욥기 37:1-38:41

 엘리후는 욥에게 자연을 통해 나타난 하나님의 위엄과 능력을 생각하라고 하였다. 그런데 그때 하나님께서 직접 개입하셔서 폭풍 가운데 욥에게 나타나셨다. 그리고 하나님은 욥에게 질문하시고 그의 답변을 요구하셨다.
  
  욥에게 말씀하시는 하나님(37:1-38:41)    
 
  1. "At this also my heart trembles, And leaps from its place.
  2. "Listen closely to the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that goes out from His mouth.
  3. "Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, And His lightning to the ends of the earth.
  4. "After it, a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, And He does not restrain the lightnings when His voice is heard.
  5. "God thunders with His voice wondrously, Doing great things which we cannot comprehend.
  1. それゆえ， わたしの 心は ／破れんばかりに 激しく 打つ．
  2. 聞け， 神の 御聲のとどろきを ／その 口から 出る 響きを．
  3. 閃光は 天の 四方に 放たれ ／稻妻は 地の 果てに 及ぶ．
  4. 雷鳴がそれを 追い ／嚴かな 聲が 響きわたる． 御聲は 聞こえるが， 稻妻の 跡はない．
  5. 神は 驚くべき 御聲をとどろかせ ／わたしたちの 知りえない ／大きな 業を 成し 遂げられる．
  1. "For to the snow He says, 'Fall on the earth,' And to the downpour and the rain, 'Be strong.'
  2. "He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.
  3. "Then the beast goes into its lair And remains in its den.
  4. "Out of the south comes the storm, And out of the north the cold.
  5. "From the breath of God ice is made, And the expanse of the waters is frozen.
  1. 神は 命じられる． 雪には， 「地に 降り 積もれ 」雨には， 「激しく 降れ 」と．
  2. 人の 手の 業をすべて 封じ ¿め ／すべての 人間に 御業を 認めさせられる．
  3. ¿は 隱れがに 入り， 巢に 伏す．
  4. 嵐がその 蓄えられている 所を 出ると ／寒さがまき 散らされる．
  5. 神が 息を 吹きかければ 氷ができ ／水の 廣がりは 凍って 固まる．
  1. "Also with moisture He loads the thick cloud; He disperses the cloud of His lightning.
  2. "It changes direction, turning around by His guidance, That it may do whatever He commands it On the face of the inhabited earth.
  3. "Whether for correction, or for His world, Or for lovingkindness, He causes it to happen.
  4. "Listen to this, O Job, Stand and consider the wonders of God.
  5. "Do you know how God establishes them, And makes the lightning of His cloud to shine?
  1. 雲は 雨を 含んで 重くなり ／密雲は 稻妻を 放つ．
  2. 雨雲はここかしこに 垂れこめ ／導かれるままに 姿を 變え ／命じられるところを ／あまねく 地の 面に 行う．
  3. 懲らしめのためにも， 大地のためにも ／そして 惠みを 與えるためにも ／神はこれを 行わせられる．
  4. ヨブ よ， 耳を 傾け ／神の 驚くべき 御業について， よく 考えよ．
  5. あなたは 知っているか ／どのように 神が 指圖して ／密雲の 中から 稻妻を 輝かせるかを．
  1. "Do you know about the layers of the thick clouds, The wonders of one perfect in knowledge,
  2. You whose garments are hot, When the land is still because of the south wind?
  3. "Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a molten mirror?
  4. "Teach us what we shall say to Him; We cannot arrange our case because of darkness.
  5. "Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man say that he would be swallowed up?
  1. あなたは 知っているか ／完全な 知識を 持つ 方が ／垂れこめる 雨雲によって ／驚くべき 御業を 果たされることを．
  2. 南風が 吹いて 大地が 默すときには ／あなたの 衣すら 熱くなるというのに
  3. 鑄て 造った 鏡のような 堅い 大空を ／あなたは， 神と 共に ／固めることができるとでもいうのか．
  4. 神に 何と 申し 上げるべきかを ／わたしたちに 言ってみよ． 暗黑を 前にして ／わたしたちに 何の 申し 立てができようか．
  5. わたしが 話したとしても ／神に 對して 說明になるだろうか． 人間が 何か 言ったところで ／神が 言い 負かされるだろうか．
  1. "Now men do not see the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind has passed and cleared them.
  2. "Out of the north comes golden splendor; Around God is awesome majesty.
  3. "The Almighty--we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not do violence to justice and abundant righteousness.
  4. "Therefore men fear Him; He does not regard any who are wise of heart."
  1. 今， 光は 見えないが ／それは 雲のかなたで 輝いている． やがて 風が 吹き， 雲を 拂うと
  2. 北から 黃金の 光が 射し ／恐るべき 輝きが 神を 包むだろう．
  3. 全能者を 見いだすことはわたしたちにはできない． 神は 優れた 力をもって 治めておられる． 憐れみ 深い 人を 苦しめることはなさらない．
  4. それゆえ， 人は 神を 畏れ 敬う． 人の 知惠はすべて 顧みるに 値しない．
 
 
  1. Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,
  2. "Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
  3. "Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me!
  4. "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding,
  5. Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it?
  1. 主は 嵐の 中から ヨブ に 答えて 仰せになった．
  2. これは 何者か． 知識もないのに， 言葉を 重ねて ／神の 經 └を 暗くするとは．
  3. 男らしく， 腰に 帶をせよ． わたしはお 前に 尋ねる， わたしに 答えてみよ．
  4. わたしが 大地を 据えたとき ／お 前はどこにいたのか． 知っていたというなら ／理解していることを 言ってみよ．
  5. 誰がその 廣がりを 定めたかを 知っているのか． 誰がその 上に 測り ¿を 張ったのか．
  1. "On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone,
  2. When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
  3. "Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb;
  4. When I made a cloud its garment And thick darkness its swaddling band,
  5. And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,
  1. 基の 柱はどこに 沈められたのか． 誰が 隅の 親石を 置いたのか．
  2. そのとき， 夜明けの 星はこぞって 喜び 歌い ／神の 子らは 皆， 喜びの 聲をあげた．
  3. 海は 二つの 扉を 押し 開いてほとばしり ／母の 胎から 溢れ 出た．
  4. わたしは 密雲をその 着物とし ／濃霧をその 産着としてまとわせた．
  5. しかし， わたしはそれに 限界を 定め ／二つの 扉にかんぬきを 付け
  1. And I said, 'Thus far you shall come, but no farther; And here shall your proud waves stop'?
  2. "Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And caused the dawn to know its place,
  3. That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
  4. "It is changed like clay under the seal; And they stand forth like a garment.
  5. "From the wicked their light is withheld, And the uplifted arm is broken.
  1. 「ここまでは 來てもよいが 越えてはならない． 高ぶる 波をここでとどめよ 」と 命じた．
  2. お 前は 一生に 一度でも 朝に 命令し ／曙に 役割を 指示したことがあるか
  3. 大地の 緣をつかんで ／神に 逆らう 者どもを 地上から 拂い 落とせと．
  4. 大地は 粘土に 型を 押していくように 姿を 變え ／すべては 裝われて 現れる．
  5. しかし， 惡者どもにはその 光も 拒まれ ／振り 上げた 腕は 折られる．
  1. "Have you entered into the springs of the sea Or walked in the recesses of the deep?
  2. "Have the gates of death been revealed to you, Or have you seen the gates of deep darkness?
  3. "Have you understood the expanse of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.
  4. "Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,
  5. That you may take it to its territory And that you may discern the paths to its home?
  1. お 前は 海の 湧き 出るところまで 行き 着き ／深淵の 底を 行き 巡ったことがあるか．
  2. 死の 門がお 前に 姿を 見せ ／死の 闇の 門を 見たことがあるか．
  3. お 前はまた， 大地の 廣がりを ／隅¿まで 調べたことがあるか． そのすべてを 知っているなら 言ってみよ．
  4. 光が 住んでいるのはどの 方向か． 暗黑の 住みかはどこか．
  5. 光をその 境にまで 連れていけるか． 暗黑の 住みかに 至る 道を 知っているか．
  1. "You know, for you were born then, And the number of your days is great!
  2. "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
  3. Which I have reserved for the time of distress, For the day of war and battle?
  4. "Where is the way that the light is divided, Or the east wind scattered on the earth?
  5. "Who has cleft a channel for the flood, Or a way for the thunderbolt,
  1. そのときお 前は 旣に 生まれていて ／人生の 日數も 多いと 言うのなら ／これらのことを 知っているはずだ．
  2. お 前は 雪の 倉に 入ったことがあるか． 嫁の 倉を 見たことがあるか．
  3. 災いの 時のために ／戰いや 爭いの 日のために ／わたしはこれらを 蓄えているのだ．
  4. 光が 放たれるのはどの 方向か． 東風が 地上に 送られる 道はどこか．
  5. 誰が 豪雨に 水路を 引き ／稻妻に 道を 備え
  1. To bring rain on a land without people, On a desert without a man in it,
  2. To satisfy the waste and desolate land And to make the seeds of grass to sprout?
  3. "Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
  4. "From whose womb has come the ice? And the frost of heaven, who has given it birth?
  5. "Water becomes hard like stone, And the surface of the deep is imprisoned.
  1. まだ 人のいなかった 大地に ／無人であった 荒れ 野に 雨を 降らせ
  2. 乾ききったところを 潤し ／靑草の 芽がもえ 出るようにしたのか．
  3. 雨に 父親があるだろうか． 誰が 露の 滴を 産ませるのか．
  4. 誰の 腹から 嫁は 出てくるのか． 天から 降る 霜は 誰が 産むのか．
  5. 水は 凍って 石のようになり ／深淵の 面は 固く 閉ざされてしまう．
  1. "Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades, Or loose the cords of Orion?
  2. "Can you lead forth a constellation in its season, And guide the Bear with her satellites?
  3. "Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, Or fix their rule over the earth?
  4. "Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, So that an abundance of water will cover you?
  5. "Can you send forth lightnings that they may go And say to you, 'Here we are'?
  1. すばるの 鎖を 引き 締め ／ オリオン の 綱を 緩めることがお 前にできるか．
  2. 時がくれば 銀河を 繰り 出し ／大熊を 子熊と 共に 導き 出すことができるか．
  3. 天の 法則を 知り ／その 支配を 地上に 及ぼす 者はお 前か．
  4. お 前が 雨雲に 向かって 聲をあげれば ／洪水がお 前を 包むだろうか．
  5. お 前が 送り 出そうとすれば ／稻妻が「はい 」と 答えて 出て 行くだろうか．
  1. "Who has put wisdom in the innermost being Or given understanding to the mind?
  2. "Who can count the clouds by wisdom, Or tip the water jars of the heavens,
  3. When the dust hardens into a mass And the clods stick together?
  4. "Can you hunt the prey for the lion, Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,
  5. When they crouch in their dens And lie in wait in their lair?
  1. 誰が ¿に 知惠を 授け ／誰が 雄鷄に 分別を 與えたのか．
  2. 誰が 知惠をもって 雲を 數え ／天にある 水の 袋を 傾けるのか．
  3. 塵が 溶けて 形を 成し ／土くれが 一塊となるように．
  4. お 前は 雌獅子のために 獲物を 備え ／その 子の 食欲を 滿たしてやることができるか．
  5. 雌獅子は 茂みに 待ち 伏せ ／その 子は 隱れがにうずくまっている．
  1. "Who prepares for the raven its nourishment When its young cry to God And wander about without food?
  1. 誰が 烏のために 餌を 置いてやるのか ／その 雛が 神に 向かって 鳴き ／食べ 物を 求めて 迷い 出るとき．
