れ 去って， お 前に 語ったというのか 」と 言った．
  5. 「あなたが 身を 隱そうと 部屋から 部屋へと 移る 日にそれが 分かる 」と ミカヤ は 答えた．
  1. Then the king of Israel said, "Take Micaiah and return him to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king's son;
  2. and say, 'Thus says the king, "Put this man in prison and feed him sparingly with bread and water until I return safely."'"
  3. Micaiah said, "If you indeed return safely the LORD has not spoken by me " And he said, "Listen, all you people."
  4. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah went up against Ramoth-gilead.
  5. The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "I will disguise myself and go into the battle, but you put on your robes." So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.
  1. イスラエル の 王は 命じた． 「ミカヤ を 捕らえ， 町の 長 アモン と 王子 ヨアシュ のもとに 引いて 行って，
  2. 言え． 『王はこう 言われる． この 男を 獄につなぎ， わたしが 無事に 歸って 來るまで， わずかな 食べ 物とわずかな 飮み 物しか 與えるな． 』」
  3. ミカヤ は 王に， 「もしあなたが 無事に 歸って 來ることができるなら， 主はわたしを 通して 語られなかったはずです 」と 言い， 「すべての 民よ， あなたたちも 聞いておくがよい 」と 言った．
  4. イスラエル の 王は， ユダ の 王 ヨシャファト と 共に ラモト · ギレアド に 攻め 上った．
  5. イスラエル の 王は ヨシャファト に， 「わたしは 變裝して 戰いに 行きますが， あなたは 御自分の 服を 着ていてください 」と 言い， イスラエル の 王は 變裝して 戰いに 行った．
  1. Now the king of Aram had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, "Do not fight with small or great, but with the king of Israel alone."
  2. So when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "Surely it is the king of Israel," and they turned aside to fight against him, and Jehoshaphat cried out.
  3. When the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
  4. Now a certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel in a joint of the armor. So he said to the driver of his chariot, "Turn around and take me out of the fight; for I am severely wounded."
  5. The battle raged that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot in front of the Arameans, and died at evening, and the blood from the wound ran into the bottom of the chariot.
  1. アラム の 王は 配下の 戰車隊の 長三十二人に， 「兵士や 將軍には 目もくれず， ただ イスラエル の 王をねらって 戰え 」と 命じていた．
  2. 戰車隊の 長たちは ヨシャファト を 見たとき， 「これこそ イスラエル の 王にちがいない 」と 言い， 轉じて 彼に 攻めかかろうとした． ヨシャファト は 助けを 求めて 叫んだ．
  3. そこで 戰車隊の 長たちは， 彼が イスラエル の 王ではないと 知り， 追うのをやめて 引き 返した．
  4. ところが 一人の 兵が 何氣なく 弓を 引き， イスラエル 王の 鎧の 胸當てと 草摺りの 間を 射貫いた． 王は 御者に 言った． 「手綱を 返して 敵陣から 脫出させてくれ． 傷を 負ってしまった． 」
  5. その 日， 戰いがますます 激しくなったため， 王は アラム 軍を 前にして 戰車の 中で 支えられていたが， 夕方になって 息絶えた． 傷口から 血が 戰車の 床に 流れ 出ていた．
  1. Then a cry passed throughout the army close to sunset, saying, "Every man to his city and every man to his country."
  2. So the king died and was brought to Samaria, and they buried the king in Samaria.
  3. They washed the chariot by the pool of Samaria, and the dogs licked up his blood (now the harlots bathed themselves there), according to the word of the LORD which He spoke.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Ahab and all that he did and the ivory house which he built and all the cities which he built, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
  5. So Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah his son became king in his place.
  1. 日の 沈むころ， 「おのおの 自分の 町， 自分の 國へ 歸れ 」という 叫びが 陣營の 中を 行き 巡った．
  2. 王は 死んで サマリア に 運ばれた． 人¿はこの 王を サマリア に 葬った．
  3. サマリア の 池で 戰車を 洗うと， 主が 告げられた 言葉のとおり， 犬の 群れが 彼の 血をなめ， 遊女たちがそこで 身を 洗った．
  4. アハブ の 他の 事績， 彼の 行ったすべての 事， 特に 彼の 建てた 象牙の 家， 彼の 建てたすべての 町¿については， 『イスラエル の 王の 歷代誌 』に 記されている．
  5. アハブ は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， その 息子 アハズヤ が アハブ に 代わって 王となった．
 
  여호사밧과 아하시야의 통치(22:41-22:53)    
 
  1. Now Jehoshaphat the son of Asa became king over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.
  2. Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
  3. He walked in all the way of Asa his father; he did not turn aside from it, doing right in the sight of the LORD However, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places.
  4. Jehoshaphat also made peace with the king of Israel.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might which he showed and how he warred, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
  1. アサ の 子 ヨシャファト は， イスラエル の 王 アハブ の 治世第四年に ユダ の 王となった．
  2. ヨシャファト は 三十五歲で 王となり， エルサレム で 二十五年間王位にあった． その 母は 名を アズバ と 言い， シルヒ の 娘であった．
  3. 彼は 父 アサ の 道をそのまま 步み， それを 離れず， 主の 目にかなう 正しいことを 行った．
  4. しかし， 聖なる 高台は 取り 除かなかった． 民は 依然として 聖なる 高台でいけにえをささげ， 香をたいていた．
  5. ヨシャファト は イスラエル の 王との 間に 平和を 維持した．
  1. The remnant of the sodomites who remained in the days of his father Asa, he expelled from the land.

  3. Jehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold, but they did not go for the ships were broken at Ezion-geber.
  4. Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, "Let my servants go with your servants in the ships." But Jehoshaphat was not willing.
  5. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David, and Jehoram his son became king in his place.
  1. ヨシャファト の 他の 事績， 彼のあげた 功績， また 戰いについては， 『ユダ の 王の 歷代誌 』に 記されている．

  1. Ahaziah the son of Ahab became king over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.
  2. He did evil in the sight of the LORD and walked in the way of his father and in the way of his mother and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
  3. So he served Baal and worshiped him and provoked the LORD God of Israel to anger, according to all that his father had done.
  1. ヨシャファト は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， 先祖と 共に 父 ダビデ の 町に 葬られた． その 子 ヨラム が ヨシャファト に 代わって 王となった．
  2. アハブ の 子 アハズヤ は， ユダ の 王 ヨシャファト の 治世第十七年に サマリア で イスラエル の 王となった． 彼は 二年間 イスラエル の 王位にあった．
  3. 彼は 主の 目に 惡とされることを 行い， 父の 道と 母の 道， および イスラエル に 罪を 犯させた ネバト の 子 ヤロブアム の 道を 步んだ．
